Definitely hire Anne for your adventure elopement hair and makeup!! She was a joy to work. She is really the best of the best in Washington for hiking elopements. She also has a ton of experience in the industry and knows exactly what she's doing. She came to my cabin the morning of my elopement and did my hair and makeup for my wedding day. It made my getting ready process super easy and relaxed. I hiked, cried, sweated and my hair and makeup looked gorgeous until the end of the day. Anne Timss and her team did the most fantastic job with my hair and makeup. I had the pleasure of working with Beth and Heather on my wedding day and not only did they do an incredible job but they had the best attitudes and brought exactly the kind of energy you want around you as you start off your big day. My hair and makeup held up amazingly through the a long day of moving and dancing. They did a wonderful job with the hair and makeup for my family and bridal party as well, they were all so happy with the results! From booking, Anne was super friendly and responsive to all of my questions and provided tons of helpful information about how to best prepare. I have super thin hair and Anne was useful in helping me find extensions and a hairstyle that works best with them. In terms of the styling itself, I would give Anne and her team a 10 out of 5! Beth (makeup) and Marta (hair) were absolutely incredible. My makeup trial with Beth was wonderful and I felt like she really took the time to get to know me and understand the look I was going for. On wedding day, Beth and Marta showed up on time, made everyone look fantastic, and kept us on schedule (and we had a pretty tight schedule to work with!). My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup, and I felt absolutely stunning. The communication leading up to the event was the only real issue. I was originally informed that they would reach out to schedule my trial, but didn't hear anything until a few weeks before the wedding, so I ended up scrambling to schedule the trial later than I would have liked. There was also some confusion about the venue and some back-and-forth with Anne to make sure we were on the same page. However, Anne was very apologetic and got it cleared up immediately once we identified the issue, so everything worked out just fine! I would still 100% recommend Anne and her team for wedding styling--they are all great people and true artists who will make you look like the very best version of yourself!

I had a great experience with Anne and her team for my wedding hair and makeup. I coordinated with Anne, and worked with Beth and Marta for my trial and wedding day, and they were all lovely! They helped me articulate my vision of what I wanted, and were receptive to tweaks to both my hair and makeup after my trial. I loved how both my hair and makeup turned out. My makeup lasted perfectly throughout the night, and my hair held up really well considering that it was misting early in the day, which my hair does not like. My bridesmaids commented that in other weddings they have been in, the hair and makeup is done well for the bride, but is done half-heartedly for bridesmaids, and that this was the first time they actually liked their hair and makeup. The touch up kits were also such a wonderful and unique touch! Highly recommend working with Anne and her team!

If this review was just based on how my makeup and hair (and those for my bridal party) turned out on the day, this would be a 5/5 review! We worked with Beth (makeup) and Marta (hair) and they were amazing. I got so many compliments on my makeup and hair, and it honestly turned out exactly as I'd hoped. I looked like an elevated version of myself. On top of that, every person got a touch-up kit with their lip color and blotting papers. This might not seem like much, but considering I had been in my friends wedding just a few weeks prior and she was told by her makeup artist to buy her lip color at CVS for touchups, the attention to the little things was really appreciated! However, I have to take off one star simply due to the delay in communication leading up to scheduling my trial and to my wedding day. Everything was ultimately worked out, but because of wording in previous emails (mainly "we will reach out in a few weeks to schedule your trial", and then not hearing from anyone for 3 months) set up expectations for communication and timing that were not ultimately met and created unnecessary stress when I thought that I had missed my window to schedule a trial. As I think with a lot of wedding vendors, the amount of jobs that were booked for 2022 was slightly too much for the admin support that ATMH had on hand. I'd expect this to be rectified for 2023.

