for our June 2025 wedding. Unfortunately, just 4 months before our wedding, our venue went bankrupt and canceled our event without a refund. As stressful as this was trying to scramble to find an alternative location and date, Anne was incredibly gracious and accommodating. She went out of her way to provide support and work with our possible alternative dates even though she books up months ahead of time. Although we ultimately decided to postpone our wedding and I didn’t get to use her services in the end, I have no hesitation in recommending Anne to other brides. Her responsiveness and kindness were wonderful. If you’re looking for a HMUA who genuinely cares about making your day as special as possible and will roll with the punches, you can't go wrong with Anne!

was unable to have a traditional consultation and trial. I don’t normally style my hair or wear a ton of makeup, and when I’ve had makeup done in the past I felt very unlike myself. To say I was nervous about not having a trial ahead of the wedding is an understatement, but Anne made me feel so heard and comfortable through the entire process- not only that, but she KILLED IT! She is extremely thorough getting to know what you want/don’t want and makes it come to life. The day of my wedding of course was raining, so I asked her to make my makeup and hair as waterproof as she could. When I tell you my makeup looked exactly the same at the end of the night as it did sitting in her chair, I am not exaggerating. If you are looking for a fantastic hair and makeup artist, book Anne without hesitation!

I could not be happier with how everything turned out on my day! I loved everything about the makeup she used, it never felt heavy or cakey on my face. Something to note too, is she was so gracious about traveling to my Airbnb, getting to me at 5am, and my makeup & hair lasting literally ALL day until I got home at midnight after a long day that included a couple hour hike!! It made my getting ready process super easy and relaxed. I hiked, cried, sweated and my hair and makeup looked gorgeous until the end of the day. They did a wonderful job with the hair and makeup for my family and bridal party as well, they were all so happy with the results! I have super thin hair and Anne was useful in helping me find extensions and a hairstyle that works best with them. I felt like she really took the time to get to know me and understand the look I was going for. On wedding day, Beth and Marta showed up on time, made everyone look fantastic, and kept us on schedule (and we had a pretty tight schedule to work with!). My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup, and I felt absolutely stunning. The communication leading up to the event was the only real issue. I was originally informed that they would reach out to schedule my trial, but didn't hear anything until a few weeks before the wedding, so I ended up scrambling to schedule the trial later than I would have liked. There was also some confusion about the venue and some back-and-forth with Anne to make sure we were on the same page. However, Anne was very apologetic and got it cleared up immediately once we identified the issue, so everything worked out just fine! I would still 100% recommend Anne and her team for wedding styling--they are all great people and true artists who will make you look like the very best version of yourself!

all lovely! They helped me articulate my vision of what I wanted, and were receptive to tweaks to both my hair and makeup after my trial. I loved how both my hair and makeup turned out. My makeup lasted perfectly throughout the night, and my hair held up really well considering that it was misting early in the day, which my hair does not like. My bridesmaids commented that in other weddings they have been in, the hair and makeup is done well for the bride, but is done half-heartedly for bridesmaids, and that this was the first time they actually liked their hair and makeup. The touch up kits were also such a wonderful and unique touch! Highly recommend working with Anne and her team!

On top of that, every person got a touch-up kit with their lip color and blotting papers. This might not seem like much, but considering I had been in my friends wedding just a few weeks prior and she was told by her makeup artist to buy her lip color at CVS for touchups, the attention to the little things was really appreciated! However, I have to take off one star simply due to the delay in communication leading up to scheduling my trial and to my wedding day. Everything was ultimately worked out, but because of wording in previous emails (mainly "we will reach out in a few weeks to schedule your trial", and then not hearing from anyone for 3 months) set up expectations for communication and timing that were not ultimately met and created unnecessary stress when I thought that I had missed my window to schedule a trial. As I think with a lot of wedding vendors, the amount of jobs that were booked for 2022 was slightly too much for the admin support that ATMH had on hand. I'd expect this to be rectified for 2023.

It was the best decision I could have made. Communicating with Anne was seamless and she is so kind. She answered all my questions and was always clear on what was needed to make things go smoothly, which I deeply appreciated. Liz and Kirsten are truly phenomenal. Most of my bridesmaids don’t wear a lot of makeup so they were a bit worried going into it. They wanted to feel comfortable in their makeup and hair. And Liz hit it out of the ballpark. She has an incredible way of listening, making you comfortable, and helps you look like a dream. She is a makeup goddess. Kirsten is a hair wizard in the best way. I don’t think there’s a style this woman can’t do and damn is she great at it. Anne’s team made everyone look radiant, stunning and like the best versions of themselves. My bridesmaids couldn’t stop gushing about how great they felt and looked. Furthermore, I felt gorgeous on my wedding day and it’s because Anne and her team are truly remarkable. I cannot thank them enough. Do yourself a favor and book her now. It will be one of the best decisions you make and worth every cent.

