Our wedding photos were the one thing we wanted to splurge on because it was the thing you will remember and keep forever from that day. So we didn't mind the cost as long as it was worth it. Ann and Kam were amazing from day one when we emailed and were so so so worth the price! We met each other first before deciding to go with them (and them with us) which was good because we could see if we would be a good personality fit. We had researched lots of photographers so we already knew we liked their style (illustrative - a blend of photojournalism candid as things go photos and some posed portrait). You can see from their photos that they are amazing at catching movement in crisp shots. On our first meeting we ended up talking for an hour just getting to know each other! We had been engaged for a while so we weren't too into the engagement photos thing but I highly recommend it because it gives you and your partner a chance to get used to getting photographed. Ann and Kam were great at making us feel comfortable and natural and even gave us suggestions that came out looking super natural! They even worked with us to do our engagement photos in Wisconsin because we both had family out there! Prior to the day of, they helped us map out our day to make sure we had all the shots we wanted (along with suggestions). And before the day was over, they made sure we had every shot we wanted before they called it a night. Ann and Kam are amazing photographers, a great team (two photographers for the price of one!) and are just all around fun people! We've gotten along so well, my husband and I consider them our new friends! I would recommend them to anyone for any event, especially wedding photos!

Ann and Kam were fabulous from start to finish. We tried them for our engagement shots and were really impressed by how well they communicated, which was explained when I learned that they're a husband-wife team. They listened to what we wanted and served as great resources during wedding planning. We were never jerked around - everything was clear and fair. I always felt like they were available, responsive, and genuinely care about their art and our happiness. We looooved the engagement pictures and hired Ann and Kam for photos, videography, and a photo booth at the wedding. The sneak peek that Ann sent to me within days of the wedding has me super excited... I've never seen pictures of us where we look so good! They captured a rustic-themed outdoor wedding just as well as our cosmopolitan downtown engagement shots. Equipment is top notch, professionalism is top notch, eye for detail is out of this world - I recommend them without hesitation.

I would 100% ABSOLUTLY RECOMMEND Ann and Kam! My husband and I got married in an old gothic cathedral and our reception was in an old historic mansion on Lake Michigan. Our venue was beautiful and I knew I wanted someone to capture all the elements of our beautiful day. I wanted artistic pictures that captured the elegance of our venue. My problem is that I’m NOT an artistic person. I knew I wanted gorgeous pictures. But I had no great ideas of my own. That’s when I met ANN :) Ann and Kam had TONS of ideas on how to work the space. Needless to say, our pictures are amazing, stunning, gorgeous, and everything we wanted!! We have hundreds of pictures that we love! Ann and Kam are passionate about their work. They make a remarkable team! From the first day I met Ann, to the wedding day she was extremely professional. She was on top of emails, phone calls, and was always on time. The day before the wedding I decided I really wanted Ann and Kam to come an hour earlier. It was no problem, they did! And our wedding video is a masterpiece!! I’ve watched it about 40 times already!! I couldn’t be more sincere in my recommendation of Ann and Kam. They are the BEST!

After searching and searching for a photographer for our Feb 11th Lake Geneva wedding I found Ann's website. Our wedding was a bit "off beat" so when I saw her feature on offbeatbride.com I knew we made the right choice! We spoke over facebook and email for the 9 months leading up to the wedding. She answered all my questions and even got my sister's approval! (another professional photographer in Florida). The day of the wedding was VERY cold and windy. She got us all to suck it up since she knew how much outdoor pics meant to me! Her and Cam did an amazing job! Ann with the girls and Cam with the boys. She was very patient as of course the girls were not ready on time. The pictures....AMAZING!!! The groom and I did not wear white and she was able to really make our colors pop while keeping the bridal party (who were in white) still popping out of the snow as well!!! They were fantastic!!!! Thank you Ann and Cam! I can't wait to see the rest of the photos!!!

Ann and her husband Kamran are amazing. They take fabulous pictures and manage to make even the most camera shy feel comfortable. Every penny spent on photography will be worth it!

I recently used Ann Oleinik for my wedding photography, and she (and her husband) did a fantastic job! The pictures are beautiful, and they were extremely creative and resourceful without being intrusive. Ann and her husband really did a great job capturing those unique, romantic, and fun moments! They really listened to what we told them we wanted, and they were a pleasure to work with. I also think that the price was very reasonable considering the value of the WONDERFUL pictures! We had a faulous experience with Ann. She was easy to work with and we felt very comfortable with her and Karmen around all day. The pictures are gorgeous and we could not have asked for more.