Run, do not walk to book Anne and her team for your wedding day. Words cannot describe how lucky I feel to have found Anne and her team. I booked Anne because I loved her work on Instagram and wasn’t sure what the Covid landscape would look like around our wedding day and figured since she does elopements I would have all my bases covered if we had to switch our plans. It was the best decision I could have made. Communicating with Anne was seamless and she is so kind. She answered all my questions and was always clear on what was needed to make things go smoothly, which I deeply appreciated. Liz and Kirsten are truly phenomenal. Most of my bridesmaids don’t wear a lot of makeup so they were a bit worried going into it. They wanted to feel comfortable in their makeup and hair. And Liz hit it out of the ballpark. She has an incredible way of listening, making you comfortable, and helps you look like a dream. She is a makeup goddess. Kirsten is a hair wizard in the best way. I don’t think there’s a style this woman can’t do and damn is she great at it. Anne’s team made everyone look radiant, stunning and like the best versions of themselves. My bridesmaids couldn’t stop gushing about how great they felt and looked. Furthermore, I felt gorgeous on my wedding day and it’s because Anne and her team are truly remarkable. I cannot thank them enough. Do yourself a favor and book her now. It will be one of the best decisions you make and worth every cent.

Anne and her team were amazing for our Issaquah/Mt Si wedding! Anne made my mom and I feel so welcome and comfortable at the hair/makeup trial and she was very responsive to my ideas and questions leading up to the big day. Wedding morning her and her team arrived on time and with quite the set up of supplies. They made use of the hotel suite well and kept to our schedule of 9 people well. Every one of my bridesmaids and moms loved their hair and makeup. I absolutely LOVED my makeup…a more natural but glowing look…and my long curled extensions. The whole look lasted all night long…even in 96 degree temps! We are all so happy to have chosen Anne and her team and have nothing but great feedback to pass on!

Anne is absolutely amazing!! She styled my friend's wedding a few years back and I knew right away that I wanted her to style mine as well (whenever the time came). I was blessed to be able to book Anne for our elopement this summer on Mount Baker!! From our initial consultation, to my trial session, and finally our wedding day Anne was quick to answer all of my beauty related questions and gave great advice on hair extension options to add volume and helped me reach my dream wedding hair style. She also referred me to her STELLAR teammate Kirsten who helped bring life and definition to my once dull/drab hair color. Anne was very patient with us as we continued to add more styling services for members of our wedding party or family, and she helped us rework our timeline when we had to change our ceremony plans completely just 2 weeks before our big day!! Anne and her entire team are absolutely fantastic and I look forward to working with then more in the future!

As mom of the bride, I was so pleased with these professionals. They styled 11 ladies(8 bridesmaids, bride and moms) for my daughters outdoor wedding with skill and efficiency. The artists were punctual and brought all needed tools and products. They gave each lady a touch up kit with their specific products to use later. Very impressed with their skill and professionalism.

Anne, Beth, and Kirsten are seriously rockstars! Anne is very experienced and knowledgeable, responsive to emails (day of responses), and shared the best resources (ask about the Beauty Timeline!!). Beth did my makeup and totally nailed it. I wear very minimal makeup and don’t have the terminology to explain what I want. She was able to ask the right questions to get the exact results that I wanted. After my trail run, I asked for a few minor adjustments, and she was able to execute perfectly on the day of. Kirsten did my hair and it was so classic and perfect. She gave me the exact type of curls and was able to highlight my hair piece perfectly. I will also add that the team did hair and makeup for a few friends and family members. I have been in a few weddings where the services for bridesmaids were very half baked. This was not the case for Anne Timss AT ALL--the service was absolutely worth the cost. They did full makeup on everyone (including fake lashes) and each of my bridesmaids got a little kit to help make everything last through the day.

Anne and her team came highly recommended but she also has become a friendly face as I had my makeup and hair done for my sisters wedding in 2017 and another friends wedding is 2020. She is friendly, quick to respond, efficient, and reliable. The makeup is flawless & the lashes are mt favorite! With how the year has been, she unfortunately got Covid but without any hesitation, she had her team fill in who did equally a great job! She had backup help immediately and knew how to troubleshoot. I couldn’t imagine any other team for my wedding! It was perfect and my hair & makeup stayed until the next morning! ☺️

