If you're looking for heartfelt, beautiful photos -- hire Anna. What I love most about my wedding gallery is the not obviously over-posed photos. Anna was able to capture special moments between me and everyone I love most in this world. She was also able to make us look models in our engagement photos, even though my now husband (yay!) and I are the two most awkward people on planet earth. In the end, Anna Lowe was recommended to us by another photographer who could not do our wedding date and it was fated from the first conversation. We met with her in Washington, D.C. for an engagement photoshoot (which I highly recommend you do with your photographer, even you already have a session done). We got to know her and she got to know us before the actual day of the wedding. She was incredibly sweet. Anna had such marvelous ideas about how to make the most of where we were, such a true artist! She made our pictures truly magnificent and these are among our absolute favorite pictures of my husband and I. During our work on the wedding, she was extremely conscientious about what we as a couple wanted to capture on our special day. We made a timeline together and she magically accommodated all that we wanted to do. We truly felt as though a friend was photographing our wedding and knew us well enough to capture all the moments we cherish. And she did just that. They pictures were so wonderful! Anna Lowe was all we could wish for in a wedding photographer and we would recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for a caring artist to capture their love.

past August and I’m still obsessing over our entire album! Anna has a way of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which was something that I worried about. I can honestly say that my face hurt by the end of our session because I was smiling so much! Anna captured our personality and relationship down to a T! Even though our wedding isn’t until August 7th she has already sent over our day of schedule, which I’m so thankful for because it’s helped me get even more organized. I’m so beyond grateful for Anna, for not only being our wedding photographer but also being someone that has been so helpful every step of the way!

She makes you feel so comfortable when she’s photographing you. My fiancé and I felt like we were among a true friend and we laughed so hardened even cried some happy tears throughout our session with her. She captured every sweet candid moment that we were hoping for. Some of my favorite moments when she did our engagement session was when she asked us questions to answer while we looked at one another like “what makes him/her so special to you? What do you look forward to the most about spending the rest of your life with him/her?” She also played the song we plan to have our first dance to, and we danced while she captured that moment. It was such an amazing, emotional, and lovely day. I can’t say enough positive things about Anna. I will cherish these photos forever!
