Ann Arbor City Club

** Our wedding was on September 19th, 2026. We didn't use The Knot for our planning but I MADE an account so I could make sure everyone knows how amazing my experience was!** Having our wedding at the Ann Arbor City Club was an absolute dream come true! From 8 AM to 11 PM, we had full access to the venue, including beautiful spaces to get ready and cozy, quiet nooks that gave our guests a perfect break whenever they needed one. The food and service were truly out of this world. We coordinated both breakfast and lunch through the venue, which completely eliminated the stress of bringing outside food or leaving the property. At our tasting, everything was so delicious that we couldn't narrow down our choices, and they generously accommodated four entree options for our plated dinner. Their attention to allergies and dietary restrictions was sensational—designated meals were brought out covered and clearly labeled, making our guests feel safe, cared for, and included. The standard bar package was fantastic, offering more than enough variety to cover all our bases, and we were even able to add a custom signature drink. To top it off, the late-night snack (fresh pizza made on-site!) was a massive hit and came out at the perfect moment. The venue itself is a gorgeous, unbeatable value inside and out. Having the ceremony, reception, catering, bar, linens, and setup/teardown handled under one roof saved us immeasurable stress. They even have an on-site backup generator and a seamless plan to move everything indoors if needed, allowing you to plan your day with total peace of mind. The entire staff was exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional, ensuring the day ran without a single hitch so we could stay present and soak in every moment. A huge shoutout to Lindy, who is absolute magic! Working with her from day one is what sealed the deal for us. She put all our planning stress at ease, patiently answered our endless questions, and offered honest guidance to bring our exact vision to life. You can tell she genuinely cares about her couples and consistently goes above and beyond. Her flexibility was a complete lifesaver with Michigan's unpredictable weather. When morning rain threatened our outdoor pergola ceremony, we resigned ourselves at 11 AM to set up indoors. Right before the start time, the rain paused! Lindy, the groom, and our DJ made a quick game-time decision to go for it outside. The City Club team hustled like crazy—drying seats, moving items away from the mud, and resetting the space while I relaxed upstairs, completely oblivious. Walking down the aisle outdoors was the absolute best surprise. We could go on and on, but choosing the Ann Arbor City Club was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We are so deeply grateful for everyone’s hard work and cannot recommend them highly enough!

Our wedding at the Ann Arbor City Club was a dream! Lindy Romans was amazing to work with during the planning process. She's extremely organized and experienced. We knew from the moment we met her that our wedding would run smoothly in her hands. We had perfect weather for the outdoor ceremony under the pergola. The spot under the tree was gorgeous, and the cocktail hour space on the patio was also perfect. She made everything happen that we had hoped for, from a bubble machine at the cocktail hour for our nieces and nephews to a sparkler exit at the end of the night. After the wedding, we received a ton of compliments from our guests about Chef Alex for the tasty dinner. Wendy was also great to work with for a bridal luncheon the day before the wedding and again as the bartender during the wedding. The recommended vendors list was helpful when searching for a DJ and florist. We felt like family, the way our families and we were taken care of. Can't recommend this venue and staff enough!