To start, it is important to know that my wedding/elopement planning was a nightmare. But Anne and her team were an ABSOLUTE DREAM. Through my entire wedding planning process, I had three different venues, and each venue had a different guest list. We first reached out to Anne and her team in January for our October wedding; at that time our plan was to have Anne styling at least five in our party. Within a couple of days that number was reduced to three, and thankfully Anne and her team were so gracious about those backing out. It was a month or so later that we had to make the hard decision to not have guests at our wedding. Anne and her team were again so gracious and loving with yet another change to the plan; but we also through another wrench in by changing the location. Anne and her team were so supportive through each of these changes, reminding us that it was our big day, and they were there to help make it into our dream. So, though I had booked Anne for my hair and makeup, you can see that she and her team went well beyond just those services. That is to say nothing on how Anne made me look absolutely STUNNING for my wedding day. My hair and makeup lasted the entire day, even during our break where I took a nap and later while I went frolicking through the fields. For the first half of my day, I decided to wear a tiara, Anne placed it so beautifully and made sure that it could be easily removed later on in the day, and even gave me an emergency kit filled with goodies and the tube of lipstick we chose for my lip. Overall, I cannot praise Anne and her team enough. They helped me to remember that it was my wedding day and were there to help and provide support through each hiccup that we went through.

I can honestly admit that I was an anxious, type A bride. I had a postponement and location change and Anne, plus her team, were so flexible and accommodating. There was a stylist change after my trial, which stressed me out, and Anne got on the phone with me, calmed my nerves, and schedule a second trial. Y’all, she goes above and beyond! Day of the wedding, our getting ready space was a nightmare (lots of bodies, kids, and a chaos), but Anne and her team came in and crushed it. They were incredibly efficient but crushed each and every look. For me, the bride, I had a couple adjustments I wanted from the trial and Anne went above and beyond with my final look. I was obsessed with the makeup! Really helped start the day on such a positive step. While I am sad for brides she will no longer be doing traditional weddings, do yourself a favor and book her for your wedding!

Where to begin!! I highly recommend Anne for your hair and makeup for your big day! I feel so lucky to have had Anne and her team for my elopement day. Anne is a true artist and made the vision I had for my elopement look come to life. I had makeup & hair done for myself and 3 others. I worked with Kirsten, one of the stylists on Anne's team for hair services for my wedding. From my initial inquiry, Anne's assistant was extremely responsive, and the trend continued throughout the process up until my wedding day. Even when I wanted a second bridal trial to go try some different ideas, Kirsten was accommodating. I had hair styling services for 5 women and myself on the day of my wedding, and everyone looked fantastic. She was professional, prepared and punctual, and is clearly a master at her craft. I would recommend her to any bride, or individual who wants to look their best for an event!

Anne is a wonderful human being who really cares about her clients. She was so easy to work with and made my hair and makeup the day of my elopement so easy and stress free. She worked around my early morning schedule and was so efficient in our time together. She really listened to my ideas and gave professional feedback/ideas on what would work best with my hair. My hair and makeup came out absolutely beautiful and lasted from 7am all the way until I took it off around 7pm. Highly recommend Anne and am so grateful to have had the chance to be styled by her!

Anne and her team are really attentive and make sure you're ready for the big day. They were on time, structured, but so fun! After having a couple of HMU artists not work out due to communication issues, Anne promptly responded to my email and booked me in for my elopement last minute and also dealt with my last minute changes without any hesitation. She was very easy to talk to during our session and perfectly executed exactly what I wanted for my "makeup but no makeup" look! My hair and makeup lasted 10+ hours through a whole day of walking and hiking from hot to cold weather (which was amazing because makeup never stays on my face for longer than a couple of hours) and my normally flat hair had volume, was bouncy, and she blended my extension row in seamlessly. My main concern was not wanting to look overdone or not look like myself on my wedding day and Anne knocked it out of the park!

Anne is everything I had hoped for in a hair & makeup artist for my hiking adventure elopement this summer (Aug. 2021). She was super communicative, very fun to chat with, she provided quality recommendations - steering me away certain hair accessories and towards something that worked great with my dress - and made me a beautiful bride with hair and makeup that was flattering on me in person and in pictures! AND my hair and makeup stayed on ALL NIGHT despite the fact that I was sweating excessively from hiking up and around a mountain for hours. This woman knows how to make you look beautiful and how to make sure that beauty doesn't melt off your face! If you're an adventure elopement bride who wants to look amazing on your wedding day, Anne is the one to book!

