Anne Fitzgerald Makeup Artistry is a wedding makeup service based in Gales Ferry, CT.
I believe in the fine art of beauty. My style is refined elegance, allowing your own natural beauty and features to take precedence. I create a bespoke look based on your vision and my experience as a makeup artist since 2010. I am a licensed esthetician and will guide your skin to optimum radiance.
I provide the luxury of a massaging touch, gently applying makeup and skincare so you will enjoy the experience. I use luxury and professional makeup formulas, with the softest brushes, and strict cleanliness.
In addition, I have an artist’s eye, having been trained as a fine artist, and provide a seamlessly blended style, perfect in photography and in person.
For your convenience, I have a private studio in Gales Ferry for your wedding makeup trial. At your trial we will explore what is best based on your skin type and texture, your undertones, your preferred coverage and finish of makeup, and your favored colors. My makeup application rate includes choice of traditional or airbrush foundation, and false lash application if desired.
For the wedding day, whether you are in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Block Island, Massachusetts, or beyond, I and my hairstylist allow you to be where it is most comfortable. In addition, I provide beauty planning guidance for a smooth wedding morning, with a beauty services timeline coordinated with your photographer and wedding planner. You can be assured your wedding beauty schedule will be stress-free and on time.
Most of all, I provide a calm and confident presence that allows you to relax and know we will bring out your finest beauty.

I struggle to put into words just how special and talented Anne is! Working with her throughout the wedding process was such an joy and I felt incredibly lucky to have found her. From the amazing job she did on my makeup and my bridesmaids makeup to her calm and patient demeanor, I was so lucky to have found her. Not only did she make me feel beautiful but checked in on me throughout the day and made sure I was happy. I felt like I made a true friend in Anne. I truly cannot recommend her enough! Her work speaks for itself.

Anne was an absolute joy to work with for my wedding! She was always kind, helpful, very professional, and her work was fantastic, on not only myself but the moms and bridal party as well. I feel she went above and beyond to ensure I looked and felt my best- on both my engagement photos (which happened to be our bridal trial) and my big day. I'm so glad I hired her and would absolutely recommend her!

Anne and her team were incredibly great to work with! My wedding was put together quickly, and Anne and Cori could not have been more flexible in accommodating me for my hair and makeup trials on Father’s Day! I am so thankful I was able to work with them, I was assured that they would be able to execute my vision for a classic elegant bridal look and they delivered! Anne made me feel so relaxed and confident, keeping me calm the entire morning as little things popped up! I felt so beautiful and am appreciative of their support!

I feel so lucky to have been able to hire Anne to provide makeup services for my wedding day. Anne is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She and I worked together to create a bridal look that was timeless but still felt authentic. She also provided makeup services for my bridesmaids and my mom. Anne did my and other bridesmaids makeup for my wedding and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I normally don’t get my makeup done but Anne made me feel super comfortable the whole time while we talked about art and design. My makeup stayed on the whole day through lots of hugs, pictures, wind, dancing and happy tears, and my bridesmaids all loved how theirs turned out as well. I don't know where to start! From the time I met Anne at my daughter's trial I knew she was the perfect fit for my daughter's big day!! The day of her wedding Anne drove well over an hour to our venue and even arrived early. Our hairdresser was an hour and a half late and no way could finish in time. Anne reached out and saved the day!!! She found us a hairdresser who was phenomenal!!!!! We owe everything to her! Her makeup made all of us look so incredible natural! Love Anne!!! I will forever think of her as our angel that day!

I had the pleasure of meeting Anne when my oldest daughter got married. She was amazing. Being mother of the bride, I was pleasantly surprised that my make up was light and didn’t feel caked on at all. She asked my opinion on things and was very open. We had a larger wedding party and she had no problem finishing their make up as well as giving my daughter all the attention she needed. I loved her work so much that when my youngest was married we called Anne! The makeup lasted all through the wedding and a night of dancing. I highly recommend her.

I can't say enough good things about Anne. Initially meeting her through my friend's wedding last year as a member of a bridal party, I immediately knew I wanted to hire Anne for my wedding this August. I've had my makeup done countless times, but never as lovely and sophisticated as Anne's approach.
On my wedding day, I've never felt more beautiful. Our makeup was incredibly natural and especially long lasting, even during the humidity, rain, and TONS of dancing. Anne tailored each look to my bridal party, taking detailed notes in the trial and touching base often before the wedding. Each touchpoint was so appreciated, she is committed to providing the best service and experience to her clients.
Anne brings calmness, professionalism, and especially kindness. (My family/bridal party absolutely loved her!) She also goes the extra mile. When my hairstylist was over an hour and a half late, Anne came to the rescue. She immediately jumped into action to help, something that she did without hesitation and with so much generosity and thoughtfulness. Sending out an SOS to a Facebook group, Anne found an alternative hair stylist in under an hour while also staying on schedule. This is something I will be forever grateful for. I will always remember that morning with a smile, I wouldn't have changed a thing...It was perfect thanks to Anne.

Anne is amazing!!! I had never had my makeup professionally done before and I was considering doing my own makeup for my wedding day. I booked a makeup trial with Anne for the day of my engagement photoshoot and was BLOWN away with how beautiful my makeup looked. Anne is an artist and truly takes her time to make an experience for whoever is in her makeup chair. On the day of the wedding, she was professional and brought a second makeup artist to ensure that myself, my 6 bridesmaids, mom, aunt, and flower girl were done at the time outlined on our timeline. She listened to my and my bridal party's requests about what we all wanted for our makeup and made everyone look and feel truly beautiful. We cannot say enough about how talented of a makeup artist Anne is. She made us (the brides) and our bridal party feel like a million dollars. You can tell that she is passionate about what she does. She was very receptive to our needs. As people who don’t tend to wear make up often, she guided us through the process and eased any stress we may have had. We would hire Anne again and again!

Anne did a fabulous job the day of my wedding. She was calm, professional, personable and we all had fun getting ready. She worked with my hairdresser, wedding party and room/guest shuffling around us. She was also great during my make up trial prior to the wedding - she spent lots of time with me till we got it right! Anne was fantastic! I was in desperate need for a make up artist for my wedding shoot and I honest to God only wish I found her sooner to do my make up for my big deal- she was AMAZING. Completely talented and my make up was exactly how I wanted it to be. If you are on the fence, don’t be! I would just book with her!

Anne was absolutely amazing! Her attention to detail, how the lighting would hit my makeup, any shadowing she saw, how the eye shadow needed to be lightened based on my eye shape, etc. Her professionalism and care were above and beyond! I highly recommend!!

Anne was amazing and flexible! I had to make some changes throughout the wedding process and she made it so easy. She took her time with my makeup and at no time did I feel rushed or pressed for time with the getting ready process. All my bridesmaids, MOB, and flower girls, were so happy!
