Ann was the perfect fit to officiate our wedding! She wrote the entire ceremony for us and helped tweak it to really fit us. We had a non-religious ceremony and she was able to focus on the themes in our relationship that are important to us instead. She did a fantastic job on wedding day and has such a calming demeanor that's perfect for the role. The whole process was so easy with Ann and we're so glad we got to work with her and really enjoyed her presence on wedding day. Highly recommend!
Ann was such a delight to work with! My husband and I went very non traditional and non religious with our ceremony and got married with a very small group of people in the North Cascades in Washington. Ann did an amazing job with making our ceremony feel cohesive and not awkward with how small our group was. She was very communicative and flexible considering we had to make a lot of decisions last minute with our locations. All of our friends and family talked about how amazing she did and how kind she is. I could not recommend Ann enough to anyone in the PNW/Washington area looking for their perfect officiant!

A little about me: I grew up outside of Philadelphia playing the violin at weddings. I loved watching couples share their love and commit to loving one another in front of their village, their biological and chosen family. A few years later, I went to graduate school at Yale University and studied theology to train to become a pastor. When I graduated, I moved to Seattle, Washington, to serve a progressive and inclusive United Methodist Church. The first wedding I officiated was for my college best friend and her British fiancé. It was a beautiful wedding filled with ritual and meaning. Through my role as a pastor, I had the opportunity to officiate the weddings of many couples. I worked closely with each couple to create a personal and meaningful ceremony that looked and felt just as they envisioned.
I'm passionate about this work - bearing witness to love and cultivating rituals and ceremonies - and am looking forward to knowing more about you and your special day. I am committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment and service for all clients and individuals regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, age, race, color, religion, spirituality, ethnicity, or disability. In my free time, you can find me at the dog park with my 3 year old labradoodle, Coco, spending time with my 1 year old niece, or watching the latest episode of Last Week Tonight!