Talented, professional, creative, engaging and fun! These are just a few of the words I'd use to describe working with Anne. A true artist, Anne is able to create the most dramatic looks while not making you feel over-done. Her kit is extensive and meticulously clean and cared for, just like how she'll make you feel. She's a breeze to talk with, and let's face it, you're face to face for awhile so communication is also key to a successful pairing, and knowledgable about all topics. Bonus how she gives you advice to take beyond your wedding day makeup and care for yourself from inside out. 100% worth the investment!

The engagement hair and makeup: My hairstyle lasted all day and was what I wanted and said I wanted. The makeup was not spectacular and I wasn’t fully happy with the outcome. For the wedding trial hair and makeup, Jessica and Anne not only didn’t listen to what I wanted but also dismissed what I wanted. The hairstyle didn’t last past 45 minutes. The braid was falling apart and looked messy. For makeup, I really wanted contouring on my nose and was told I shouldn’t contour it and she didn’t. She never used primers, setting sprays, or any products which help makeup look great and last all day. When I let them know the hairstyle didn’t last past 45 minutes, they expected me to pay $100 for a new hair trial. I was told that Anne had no time for a new makeup trial. The contract date was incorrect by a month. When I asked Anne to please correct the contract date, she stated by email that she would fix it when she returned from a trip. Several days after her return, the contract date had not been fixed. For all of these reasons, I terminated the contract by email and sent a certified letter. She responded to the termination of contract by email promptly and professionally.

Anne is uniquely qualified. Here's the thing, I'm not all high cheek bones, perfect brows, and poreless skin; I need someone who can work with what I've got. Anne is exactly that that someone: an artist who actively listens to your vision, understands that every person's skin and features are unique, and who will work with both of those elements to create your perfect look. Whether all-natural or high-glam she'll have you stopping and smiling every time you pass a window and you always leave her chair with the best tips on how to best care for your personal skin concerns. Plus, she's just an absolute delight to be around, and who doesn't want that when you're stuck in a chair for an hour? Hire her, you'll be so happy you did.

Anne is delightful. I am a wedding and elopement planner and Anne has quickly become one of my top referrals for hair and make-up services. She is flexible to come on site at the base of a mountain or in a secluded cabin, she is easy to collaborate with when it comes to creating and keeping to a timeline, and she makes her clients feel top notch, with a touch up bag for the road! Two words: Hire Anne. As a makeup afficionado, I sincerely thought about doing my own hair and makeup for my wedding day, but I knew I needed something stress free that would last no matter what weather was thrown at it. Anne and Jess showed up at 3 AM to do my hair and makeup for a 5 AM sunrise hike. If that doesn't say dedication, I don't know what does. While we did no trial run prior to my wedding day, I felt comfortable and beautiful, and my hair and makeup did not budge through snow, rain, wind, tears, and a mid-day nap (adventure elopments are exhausting fun). She understood exactly what I wanted and was so much fun to hang out with super early in the morning. Anne is worth the money, makes everything super easy, and is just a lovely human being. Anne and her team are amazing! I was lucky enough to work with them for my own wedding, and to have her style me in a friend's wedding. Anne was really great to work with! She and her team were punctual, professional, and friendly, and my bridal party, Mum, and I were all so pleased with the work they did for us on our wedding day! We all looked SO GOOD! My make up was super cry-proof--thank god, since there was a ridiculous amount of happy tears on our wedding day. 😅 The touch-up kits she gave us all when we were done were amazing, too! I had the pleasure of working with Anne and her team for my wedding hair and makeup this summer. Right away I knew Anne would be a perfect fit for my wedding not only because she was highly experienced, but also because she was easy to communicate with, genuinely listened to my wedding HMU vision, and had an easy going attitude with a fabulous sense of humor! My constantly changing work schedule made finding a trial date more difficult than planned; however, and Anne and her team actually came to my condo for the HMU trial, which goes to show just how accommodating she is! Our wedding day could not have gone any smoother. My hair and makeup was exceptional that day! I wanted an elevated natural glam version of myself and Anne (and her team!) definitely delivered. The entire bridal party was completely in love with their HMU that day, and it lasted throughout the whole night! I loved that she had a team of five to do our HMU, it created efficiency so much so that we were done early and had time for touch ups and even last minute hair requests by grandma. Anne and her team were experienced, efficient, and overall just fun to be around. Our wedding day was extra special because of Anne and her amazing team. Thank you so much Anne!

