She's has an inevitable charm, a gorgeous portfolio and I swooned over the planning journal she gifted us after our first meeting. One of many thoughtful touches to come. She's professional, her photography packages are simple, direct and just make sense. She's in tuned to what's important to brides and grooms and has savvy advice about all things wedding. But yet, there is something more. Was working with her a dream? Yes. Did our day of run smoothly and did we get in all the portraits we wanted. Easily. What we didn't know is the ones we'd love even more were the ones we didn't know were being taken. Every meaningful laugh, hug, and expression of sheer love & joy captured so genuinely fills us to the brim with eternal gratitude. We didn't expect to feel that, or to get a giggle, 3 months after our wedding, when our guests continue to ask about how our "photographer friends" are doing because they had so much fun with Annie and Peter at the reception. Yet, that's not it. Of all the plenty good photographers in Chicago there's still that something that makes Annie & Peter feel a little bit different in that beyond special amazing way. Could it be their good nature that seems to put everyone at ease? How they naturally added to the overall fun of our wedding day? Was it that I watched Peter put down his camera at one point to ever so kindly help my uncle get a cup a coffee? Or that extra stop we made to get photos at a location that was special to us? Yes, probably. But, still not exactly. After trying to pin point it, I'm convinced now that what's makes them so uniquely amazing, beyond their superhero photography talent, is that they love love. They are the most genuine admirers of love; in all of its forms. And it shows in every heartwarming embrace, joyous outburst, laugh, and loving look captured in our wedding album. And because they do, those split-second moments, that make our relationships with our friends and family so special and the experience of our wedding day beautiful to us are ours forever. This was by far our best wedding planning decision. We bet you a slice of cake that it will be yours too!

Once we visited our wedding destination in Ft Myers, Florida our wedding planner mentioned her name again. Obviously a sign, I reached out to Annie. After meeting her (over the computer screen), I knew she'd be the one to capture our beautiful day. Her style of photography and the way she captures the event as a story of the day and our love was EXACTLY what we wanted. She is also the sweetest woman to work with! Shortly after that, I asked her to a family photo shoot for us, to which we fell in love with her of course, and knew we'd have her do our wedding one day. She was the FIRST vendor we booked, about 18 months before our wedding. She is the best photographer you can go with, all around. She has the best personality, an insane fun sense of humor, is the most kind and passionate person, and is so very talented...She will treat your wedding day as if she was photographing her own day. She will make sure you get EVERY shot you ever wanted, will make you feel extremely comfortable, and will make it ever so enjoyable. uisite! Myself and my husband are not the type of people that are comfortable having a camera in our faces, we were so nervous when she came to Michigan City, Indiana to do our engagement shoot. Within the first five minutes of the shoot she had us laughing, smiling, and put us at complete ease! I don't know how she does it, but the photographs she captured in both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day (in Fort Myers Beach, Florida) completely capture our individual personalities, our relationship together, and somehow she even manages to capture our love story. Annie and her husband Peter work seamlessly together on the wedding day to document the entire day, Peter with the groom and men, Annie with the bride and women. I would rehire Annie a million times because her attention to details, thoughtful gestures, and incredibly high level of professionalism , as well as promptness in replying to e-mails, questions, concerns-ANYTHING -she is seriously there in a flash to let you know that everything will be perfect on your day because she literally will make it that way for you! Oh did I mention that Annie was roughly 8 months pregnant, in Florida, in the hot, humid weather, on the beach and did she complain or lack in her abilities...of course not! She was glowing and beautiful, dressed in perfect wedding beach attire and you honestly couldn't even tell she was pregnant!
