Anna is an outstanding photographer! First she worked with us when we needed to reschedule our wedding 3 times and was so nice throughout the whole process. She also travelled all around the city with us to take the most perfect engagement photos! Our wedding photos are absolutely perfect we can't even decide which ones to hang! Anna was able to efficiently take photos of all of our family members, had us do different photos/poses, and got some perfect candid photos of us. All of our photos are stunning from engagement to wedding and the editing is perfect. We would absolutely recommend Anna to anyone and everyone!

Anna is AMAZING! She goes through all of the packages and explains everything. Anna calls the week of wedding to finalize all the details and asks a ton of questions so that day of she has a plan and flow. She captures all of the little details and moments that you cherish for a lifetime. She has a very quick turnaround also with pictures and responses.

If you are thinking about hiring Anna Thielen Photography, DO IT! My husband and I's original destination wedding plans got cancelled due to COVID. We got married in an intimate ceremony with our immediate families only and planned a large celebrate (about 175 people in attendance) in six weeks when everything started opening up. Anna was so quick to reply and although we hired her last minute, it felt like I had known her for years! The photographer from the event, Felicia, called me multiple times before the party to make sure she had a list of all the specific shots we wanted to make sure to get. She made getting all the people together for the different photos look easy! Most importantly, the photos came back extremely fast. It was soooo fun looking at all the photos from the church blessing, to the action shots on the dance floor. I cannot say enough, hire them, you will not be disappointed!

Anna is such an incredible photographer. She has a real eye for detail that produces outstanding photos. She is such a pleasure to work with and I'd recommend her to anyone.

Anna is absolutely amazing!!! We had the pleasure of working with her for both our engagement shoot and on the wedding day and she is ON IT! Not only did she send a couple photos literally that night (for both engagement and wedding day) but she edited the remaining photos and got them back to us within 2 weeks! She is very professional and really pays attention to detail! We definitely plan on continuing to work with her when we start a family!

Anna was recommended to us by a friend, and I'm definitely glad we took her recommendation!!! When we first met with Anna, she showed us her work and I was blown away! And, what also got my attention was the fact that she wasn't forcing us to buy a bunch of stuff and there weren't any hidden fees, like with the other photographers we met with. Anna was upfront and honest about the packages and full price for each, and let us decide on what was best for us...instead of forcing us to buy the most elaborate and expensive. My husband and I really appreciated this! I was totally sold on having Anna be our photographer right away, but we took a few days to think about it. In a few days when we did contact Anna to let her know we wanted to have her be our photographer, she told us that another couple booked her a few hours before. But, she told us that her assistant Felicia could do our engagement and wedding pictures, and that she would still be the one editing them. Felicia was soo amazing!!! She did an excellent job on both our engagement and wedding photos, and was super helpful coming up with a Plan B when it decided to rain on our wedding day. She definitely kept me from becoming bridezilla and going into panic mode when we couldn't take our pictures outside in the spots we wanted. The spots she picked were amazing and the pictures turned out perfect! And, when the rain stopped during our reception, she found us and took us outside to take pictures in some of our selected spots...so we still got our outside pics after all. And, Felicia and Anna were soo quick to get us our pictures...when we got back from our honeymoon 10 days after the wedding, the flash drive with all our pictures was waiting in our mailbox! I can't say enough good things about these two ladies! Anyone looking for a wedding photographer should definitely contact them...you won't be disappointed, trust me!!!

I couldn't be happier with Anna and her photos. When I first saw Anna's pictures, I saw a quality that I hadn't seen anywhere else and knew she was the photographer for me. I still don't quite know what it is, but her skills, creativity, and abilities as a photographer shine through her pictures, which are just beyond amazing. She takes control right away and uses her time wisely and effectively. She knows when to take those great shots that you aren't even aware are happening, along with making the typical "staged" photos look as natural as can be - from the wedding party, to the guests, to the ambiance, she was on top of everything. You can also tell she listens to what you are looking for (if you have suggestions) and gets to know you well enough to get the shots you want. She also had a really fast turn around time for getting the pictures to you. I am so happy that I get to look back at my wedding through her lens, as she captured everything perfectly. I could not recommend her enough.

My husband and I are very happy we chose Anna to capture our wedding day memories. Her work is absolutely beautiful and we truly enjoyed going through all the photos she captured to help us relive our wedding day. Anna captures all the moments of your day, but especially the ones you don’t even remember happening. We truly enjoyed how much fun Anna was to work with, her creativity, and how Anna truly wanted to get to know us. We were very comfortable with her and loved how she took interest in our big day and our daily life. Anna also captured our engagement photos that we used for our save the dates. Anna is an incredible photographer. From start to finish everything was great. Her familiarity with CD&Me made for an easy experience. She knew where all the best pictures would be and when. The results were stunning.

Anna is a dream to work with! She started with our engagement shoot and the photos were so amazing. She is incredibly flexible and willing to accommodate. We included our kids in our engagement session and the family memories that she created will be enjoyed for a lifetime. I have not gotten my full file back with all my images but she put out a sneak peak of the images the following day and they are so beautiful. She uses the light and surrounding to really frame the photo and has really delivered on such an important date. I also really like that her packages are flexible. I was not looking to get a photo album with my pictures but instead just wanted all the edited files. She has an option to accommodate this unlike many of the large companies that require you buy an album. I will say in my initial meeting she brought along some of her albums and they are truly beautiful for anyone who is looking to buy one. I highly recommend Anna if you are looking for a reasonably priced photographer that delivers high quality photos. When the day is done, all you will have left are your photos and your memories so it is important that you have a photographer that not only meets expectations but exceeds them, Anna does this!

OMG Anna is wonderful!!!!! I booked her for my engagements photo and my wedding which was on June 25, 2017. She is amazing . she made sure our photos came out great. Telling people to remove sunglasses, straighten their necklace , ect. My pictures came out beautiful. She made sure we had some fun pictures as well. I got my pictures back at a reasonable time. I'm so grateful we chose Anna Thielen Photography to capture our December 2016 wedding. When booking, my priorities were balancing quality and budget and also working with someone where we were guaranteed to know who our photographer was before the week of our wedding (versus some of the larger photography companies who assign you someone last minute). I was really impressed by Anna's quality of work and down to earth style. Her prices were very reasonable compared to other photographers at her caliber. I'm really grateful Anna offers a complementary engagement session because this was a great way to get to know her before our wedding day. Leading up to our wedding day, Anna was easy to reach via email and phone to discuss some questions I had leading up to our wedding day. Anna was willing to take a list of "must take photos" that we had, and ensured those all were captured. On the day of the wedding, Anna was so poised, professional, organized and helpful. She was a fount of photo ideas to capture every moment without being intrusive. We had a large 200+ wedding, and she was so patient as we took extended family pictures. I am touched by how kind Anna was to our big crazy families! She was in frequent communication with our parents and wedding party to ensure everything was being captured. As a December bride, I was nervous about how the weather and limited daylight might affect my picture opportunities. My husband and I decided to do a first look, and Anna beautifully set-up and captured those precious moments. Also, we were fortunate to have some beautiful winter weather that day. As my husband and I were busy visiting and dancing during our reception, Anna pulled us outside at the opportune moment for some nighttime silhouette photos as it was snowing. Anna did a fantastic job capturing every little aspect of my wedding day. She is very easy to work with and listens to what you want and do not want for your wedding day. Anna photographed our wedding and she was amazing! Kept us all on track and made sure to get all the photos we wanted. She was even willing to work with us and our animals which made for beautiful pictures and a day we will never forget!