Anne was amazing from our very first interaction. As a planner I was scrambling to fix some hair and makeup scheduling issues with a bride and reached out to Anne to see if she could help us out in a pinch. She responded within the hour on a Friday night and was super responsive and supportive throughout the planning process. On the actual wedding day, Anne and her team (Kat) not only provided beautiful hair styling for the bridal party, but even stayed later than originally planned to accommodate the bride who was having some medical issues. They were so great and really made the wedding day amazing!

Anne and her team are simply the best. Our trial was simple and easy. And recreating the look on the wedding day was a breeze as well. Anne showed up with an assistant for makeup that did four bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom with ease! Anne did my makeup so well and so quickly. I last minute changed my hair because of the weather and the stylist Anne brought, Marta, did the absolute best job. I have never received more compliments on my hair. All of the children that attended our wedding called me Princess all night long. Thanks to Anne and her team for the glow up! Anne was one of the first vendors I booked because hair and make-up were really important to me. Anne was recommended by our wedding venue and I am so happy I found her. Our trial run was really fun and she captured the look I was trying to describe. I found Anne through a friend and looked at her work on Instagram and immediately knew I had to book her for my wedding. Her makeup artistry was exactly what I wanted. I brought my mom along for the makeup and hair trial a few months before my wedding, and my mom was even blown away with how amazing Anne was--hair and makeup aside, Anne goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and in a good mood! On my wedding day, Anne and an amazing group of woman came up to Whidbey Island (at 5:30AM!!) and styled me, my mom, my mother in law and my EIGHT bride maids in a relaxed, calm fashion. Anne and Jessica worked some wizardry on myself and my sister. We looked so beautiful (my sister said she looked better than she did on her wedding day) and our hair and makeup lasted the entire rainy day! I was sick, my toddler was sick, and I was going off of 7hrs of sleep over 2 days and had to wake up at 4:30am to be ready for our sunrise elopement. Anne and Jessica traveled out to us and started styling at 5am! (not easy to find people to even be willing to do that) Seriously stop looking and just book now. They are so worth it and incredibly talented!

I hired Anne about 5 months into my 2 year engagement. That being sais, I had a long time to get to know her and although I was on the other side of the country, felt like not only did I hire an artist for my hair (and makeup artist for my sister) but also made a friend. Anne was very friendly and professional from moment one. I am from New York, and was getting married in New Orleans. Unbeknownst to me, Anne was actually from Washington State, but was listed as a vendor for New Orleans, and after fawning over her amazing work, hired her as my artist. She actualy cleared everything up when she told me she does weddings all over the world and spends most of Octiber in New Orleans Styling Weddings and events, so my wedding would fit right in with everything. I was thrilled. Fast worward a year and a half and Anne arrived at my hotel in the French Quarter, and created the most magical, insanely stunning and romantic hairstyle I've ever seen. It was exactally what i was picturing and couldnt be happier. Not only was everyone commenting on my hair in awe, people were still complimenting it the NEXT DAY, after partying all night, sleeping on it and going to a boozy brunch the next morning. It lasted almost 48 hours before I needed to wash my hair haha. I am so so thankful, not only for the amazing work she did on me (shes a hair magician ladies), she made my very insecure sister who never wears makeup due to rosacea and other skin issues, look like a glowing, confident woman who was comfortable enough to hold her head high as my bridesmaid. She kept looking at herself in reflection and smiling, really meant the world to me. Don't hesitate to hire Anne, you will be so happy you did!

Anne and Jessica were a great duo for my wedding in August. 7 people needed to have hair and make up completed for my wedding so it was a long morning, but they got everyone done early! My hair and make up turned out AMAZING! I completely changed what I wanted to do with my hair on the wedding day. Jessica went with the flow and my hair came out exactly like I wanted! It was also nice that it felt like Anne and Jessica were just extensions of my wedding crew. It's a bit of an intimate morning getting ready with your closest family and friends. Anne and Jessica fit in with everyone perfectly and were being silly with us the whole day. Thank you so much for making my wedding day so great!!

