Annie was SO helpful, kind, and well equipped to assist us write our vows, pick readings, and guide us during the ceremony for our wedding day! She met with us a couple of times before the day and made sure we had plenty of materials to choose our wedding ceremony readings and guided us in writing our personal vows. Annie lead the wedding party the day before in the rehearsal and made sure everyone knew what they were supposed to be doing. We were so lucky to have Annie as our officiant! we really had no idea what we wanted for a ceremony, other than it being relatively quick (we don't love being the center of attention lol). But Annie provided us with many ideas to choose from, and we found the perfect fit. She is clearly an experienced professional, as everything went perfectly smoothly. After our very first phone call with Annie, we knew we were in excellent hands. Creating a personalized and unique ceremony was important to us, and Annie helped us do just that. She took the time to meet with us to review the components of a wedding ceremony and discuss our vision. She provided us with a large selection of readings, poems, and symbolic ceremonies to choose from, but also welcomed outside material. We had a pretty stressful wedding planning experience and Annie stuck with us through it all. We decided to postpone due to the pandemic and then ended up changing our postponement date and venue as well. We made a lot of changes to our original wedding plans and Annie was instrumental in reassuring us that everything would work out when we were facing so much uncertainty. Annie was also very responsive by both phone and email during the planning process, which we really appreciated. Annie has many, many years of experience as an officiant, which we found very comforting because we were looking for someone who knew what they were doing. Choosing Annie as our wedding officiant was the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning. We were originally planning our wedding for August 2020. Our venue was pushing us to hold off on rescheduling. Annie was our voice of reason throughout the chaos of planning and replanning. She was honest with us when it was time to postpone, based on information she had through the Vermont Board of Wedding Professionals. She supported us when there were challenges with rescheduling, and just could not have been more patient and lovely. Once we did have everything rescheduled, Annie had multiple calls with us, planning every aspect of our ceremony. It was very apparent that she truly cared about the ceremony being what we wanted. Annie shared her tips with us from her 20+ years of experience and was able to provide guidance that we very much trusted. Annie stayed in touch with us leading up to our wedding and answered any questions we had ahead of time. She spent quite a bit of time talking with us about our ceremony and what to anticipate. She was very thorough leading up to our wedding rehearsal and actual ceremony. All involved knew where they needed to be and what would happen the day of the event. We can't say enough about Annie. Guys, if you have not booked Annie for your wedding and you can get on her calendar, JUST DO IT! Annie was amazing and made our wedding feel like it was 100% ours in every single way. We incorporated both non religious and some Roman Catholic aspects to make our grandparents happy as well as us who decided that we really didn't not feel like getting married at a church was our cup of tea. She had readings that she recommended laid out for us, recommendations that our guests loved (do the wine box, you won't regret it!) and amazingly kept in touch with us even though she was going through an extremely hard time leading up to our wedding♥️She also ran our rehearsal and corralled the herd of cats that is our bridal party as well as mine and my husbands family in the most professional way ever! We got married at the Inn at Mountain View farm and she knew the place like it was the back of her hand. She was a calming force on a day that could have been incredibly stressful and we never would have been able to do it without her♥️ Thank you Annie from the bottom of our hearts for being so responsive, thorough, and caring throughout the entire process! Again if you are thinking about hiring her get your foot off the brake and just do it! You will not find a more professional, prompt, and personal officiant out there!

Annie did a fantastic job as our officiant! We were coordinating from out of state but she worked with us over the phone multiple times and helped make our ceremony very personalized! It was great having someone so supportive and caring during our elopement!

Annie was amazing! She was extremely kind,, helped us with everything, gave advice and support, and was able to accommodate changes in plans easily. We love her. We eloped in 19, and were still going to have a big ceremony 20, but because of COVID, we decided to just announce we had eloped and will celebrate our 5 year anniversary with a big bash and vow renewal for everyone to come. There are almost no words to describe how wonderful Annie was. My husband and I (same sex couple) as prepared as we thought we were, really had no clue about what we wanted in terms of the actual service and also the practical steps we had to follow in making our marriage official. Annie truly guided us from square zero and built the most beautiful personalized ceremony. She was soo good she actually married us twice, both officially in a small ceremony and symbolically in a large ceremony for family and friends.  If you are a busy couple and have no idea what to do, I would 100% recommend reaching out to Annie. Before our ceremony we were living abroad and all communication was done via email and phone. Somehow through this she was able to deliver the most heartfelt officiation (my eyes water thinking of how beautiful her words were) and she was also able to incorporate various cultural traditions going above and beyond doing independent research to make all family feel welcome and included. Annie officiated over our wedding in May 2019 at Boorn Brook Farm in Manchester, VT. We had chosen an elopement with just the two of us, Annie, and our photographer, Sally Carpenter. We got married on May 25th 2019 at the Alerin Barn in VT. It was so perfect thanks to all the vendors but especially Annie. Annie wasn’t available to be our officiant but she went above and beyond to help us plan the ceremony. She set us up with a backup officiant, contacted our vendors, and worked with us to ensure it went perfect. In hindsight I can’t think of a single thing I would change about our ceremony. It was truly perfect.

Annie's experience and knowledge was extremely helpful in planning a ceremony that felt personalized to my husband and I! We had an initial phone call to talk through what we were generally thinking and then we had an in person meeting a few months out to nail down the details. She provided binders worth of reading and ceremony options for us to choose from to make our wedding perfect for us, and also planned out every little detail (procession order, song choices, etc) so that the day felt super organized. She was easy to get in touch with to answer any of our questions along the way. It also helped that Annie has worked with my wedding coordinators in the past and was familiar with the Woodstock Inn that she was able to run a seamless day! She even gave us suggestions on where to get our marriage license and other local VT vendors to use.
