the Pittsburgh bridge but never followed through. She said our “money” shot would be our terrace shot but that never happened either. She was very expensive, almost 5k. And we had to constantly ask her for updates. She never reached out to us. We were married in August and we didn’t get our prints in time for Christmas so we couldn’t give them out for gifts! It took a YEAR for us to get our wedding album. We caught her in so many lies. Once she had our money she basically ran. She pressured my wife to give her a good review (my wife felt she had to give a good review to get our wedding ). My wife wanted to change it but knot never responded to her request to change her review.

On our first consult call, Anna asked me questions about my business that I never thought to ask, and each answer helped me realize what I wanted my brand to be, and where I saw it heading. She connected me with the perfect studio to rent for the shoot, brainstormed personal items to bring for the design, and consulted on wardrobe. Anytime I had a question, she answered right away. Anna not only 'got' my vision, she made it even better. I'm a super type-A person, and her questions and outside the box thinking drew out so much creativity in me! The vision became bigger than I ever saw for myself. The day of the shoot, watching her work was so fascinating. She 'saw' things I didn't, and made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We got so many different scenes and outfits, and the details (omg the details!) are countless. I was so inspired after the shoot, I bought my new business domain that night! Anna just shared a few sneak peeks, and I am speechless. The light, authenticity, and personality in the photos are exactly what I want my brand to be. I cannot WAIT to build my new website and have Anna to thank for sparking my messaging. If you are a small business owner looking to start or revamp your brand, Anna is your gal!

I shared the gallery with several friends and they all remarked on how incredible my photographer was. She is also very sweet. I was an out of town bride and I had a blast talking to her on the phone. Also, her demeanor put me quickly at ease the day of my wedding, which is essential because I was so nervous. ther reasons, she was unable to shoot our wedding. At first I was panicking until she said that she already reached out to someone who was available our date and would cover (enter Anna Laero). When looking Anna up on Instagram, her photos were a COMPLETE DREAM! I felt like I hit the jackpot. The transition was unbelievably smooth and Anna and I hit it off immediately. From our first phone call, I felt like we were lifelong friends, catching up after not hearing from each other for a few years. She was so easy to talk to and had so many great ideas for our engagement photos. She was also interested in my clothing choice for both my fiancé and myself. I was at Anthropologie sending her pictures saying, "what do you think about this," like she was my best friend. And she didn't think it was strange at all. Cue engagement photo time - We brought our "angel" of a dog. Which went totally different than I thought in my head... It was a nightmare. Anna was a saint and was so patient, even as I was gritting my teeth as my dog was barking while people were in the park for a peaceful yoga session. Yikes. Let's just say that through all the gritting, she got thee most beautiful photos. How? She's a miracle worker. That's how. Cue the day of the wedding - Anna and her team were amazing. They knew exactly what to do, wasting no time dwelling or thinking what should come next. And from the previews we have received, the photos are a complete DREAM. As I knew they would be. I'm so thankful that things worked out the way they did and I had the opportunity to have Anna part of our special day. If you are lucky and Anna is available for the date you are looking for, JUMP ON THE OPPORTUNITY. Immediately. <3

reat advice. I was never stressed about posing or how to act in front of the camera because Anna gave us lots of helpful instructions the whole time. We also LOVE our wedding photos! They truly capture the love between my husband and I. I can’t stop looking through them all, they are just perfect. I absolutely love Anna, and I would certainly recommend hiring her!

She is so sweet and humble and every dream we had for our wedding day - she said was exactly her style. Leading up to the shoot, I was just a bundle of nerves because I wasn’t sure if I could look good or if it would come together the way I envisioned it in my head and I was very open about that with Anna going into it. Despite my numerous mini panic attacks, she heard me out and was able to take my fears and debunk them and reassured me that all would be well. And truly, it was! I’ve worked with just a handful of other photographers when it comes to personal portraits, but Anna has been by far the best. Her work with film photography has resulted in great directing skills which is so important in terms of getting the right shot when you have limited frames. I was thrilled with nearly every shot that came back and I can’t tell you how rare that is— usually with other photographers it’s hundreds of shots and I’m happy with a few of them and I thought that was standard but now after working with Anna I realized that doesn’t have to be the case! It really just allowed me to let go and let Anna do what she’s skilled at and not have to worry about micromanaging anything and the proof is in the stunning photos that people will not stop messaging me about!!! I am so grateful for her patience with me in this process, for her creative input and for feeling truly seen through her lens. It’s definitely not easy to put trust in other people to try and capture exactly what you’re looking for, but Anna is the person worthy of that trust. Thank you so much!

ng! She did our engagement photos in Frick Park- and they were stunning! Anyone who sees our pictures on the wall just gasps at the originality. Our wedding photos were taken along the railroad tracks in Oakmont and at The Point in Pittsburgh. Everything was casual and “just us.” Anna isn’t your typical photographer. She doesn’t do the Pinterest-type pictures. Anna captures you and your significant other at your very soul. She has a knack of seeing your love and just capturing it just perfectly on film. If you want those cliche pictures that EVERYONE has, find someone else. But if you want true art, you need Anna.
