Annie was and is a special part of our big day. A day we will always treasure and the very day when two became one. Annie was SO helpful, kind, and well equipped to assist us write our vows, pick readings, and guide us during the ceremony for our wedding day! She met with us a couple of times before the day and made sure we had plenty of materials to choose our wedding ceremony readings and guided us in writing our personal vows. Choosing Annie as our wedding officiant was the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning. We were originally planning our wedding for August 2020. Our venue was pushing us to hold off on rescheduling. Annie was our voice of reason throughout the chaos of planning and replanning. She was honest with us when it was time to postpone, based on information she had through the Vermont Board of Wedding Professionals. She supported us when there were challenges with rescheduling, and just could not have been more patient and lovely. Once we did have everything rescheduled, Annie had multiple calls with us, planning every aspect of our ceremony. It was very apparent that she truly cared about the ceremony being what we wanted. Guys, if you have not booked Annie for your wedding and you can get on her calendar, JUST DO IT! Annie was amazing and made our wedding feel like it was 100% ours in every single way. We incorporated both non religious and some Roman Catholic aspects to make our grandparents happy as well as us who decided that we really didn't not feel like getting married at a church was our cup of tea. She had readings that she recommended laid out for us, recommendations that our guests loved (do the wine box, you won't regret it!) and amazingly kept in touch with us even though she was going through an extremely hard time leading up to our wedding♥️She also ran our rehearsal and corralled the herd of cats that is our bridal party as well as mine and my husbands family in the most professional way ever! We got married at the Inn at Mountain View farm and she knew the place like it was the back of her hand. She was a calming force on a day that could have been incredibly stressful and we never would have been able to do it without her♥️ Thank you Annie from the bottom of our hearts for being so responsive, thorough, and caring throughout the entire process! Again if you are thinking about hiring her get your foot off the brake and just do it! You will not find a more professional, prompt, and personal officiant out there!

There are almost no words to describe how wonderful Annie was. My husband and I (same sex couple) as prepared as we thought we were, really had no clue about what we wanted in terms of the actual service and also the practical steps we had to follow in making our marriage official. Annie wasn’t available to be our officiant but she went above and beyond to help us plan the ceremony. She set us up with a backup officiant, contacted our vendors, and worked with us to ensure it went perfect. In hindsight I can’t think of a single thing I would change about our ceremony. It was truly perfect.

Annie's experience and knowledge was extremely helpful in planning a ceremony that felt personalized to my husband and I! We had an initial phone call to talk through what we were generally thinking and then we had an in person meeting a few months out to nail down the details. She provided binders worth of reading and ceremony options for us to choose from to make our wedding perfect for us, and also planned out every little detail (procession order, song choices, etc) so that the day felt super organized. She was easy to get in touch with to answer any of our questions along the way. It also helped that Annie has worked with my wedding coordinators in the past and was familiar with the Woodstock Inn that she was able to run a seamless day! Picking an officiant was something my now husband and I were very nervous to do. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted in a ceremony and didn't know how to go about finding out. Annie was excellent! From our first phone call with her, we knew we had the right person! We selected Annie as our officiant for our Killington Grand wedding in May 2016. We found her extremely helpful in planning all aspects of our ceremony. She provided us readings, help with personal touches and vows, making it very little work for us, which is something that anyone planning a wedding knows is helpful especially during the final planning stages. Additionally, we came up with a unique unity ceremony for which Annie wrote the perfect passage. Annie was the officiant for our wedding this September and she was amazing! Very professional and experienced. We had a pre wedding meeting that she worked around our schedule since we are from out of state. Everything went absolutely perfect the day of! Would definitely recommend Annie.

Annie was amazing!! From our first call to the day of the wedding she was always on top of everything. Having done so many weddings we felt so comfortable with her right from the start and trusted that she knew what she was doing. She is so personable and kind! We did most of our planning over the phone as my husband and I were living outside of Vermont. We did meet at her house to go over ceremony options in person but all other meetings were over the phone. Annie had so many ceremony options that we really felt like we were able to fully personalize our ceremony and make it our own. Annie shared her opinions but listened to what we wanted and ensured the end product was amazing. Annie was great at the rehearsal and stayed until we were comfortable with how it was all going to happen on the day of our wedding. We had a beautiful day the day of our wedding and Annie made sure it went flawlessly! We really appreciated how organized and prompt Annie was. There was no research required for choosing our wedding officiant. Our venue recommended Annie and as soon as I looked her up, I knew I wanted her to be a part of our day. The hundreds of amazing reviews speak volumes. Annie was professional, friendly, and very organized. It was really a pleasure working with her. She helped us customize our ceremony to our unique personalities. I cannot say enough good things about Annie. Thanks to her, our ceremony was memorable and just perfect.

