Annie’s catered my wedding and everything was absolutely delicious! Annie was amazing to work with and answered all my questions. Highly recommend. Our guests loved the buffet.
Our tasting was amazing. The day of the event the food was pretty good; however they were late to arrive and unprofessionally involved my guests in drama.
The payment was due on the day of the wedding, my sister asked if you could pay with our debit card, they said Yes to just call the following morning. As if this previous conversation never happened, DURING the middle of dinner service, the caterer pulled aside a groomsman and said they haven't been paid and need to speak to the bride or groom. There was then an argument between them, my husband and father in front of guests; this was embarrassing and very unprofessional. It brought a level of stress into the wedding celebration.
My dad did end up giving them a check mid-dinner service. I just wish Annie's had told us prior that they would only be able to take a check or cash the day of. There was never any email or call or discussion about the final payment until the reception had started, I didn't even get the total bill until days prior to the event.
Then for brunch, we hired their buffet for a 10:00 AM. This we paid for in advanced. The morning of, guests were showing up to our venue and the caterer was no where to be found. We tried calling their phone's but there was no answer. Eventually, I called my wedding coordinator from the night before and she was able to get in touch with them and said they were running late. Annie's showed up at 10:15 AM, and THEN had to set up. My guests were aimlessly walking around waiting, and some had already left before the caterers arrived. It was very unprofessional and embarrassing.
I loved the fact that this was a family owned business. I just wish they delivered with professionalism. A wedding weekend is a big and expensive day that you heavily rely on vendors to make run smooth. I was disappointed on how this one turned out. I do wish them the best going forward.
I had a terrible experience with Annie's catering my wedding. With several emails detailing exactly what was being ordered and how it should be displayed, I received an email a week before the wedding asking tons of questions.... that were answered in the string of emails below. So I had a feeling something was going to go wrong.
I have photos that showed how the baked goods were going to be displayed on raised platters that I'd be borrowing and returning. My father (bless his heart) picked up and delivered the baked goods to the venue without realizing they were on flat, plastic throw-away platters - NOT what was agreed to.
I noticed ahead of time and called to ask that they bring by the agreed upon platters. I was told they were busy. I responded that was fine, they had 4 hours before the platters were needed. I was told there was no way they could make the 15 minute drive to correct THEIR MISTAKE.
Luckily the catering manager at my venue overheard the phone conversation, quickly took action, and did what she could to display the baked goods so they weren't lying flat on a table at an upscale wedding venue on throwaway platters.
While the food was good, the service was awful and completely unreliable. I will never work with them again.
