About this vendor
My name is Anna Hogan. I was born and raised in Poland, but after meeting the love of my life and a traveling partner I settled in California. I traveled over 30 countries worldwide, was published in various magazines, wrote a book (in polish), published that too :), broke a Guinness World Record... I guess not only Red-bull gives you wings...love does that even better. :)
After living for a few years in a beautiful San Francisco Bay Area I decided to become a wedding photographer, because what is a better way to combine a love for photography, exploring new cool places/venues around California while witnessing the love stories.
Now I live in Castro Valley, CA on a small ranch with my family, dogs, and goats. I captured hundreds of love stories over the years and I can't wait to hear about yours :)

me out fantastic, and she made us feel like supermodels! Anna showed up on time for both the engagement session and the wedding day ready to go. Even our guests had many compliments on how awesome she is. We can't wait to get our photos back! We highly recommend and would hire her again!
The best decision I made while planning my wedding was hiring Anna to be our wedding photographer. I interviewed over a dozen people and immediately knew we had to hire her, based ...
on her very talented portfolio, her warm personality and reasonable cost. She was everything my husband and I hoped she would be: reliable/punctual, kind and easy to work with, and able to capture the magic of our special day in every single photograph.
All of the other reviews are right...Anna is a true master when it comes to getting the lighting just right in every shot, and she doesn't miss any important details. Anna also makes everyone around her feel completely at ease, resulting in natural looking yet breathtaking images.
We were so impressed with Anna that we referred her to several friends and she captured their special days just as beautifully. More recently Anna graciously agreed to do a maternity as well as a newborn baby shoot for our twins, and once again, we received gorgeous galleries of images. We feel so lucky that we can re-live these precious moments through her photographs. Thank you so much, Anna!
I had Anna take my engagement and wedding photos. After looking through her portfolio I knew I liked her style. For the engagement shoot in San Francisco, she knew so many great hi...
dden spots and the best time of day to take photos there. She also had the idea of starting at our apartment and took photos to get us used to the camera. I am so glad we did that because it's fun to look back at since we no longer live there.
For wedding day, Anna and one other photographer came and captured every detail. My family was impressed at how efficiently they wrangled everyone together for family portraits! They were friendly the whole time and captured every moment, inside and outside, just perfectly!

any crises, including an issue with a dress. We recently got our photos back and she captured some amazing moments and facial expressions, and I'm so happy that I have them all. Thank you, Anna!

y easy going and her personality meshed with ours really well, which just made taking the pictures so easy and fun. It also resulted in some really great shots of us being goofy and silly with each other, these ended up being some of my favorite shots.
Her sessions are reasonably priced and she releases all of the images to you after she has touched them up. This was close to 200 photos for each session. I still can't stop looking through them.
Anna did our engagement pictures and wedding pictures and we could not be happier with her work! She is so creative, calm, and fun to work with. From the first time we met Anna w...
e were looking forward to working with her and now that the wedding is over we're trying to come up with another occasion to hire her! She did a full walk-through of the church and reception venues about a month before the wedding and we worked together to come up with a detailed schedule for photos on the day of. On our wedding day she took pictures for 10.5 hours plus a few hours of set-up and take-down and she was great the whole time. She is also fearless and will be sure to get the best shots, even if it means jumping in front of cable cars to stop them or holding traffic on top of Nob Hill!