Annie likes to talk a lot about how many weddings she has officiated. While the way she speaks about it is a little excessive, originally it was reassuring. We thought she would be able to help craft our interfaith ceremony to be right for us while still honoring the traditions of our families. When we finally received her packet of ceremony resources in the mail, it was simply a template ceremony with two places that had options A, B, and C. We felt like our wedding ceremony was being ordered off of a value menu. Not the careful discussion of the traditions we wanted to incorporate. Disappointed, we wrote our own ceremony using a book. Initially she seemed to push back on several parts of this ceremony as if she was uncomfortable deviating from her well rehearsed template. This did seem to come from a genuine concern of ensuring things went smoothly, but we were still frustrated as this was our wedding ceremony and we did not want some cookie cutter that did not fit our lives. In the end she did use the ceremony we wrote. The real issue was during our rehearsal and during the wedding, it seemed very clear that Annie had barely given our ceremony a read through. She advertises as having experience with interfaith ceremonies, but she had a hard time pronouncing basic wedding words like chuppah. I can overlook that, if she did not mispronounce my name, my mother's name and several of our reader's names. We were aware this might be an issue so we provided phonetic pronunciation and made sure to review the names with her, but she still mispronounced all those important names. More of an inconvenience, than a complaint, but Annie was also really bad at replying to e-mail. She admitted to being a bit of a luddite, but when working with people from a distance it was stressful to have to wait weeks for her to reply to an e-mail or having to call her to get an answer after those weeks of no response.

Annie was an absolutely wonderful officiant! She was so helpful with planning the details and readings for our ceremony, keeping everyone organized on the day of, and with any questions we had throughout our whole planning process. She made the most beautiful day of our lives that much more special. My husband and I would recommend Annie to anyone looking to get married in the beautiful green mountains of Vermont!!

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Annie Alexander Kramer for our September wedding. We found Annie about a year prior to the wedding and it was SO easy to book her. She was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. We met her in person once before the wedding and ended up staying longer than we had planned because we enjoyed chatting with her so much! Before the wedding she reviewed our wedding programs and offered advice and suggestions to make sure the ceremony would be perfect. During the rehearsal she made sure to keep my wedding party on track. I wasn't ever nervous because she took control and knew exactly what needed to be done. On the day of the wedding she arrived well ahead of time so she could make sure everything was going smoothly! When my ceremony musicians were late she kept everyone calm and made sure everything else was ready to go. Annie is lovely, professional, and the perfect officiant! I would HIGHLY recommend her. We received tons of compliments on how personal our ceremony was!

We had the pleasure of having Annie as our officiant for our wedding this past summer at Sugarbush Resort in Vermont. From the initial phone interview we had with her prior to signing our contract, we immediately found her to be warm, professional, and highly interested in us as a couple. She was flexible and available when discussing and planning our wedding ceremony, either by phone or in person, which was extremely helpful and well-appreciated while planning a wedding from out of state. Annie also provided us with some inspirational material to help guide us while creating our perfect yet unique civil ceremony. At the rehearsal, Annie showed up on time and remained professional throughout. It was clear how knowledgeable and well-versed she is in officiating weddings, and kept our rehearsal flowing smoothly--even when we had to unfortunately change the location due to inclement weather. On the wedding day, Annie delivered a wonderful, unforgettable wedding ceremony that we had written with her help. It went absolutely beautifully and flawlessly, and we are so glad to have had her officiate our special day. It is clear how much Annie loves working with couples from the initial planning all the way to the "I do", and we would 100% recommend her to future brides & grooms!

