however, did not go well. Our contract stated that we would have photos back within 2 months but we were flexible on the timeframe. Anjali reached out to us after 3 months and said our photos were ready and that she sent the gallery link. After not receiving the link from her, we reached out again and had trouble getting ahold of her. This continued for over 3 months - she consistently did not reply to texts, emails, and Instagram messages. When she would reply, she always said we’d have the photos within 24 hours or by the end of the week, but never sent the photos like she said she would. After over 6 months of waiting after our wedding, we still had not received our photos. We ultimately received the photos after asking to get a mediator involved. It has now been 8 months since our wedding and we still have not received all of the photos we were promised and are still not having our messages returned. The length of time to receive our photos was definitely an issue, but honestly the lack of communication and constant lying about when we would receive them was the biggest issue.

We chose the package that included a second photographer for 8 hours. Our meeting to talk about the wedding timeline in person was days before the wedding which was not ideal, but worked out. Ultimately we were disappointed. The photos we did receive were great. The main problem that we had was once more communication. Upon receiving our wedding photos and looking through the online gallery, we noticed there were no photos of my husband or his groomsmen getting ready. There were no photos of his detail shots, them arriving at the venue, them together as a group or him individually with them. There were also other photos the second photographer took that we never received. For a few months we continued to receive responses stating Anjali was working on this in trying to recover it after many messages and questions. After speaking with the second photographer, Anjali did not ask her for any of her photos until after she had delivered our photos. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The second photographer stated that she only keeps photos for a month and by the time Anjali had asked for them, they were gone. The whole reason we wanted a second photographer was to be able to capture every detail of our special day. . She offered to retake photos of “Kyle” in his suit. Again, my husband is Zach. We were also tagged in an Instagram story that said “Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Berkle.” Our last name is Burkle. We were hoping for an experience that was personalized and focused on our special day. We feel like we as a couple were simply provided a service and not an experience that we had so looked forward to. Photography is one of the largest parts of a special day. Anjali did ultimately refund us the fee for the photographer. My husband will never have those photos with his childhood friends and family getting ready and having fun on his wedding day.