Anne did the makeup and hair for my daughter's wedding on Hood Canal. She was so fantastic to work with. From the first time I contacted her she was very professional and put me at ease about how she would be able to get 12 hair and makeups done and 9 shaves for the guys. My daughter did a pre-trial a couple months before the wedding and Anne was able to achieve the look my daughter was looking for, which was a more natural look. The day of the wedding Anne and her group showed up early in the morning and stayed until mid-afternoon. All the makeup artists that she brought were so talented. And the one hair stylist she had did such an incredible job on everyone's hair. We had many requests for different styles of hair and the stylist was able to achieve all the requests. We all had so many compliments on how natural and beautiful our makeup was. If you are looking for a makeup artist/hair stylist hire Anne asap. We booked her a year in advance.

You should absolutely hire Anne and her team for your wedding! Of course every bride wants to look perfect on the big day, and I felt 100% confident that Anne and her team would make this happen! When I went in for my trial I had a lot of different ideas, but was mostly just clear that I wanted to look natural since I have sensitive skin and don't usually wear make up. Somehow, Anne and Jess (the hairstylist) knew exactly what I would like and what would look good on me without me even needing to say much. On the actual wedding day, Anne made me feel comfortable and at ease even though I was super nervous. She made me laugh and smile and of course the hair and make up turned out perfect! All of the bridesmaids looked amazing too. She gave us little emergency touch-up kits, and my updo stayed perfect all night. Anne truly made me look like a princess and the hair and make up look so good in photos. Thank you Anne and team!!!

Anne & Jessica were amazing. I worked with Anne a few times throughout the course of our wedding journey, and I don't think it would have been quite as amazing if it wasn't for her. It was an absolute pleasure working with Anne and her partner. So personable and very professional. I was unsure at first what I wanted and she totally was flexible. Her knowledge was very helpful for a bride like me! I ended up sending them some photos for examples the week before, and brought those the day of. The work they did for me turned out better than any pinterest photo I had seen! They did a gorgeous job with my sister, step daughter, and grandma too:) Spectacular, thorough, and wow the end result was flawless-I would highly recommend Anne and I could not have been happier. Anne and Jessica were both a delight. They did hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law does not normally wear makeup or do her hair, so Anne and Jessica made sure to find a look for her that was beautiful, comfortable and natural. Anne came to my folks' house to get us ready at 5:15 a.m. There are few people I enjoy chatting with so early in the morning, but Anne and Jessica were the exceptions to that rule.

Anne Timss was an amazing individual to work with and has a great team supporting her! Anne made the planning process incredibly easy with her online planning portal which helped to keep me organized with the invoices, timeline for the day and exact hair and makeup needs. Leading up to the wedding Anne was very helpful and communicated seamlessly. Anne's hair and makeup artists did a fantastic job and were amazing to work with on the day of the wedding. They came to the wedding venue in the morning (which is also where we got ready for the wedding) and did a great job on both my hair and makeup as well as the hair and makeup of many members of the bridal party including both my Mom and husbands Mom. I would not have changed a thing in what they did with my hair and/or makeup and would recommend them to any bride! They also made the morning fun for us and we had a great time spending the morning with them!

Anne was amazing to work with! I contacted her kind of late in the process and I got lucky because she happened to have a cancellation - but book her early! She did my trial run a few months before and I had so much fun just hanging out with her (and her plants) and she made me feel so comfortable before the wedding. At the trial, we did 2 different hair styles to make sure the day of would be perfect and I am so glad that she took the time to make sure that I felt great about everything. Anne is simply the best! She came to Mexico for our wedding and was seriously a lifesaver! She not only got me ready for our day before shoot but came to the rescue when I had been ill the entire night before the wedding! She helped modify the schedule and set me up with a much needed face mask for my dark circles! You would never know I had been up the entire night before my wedding, she made me look like the best version of myself! My mom and mother in law (who never wear much makeup and were nervous about getting their hair and makeup done) looked fabulous as well! Thank you for everything Anne! I cannot recommend her enough!