We got married Memorial Day Weekend-May 24, 2014. We were both raised Catholic but in our adult lives do not attend church regularly. Hence we had been thinking about our officiant, our faith, the overall religious message we wanted to remember and convey to those in attendance and what we would do for all of it for about 2-3 years before we even got engaged. Annie has a solid reputation and has officiated many weddings in the Vermont region. We saw numerous happy couples on her pages and liked how responsive and warm she was in our calls to one another. And whenever we would come up to the area for our planning trips she would work around our schedule so that we could also meet with a few of the other vendors as well and minimize the traveling for us. This was important since we did not live together in the same household prior to our wedding and from a planning perspective, orchestrating a semi-destination wedding while in a long-distance relationship when both partners want to be involved and are invested in the wedding details can be super tiring and involved. Nonetheless, the resulting product is worthwhile and we are proud of the outcome. Annie sits down with you and describes about three slight variations of ceremonies that she can conduct with your help. You as the couple get to choose the wordings you would like and discuss with her how friends and family should be involved. Annie also sent us planning worksheets and samples of poems and readings for the ceremony which were helpful. My husband, Chris, and I were each sharing in the planning of the wedding weekend and I allowed him to organize most of the files on Annie and our ceremony, however maintaining the view that it would be a joint effort on both of our parts, and a true exercise in testing our compatibility for marriage. Annie was ahead of time for the rehearsal as well as the day of the ceremony and had our vows that we’d sent her neatly typed and pasted on cards to reference as well as the readings for the readers during the ceremony. The ceremony went smoothly and without a hitch-there was some rain at the end (however, it is good luck on your day) and then it cleared up fast and we were blessed with a double rainbow. It was a beautiful day and a truly extraordinary ceremony!

My husband and I were planning our dream winter Vermont Wedding from NJ over the last 18 months. I am Jewish and my Husband Episcopalian so we were looking for an Officiant that could include both traditions but, most importantly, a ceremony as unique as our relationship. From the first meeting with Annie it was clear that she was the one to make our dream wedding come true. She made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. Helped us choose readings that suited us and created a flow that was perfect for us. She wanted to know every detail of our day so that she could enhance the overall experience, and she did. We spoke several times and there was always a clear process. But above all, Annie is one of the most kind and genuine people we have ever met. Our entire Wedding party just loved her. She is gentle, but assertive making our rehearsal a beautiful part of the entire experience. We got married on January 31, 2015 at Stowe Mountain Lodge, Stowe VT. We feel like our ceremony was so perfectly us, with lots of laughs and just the right amount of tears. Thank you, Annie for everything. My husband and I hired Annie as our officiant for our winter wedding in Woodstock, VT. She was extremely professional, and it was very clear to us that she has many years of experience under her belt! We loved the vows and readings Annie suggested for us and also her idea to have a wine ceremony. She was amazing to work with and made us feel at ease with how the ceremony would turn out (which ended up being wonderful)! We would absolutely recommend her for future weddings in the Vermont area.

There aren't enough things that we can say that would adequately show our appreciation for the way that Annie handled our wedding- with a torn accilles tendon, on the way up to the altar! She was a trooper from the start, helping us with anything we needed, including the town hall (which was more of a problem than you would believe, but she straightened it all out). It was great having her there to help direct us through every second of the ceremony, and she had our vows and our father's speeches all transcribed onto little index cards that she brought on the day, and kept everything in order for us. She is outgoing, knowlegable, professional, and upbeat, and made the whole day less stressful even though she was probably a little stressed herself with her injury! Need we say more? If you can get her, take her!

Annie was great in helping us plan our wedding. We were having to plan our wedding from Texas, so my husband and i needed a lot of help along the way. Annie was great! She had a ton of resources for us to look through and was VERY helpful in helping us make decisions as to what we wanted. (we were so clueless on so many things) If she thought our idea/plan needed a little help, she gave great advice that we ended up loving. She helped us plan a very beautiful wedding that really matched our personalities and we were very proud of.

We planned a Christmas Destination wedding in Vermont from Virginia, and Annie was extremely helpful in making our dreams come true. We had regular phone conversations with her that allowed us to convey our goals for the ceremony and emailed us several great suggestions for our vows and readings. During the day of the ceremony, she was extremely helpful with the rehearsal, and even went so far as to travel around town with us while our photographer took our wedding pictures. We really enjoyed having her as our officiant and recommend her to anyone getting married in Vermont.
