We made the incredibly bold decision in the middle of the pandemic to do a destination wedding in Hawaii, we truly had no idea how much would be thrown our way. The biggest of course being that about 10 months out our wedding photographer had to back out due to personal reasons. We went right away to do a search. I was looking for something really specific, because my wedding dress wasn’t white, and our decorations were fairly minimalistic so I was looking for a photographer who could really bring the colors. I called Anne and within minutes of submitting a request she called back, explained her process and we got a date on the calendar. She answered any crazy question I had right up until the day of the wedding, and then she was ABSOLUTE magic! The whole day I felt supported, like I was getting all the shots I had asked for. She delivered the photos so quickly after the wedding and even took a portrait of each of us individually which was SO special. She captured all of the perfect moments of our very special day, and I believe she did it with her whole heart in it. And because of that we have memories we can treasure forever! If you are thinking even for a moment to consider someone else, don’t. She’s the best, and worth every penny spent.

I cannot recommend Ann Ferguson highly enough for wedding photographs. She is an incredibly calm presence, which was greatly appreciated on a day that could easily feel less than calm. Neither of us love having our pictures taken but she made everyone feel so at ease that the whole process felt easy and painless. She also made a point of being incredibly quick with the shoot-- she took many pictures, but it didn't feel like we were standing around for hours having the same picture taken. She was incredibly helpful prior to the wedding, sending recommendations of vendors, venues, and even guides of restaurants and things to do on the Island-- she truly went above and beyond just providing information about photography on the day of! And the best part is the photos themselves-- they were INCREDIBLE. We got some sneak peaks within a day or two, which was so exciting (and really unexpected- I never imagined we'd get anything back that quickly!), and we got the full set within a month. I thought it would be easy to pick a couple of our favorites, but I cannot decide between them because there are just so many stunning photographs. I cannot recommend Ann enough- between her demeanor, customer service and her skill as a photographer, everything about the experience was PERFECT!

Ann was such an important part of making our wedding day so special. She is professional, experienced and overall, a wonderful person! She takes time to understand was the couple wants and helps to make the day run smoothly. Also, the finished photos are absolutely stunning!

We cannot recommend Ann enough! We are from San Francisco and planned our destination wedding on the Big Island, Hawaii. We were drawn to Ann's shooting style, so we booked her and a second photographer for our big day. Ann is an effective and timely communicator. We spoke on the phone and filled out a questionnaire so she had a good idea of what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. We met Ann the day of our wedding and she made us feel comfortable right away! She directed us well, staged amazing shots, and we had a ton of fun working with her! She delivered our pictures in a timely matter, and we were blown away! We can't thank her enough for capturing so many precious moments that we can relive over and over. We contacted Ann two months before our elopement, after our original wedding plans were canceled due to COVID-19 and we decided to elope on the Big Island with a few friends. She was really helpful right from the start with choosing a ceremony location, and stayed in touch as the wedding got closer. On the day of (which involved a hike down into Pololu Valley), Ann even picked up our lei on her way. As our only vendor, Ann gave us advice about everything throughout, and was super easy to work with day of. Most importantly, we have some truly beautiful pictures (and Ann delivered them within a couple weeks)! We recommend Ann highly!

Ann is amazing! She was very professional from start to finish and we were very comfortable working with her. She has a great eye for getting some amazing shots. Our family and friends absolutely love every photo she took. Highly recommend booking Ann for your photography needs!!

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer for our elopement in Hawaii. Ann was ready for an adventure, as our elopement location was a hike down in to Pololu Valley. She was pleasant the entire time and really made us feel comfortable. We loved how our pictures turned out! And when we realized that we hadn't downloaded the photos after the online gallery had closed, Ann was quick in helping us find a solution to download our photos. I would recommend Ann to anyone in need of a great and adventurous wedding photographer!

I cannot explain how professional and amazing Ann is. She took one look at my timeline and knew it was going to work for photos. She helped me rework my timeline and I can’t thank her enough for that. Less than a month after my wedding she delivered the MOST beautiful photos. They all look like they came from a magazine. I have hundreds to chose from for printing and I can’t because every single one is gorgeous. Thank you Ann!!

Where do I even start?? Ann was so amazing to work with, from the first time we spoke on the phone (when we were still deciding our photographer) I knew she would be the one to capture the most important day of my life. She was so easy going, listened and gave us her suggestions/advice. The days leading up to the big day, I changed my timeline a few times and she was so accommodating each time! My now husband and I knew we would be in good hands. Ann got all the angles and romantic shots, it really felt like we were living a dream of the days we were on Instagram looking at weddings in Hawaii. We had a pretty long day with her, from getting ready for our first look, Chinese tea ceremony, walking down the aisle, walking back in with alpacas, sunset pictures to partying all night with our guests. Nonetheless, I was so tired towards the end of the night, but Ann was still capturing everyone on the dance floor (we had some really good laughs when looking at the pictures) Most importantly, all the pictures were ready in only one month! We can't wait to show all our friends and family. Overall, as you can tell, we had an amazing experience with Ann and would definitely recommend!

What a great experience is was working with Ann! She is very prompt on replying to emails, gives great input on wedding day timelines, and we had all of our photos back on our one month anniversary!! Not to mention that our photos were breath taking, I am so glad we chose Ann to photograph our special day! Thank you!!

Anne was so lovely to work with! She didn’t make it feel awkward at all and our photos were beautiful! As an amateur photographer I know how damanding and time consuming editing can be. That’s why I was so surprised and thrilled that after promising that my photos would be ready in two weeks, which is already pretty quick, she got them done in 3 days!!! Amazing! I have never had my photos returned to me so quickly. I can’t wait to work with her again!

This review is long overdue and well-deserved. We hired Ann to photograph our engagement shoot in Waipio Valley and wedding at the Sheraton Keauhou. In addition to being absolute sweetheart, Ann was always responsive, adaptable, reliable, and kind. Ann is supremely talented, and we could not possibly be happier with her work. We have received so many compliments on our wedding photographs and will cherish them for many years to come. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