They made use of the hotel suite well and kept to our schedule of 9 people well. Every one of my bridesmaids and moms loved their hair and makeup. I absolutely LOVED my makeup…a more natural but glowing look…and my long curled extensions. The whole look lasted all night long…even in 96 degree temps! We are all so happy to have chosen Anne and her team and have nothing but great feedback to pass on!

From our initial consultation, to my trial session, and finally our wedding day Anne was quick to answer all of my beauty related questions and gave great advice on hair extension options to add volume and helped me reach my dream wedding hair style. She also referred me to her STELLAR teammate Kirsten who helped bring life and definition to my once dull/drab hair color. Anne was very patient with us as we continued to add more styling services for members of our wedding party or family, and she helped us rework our timeline when we had to change our ceremony plans completely just 2 weeks before our big day!! Anne and her entire team are absolutely fantastic and I look forward to working with then more in the future!

Beauty Timeline!!). Beth did my makeup and totally nailed it. I wear very minimal makeup and don’t have the terminology to explain what I want. She was able to ask the right questions to get the exact results that I wanted. After my trail run, I asked for a few minor adjustments, and she was able to execute perfectly on the day of. Kirsten did my hair and it was so classic and perfect. She gave me the exact type of curls and was able to highlight my hair piece perfectly. I will also add that the team did hair and makeup for a few friends and family members. I have been in a few weddings where the services for bridesmaids were very half baked. This was not the case for Anne Timss AT ALL--the service was absolutely worth the cost. They did full makeup on everyone (including fake lashes) and each of my bridesmaids got a little kit to help make everything last through the day.

With how the year has been, she unfortunately got Covid but without any hesitation, she had her team fill in who did equally a great job! She had backup help immediately and knew how to troubleshoot. We first reached out to Anne and her team in January for our October wedding; at that time our plan was to have Anne styling at least five in our party. Within a couple of days that number was reduced to three, and thankfully Anne and her team were so gracious about those backing out. It was a month or so later that we had to make the hard decision to not have guests at our wedding. Anne and her team were again so gracious and loving with yet another change to the plan; but we also through another wrench in by changing the location. Anne and her team were so supportive through each of these changes, reminding us that it was our big day, and they were there to help make it into our dream. So, though I had booked Anne for my hair and makeup, you can see that she and her team went well beyond just those services. That is to say nothing on how Anne made me look absolutely STUNNING for my wedding day. My hair and makeup lasted the entire day, even during our break where I took a nap and later while I went frolicking through the fields. For the first half of my day, I decided to wear a tiara, Anne placed it so beautifully and made sure that it could be easily removed later on in the day, and even gave me an emergency kit filled with goodies and the tube of lipstick we chose for my lip. Overall, I cannot praise Anne and her team enough. They helped me to remember that it was my wedding day and were there to help and provide support through each hiccup that we went through.

I was obsessed with the makeup! Really helped start the day on such a positive step. While I am sad for brides she will no longer be doing traditional weddings, do yourself a favor and book her for your wedding!

my last minute changes without any hesitation. She was very easy to talk to during our session and perfectly executed exactly what I wanted for my "makeup but no makeup" look! My hair and makeup lasted 10+ hours through a whole day of walking and hiking from hot to cold weather (which was amazing because makeup never stays on my face for longer than a couple of hours) and my normally flat hair had volume, was bouncy, and she blended my extension row in seamlessly. My main concern was not wanting to look overdone or not look like myself on my wedding day and Anne knocked it out of the park!

She's a breeze to talk with, and let's face it, you're face to face for awhile so communication is also key to a successful pairing, and knowledgable about all topics. r the wedding trial hair and makeup, Jessica and Anne not only didn’t listen to what I wanted but also dismissed what I wanted. The hairstyle didn’t last past 45 minutes. The braid was falling apart and looked messy. For makeup, I really wanted contouring on my nose and was told I shouldn’t contour it and she didn’t. She never used primers, setting sprays, or any products which help makeup look great and last all day. When I let them know the hairstyle didn’t last past 45 minutes, they expected me to pay $100 for a new hair trial. I was told that Anne had no time for a new makeup trial. The contract date was incorrect by a month. When I asked Anne to please correct the contract date, she stated by email that she would fix it when she returned from a trip. Several days after her return, the contract date had not been fixed. For all of these reasons, I terminated the contract by email and sent a certified letter. She responded to the termination of contract by email promptly and professionally.

While we did no trial run prior to my wedding day, I felt comfortable and beautiful, and my hair and makeup did not budge through snow, rain, wind, tears, and a mid-day nap (adventure elopments are exhausting fun). She understood exactly what I wanted and was so much fun to hang out with super early in the morning. Anne is worth the money, makes everything super easy, and is just a lovely human being. Our wedding day could not have gone any smoother. My hair and makeup was exceptional that day! I wanted an elevated natural glam version of myself and Anne (and her team!) definitely delivered. The entire bridal party was completely in love with their HMU that day, and it lasted throughout the whole night! I loved that she had a team of five to do our HMU, it created efficiency so much so that we were done early and had time for touch ups and even last minute hair requests by grandma.