I could not have asked for a better photographer. She did an excellent job. The pictures are gorgeous and she really knew how to use the arboretum to make the pictures look great. She was nice, professional and easy going the entire time. I would recommend her to EVERYONE!

Hiring Ann & Kam was one of the best decisions we made. Rather than making us wait until ALL the photos were done, Ann has posted several on Facebook (with my permission first, of course) and made a really cute photo montage that we can share online with everyone. They were so much fun the day of the wedding, and the photos have turned out great! They really captured the emotions of the day. Ann was great about communicating over e-mail and phone before the wedding to make sure our visions matched. Highly recommend!

I chose Ann for my July 22nd wedding after I search around for the perfect photographer everywhere. I knew as soon as I saw her website and portfolio that this is the person I wanted to capture our day. And thats exactly what she did, anyone can take pictures, it takes someone truly special to capture the emotion and love in every picture! Ann and her husband Kamran shot the tears and the laughs, the dancing and the craziness. Every picture brought us right back to the moment and always will. They made us a beautiful slideshow that surprised us and brought tears to our eyes. I would truly recommend Ann and Kamran to my own daughter for her wedding, they are an amazing team and by the end of the night they felt like family! I could not have been happier...neither will you!

Ann is amazing, her photos captured the day exactly the way I envisioned my wedding. After discussing with her my ideas, she also put her own creative touch into play. I'm so happy Ann was our photographer, she brought all my planning into beautiful memories. My friends can't stop raving enough about our photos. One even said that her father and grandfather were wedding photographers and never seen such beautiful photos!!!

Ann photographed my wedding in June 2011 and I loved working with her. She is a very thoughful artist and an organized, efficient professional. I was interested in working with her because of beautiful work with performing artists and her work shooting multi-cultural events. Ann took the time to sit down with me and discuss the general feel and specific moments in our ceremony I wanted to capture. She also put put together a list of possible shots so my partner and I could decide what was important to us ahead of time; this was great jumpstart for us to discuss what we wanted and focus our planning. She offered a very reasonable set of packages and did not try to upsell us. She and her husband Kamran were a wonderful pair to work with on the day of the wedding, they were assertive enough to get wonderful shots and tell family where to move during the formal photo session, but were deeply respectful of the ceremoney and blended into the background when needed. Ann was friendly and punctual in all communication and her online gallery and services have been a godsend...it was so convenient to be able to hand cards to relatives and tell them to view and order prints from her gallery rather than attempting to coordinate photos among ourselves. Finally, I was so touched and amazed that Ann and Kamran went the extra mile and inquired after a great venue for our post-wedding couple photos. They found a beautiful antique store that was fun sit and smooch in and helped us relax and enjoy ourselves after the ceremony. On a personal note, I am shy about having my picture taken and Ann and Kamran were very warm and helped me feel lovely and relaxed on my wedding day. Most of all, Ann helped me feel like myself. The photos feel individual and thoughtful, not cookie-cutter or forced. I feel that meeting Ann and Kamran was one of the miracles of my wedding and I encourage anyone looking for a sincere, qualified, and unique professional to consider their studio.

Ann was a great photographer. She met with me and my husband twice before our wedding. The first time was to get to know us and our photography style. The second was to get a list of our "must have" photos at our wedding. During the wedding planning process Ann was extremely helpful, she always responded promptly to emails and phone calls. The day of the wedding she arrived early to take shots of me getting ready. I was running late (as most brides do) and she didn't rush me at all and she took her time to get some great shots. She really does a good job of not being intrusive. When taking our wedding photos, she did a great job of suggesting poses and making sure that the lighting was good. She was also very good at using the surroundings and making the most out of the photographs. At the reception she did a great job at snapping away and getting some really memorable photos without stopping us and making us pose. It made our night run very smoothly. All of the edits and touch ups for the photos were great and done really quickly. She created a wedding picture website for us that had a little preview and it was amazing, I couldn't wait to see the final photos. When we got our prints I was more than satisfied. I'm so happy to have amazing wedding photos that will be great memories for many years to come. I would strongly suggest her to any bride, especially a bride on a budget. She more than earned the money we paid her. I really couldn't be happier with her quality.
