Annmarie photographed our 80 person wedding in June 2022, and we could not be happier with how the images turned out and the experience we had working with her. As a couple that tried to steer away from some of the traditional wedding events, we were so grateful that Annmarie was flexible, easy-going, and didn’t try to push us into anything we didn’t want to do. At the same time, she was also vocal where she thought we might have regrets -- even when delivering the photos, she urged us to take the time to go through them together, rather than rush through it in between work meetings. In a wedding industry that can often feel fairly transactional, this was a much needed dose of perspective. From the first consult call to the wedding day, she exuded calm and good cheer, and was above all focused on understanding what we were looking for. All of our friends and family were amazed that we had a framed photo in hand, night-of :) We’d absolutely have her photograph any other events for us!

Annmarie is truly amazing, but she is way more than a photographer! From the moment I first spoke to her I knew she had to be a part of our special day. For a bride struggling to get through it all, she was ALWAYS there to put my mind at ease. Annmarie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. My husband and I aren't the most comfortable taking photos, but Annmarie made it easy. Everything felt so natural and the photos captured our emotions perfectly <3 She was well-organized, professional, and super responsive to my never ending questions which created so much trust in her and her services. Annmarie Swift, without a doubt, is the best decision we made for our wedding day. From the very beginning, Annmarie was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional when it came to all things for our wedding. Not to mention - the talent!! There isn't a single image in our collection that I don't love, which makes picking out an album and photos to frame very difficult!! On our wedding day, Annmarie (and her rockstar assistant Kyla) were so great at making sure every formal we wanted was photographed as well as the sweet candids of us and all the details of the day. Annmarie also helped me stay calm during some of the stressful times and even helped my bridesmaids figure out my complicated bustle (seriously, she got on her hands and knees to help... did I mention she is amazing!?). We found Annmarie off of the preferred vendor list from Willowdale and we are so glad we did. She navigated the venue like it was her second home and it was really reassuring to work with someone who was an expert of the space since we had only visited a few times. Annmarie also delivered ahead of deadline - our entire wedding photo collection was delivered in 1 month (she said it would be 6 weeks). I am so grateful to Annmarie for helping to make our day so perfect and I am so impressed with her as a business woman and a talented photographer. I would recommend her services to anyone who is looking, you will absolutely not regret it!

Having Annmarie as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made!! Her photos are timeless and magical and from the moment I saw her work, I fell in love. Not only is she incredibly talented, she is so sweet, thoughtful, professional, and organized! She sent us so many helpful tips for our engagement shoot and made sure she was aware of all the details we felt were important for her to capture on our special day! My husband and I were planning our wedding from afar, so the first time we met Annmarie in person was the Monday before our wedding for our engagement shoot. We were a little nervous, but she made us feel comfortable and at ease. She has such an eye for lighting and the photos turned out absolutely amazing!! Additionally, she went out of her way to have them to us the day before our wedding! Her photo timeline/schedule which she created prior ensured our wedding day ran smoothly, even with her coordinating large group photos and individual formals. She had our edited gallery back to us in a timely manner and we are in absolute awe!! I can’t thank Annmarie enough for capturing our wedding day so perfectly, we will always cherish these photos!

It's impossible to say enough about Annmarie! From the moment we met her, we knew she was the perfect photographer for us -- her work is incredible, she's fun to be around, and she always made it clear that she would not stop working to give us the wedding experience of our dreams. Every moment we and our families spent around her was a joy, and she managed an enormous and complicated shot list with incredible ease. She took a ton of time before our wedding to talk to us about what we liked, what we didn't like, and what we wanted, and she put every single thing we talked to her about into practice during our wedding weekend. The results were incredible: photos that made our jaws drop and brought our families to tears! She captured all the little moments that were the most special to us, all the big things we would never want to forget, and everything in between. She made us feel comfortable all the time. She is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but also an incredibly kind person who loves making weddings special for those involved. We simply cannot recommend her highly enough!

In short, I cannot recommend Annmarie enough! Her high quality work coupled with her attention to detail, professionalism and ability to simultaneously manage and capture the day’s events are unrivaled! Hiring Annmarie was one of the best decisions we made! Now for the unabridged version: When my now husband Jon, and I began planning our wedding in 2019, having quality photographs was one of the most important aspects for us both. We knew that investing in a skilled photographer was essential, so I scoured wedding sites, Instagram, and local photography sites for hours! As soon as I came across Annmarie’s website, I fell in love! I immediately reached out. Annmarie was extremely responsive and quickly set up a call so we could meet. Within moments of our call, I knew we had to hire her! She is warm, professional, and incredibly passionate about her profession. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and understand the “vision” for our wedding. Annmarie was extremely thoughtful and informative on everything from ideal lighting times to permits we would need to pull. Since photos were so important to us, we decided to invest in a more expensive package, but it was worth every penny! Annmarie took gorgeous engagement pictures for us at the Boston Public Garden and Beacon Hill. She knew the best spots to get the best shots. I can be extremely awkward especially when taking photos, but Annmarie put us right at ease. Our engagement shots were beautiful yet natural looking. Unfortunately Jon and I were one of the many couples forced to postpone our July 2020 wedding. We scheduled a call with Annmarie to discuss the plan moving forward. During the call, I broke down. Our stress levels were at an all-time high as many of our vendors were charging us high fees to reschedule, which we simply could not afford. While COVID brought upon a lot of stress and anxiety for couples, our vendors were also dealing with many hardships brought upon from the pandemic. Annmarie was very reassuring and accommodating in working within our initial budget. She truly cared about us and ensuring that we would get the experience we wanted. We essentially chose our new date solely based on her availability! In the following year Annmarie ensured that every t was crossed and i was dotted before her maternity leave began. And even when we changed venues 3 months before our date, she jumped right back in and made the necessary changes without skipping a beat! Her flexibility and adaptability was so helpful when everything else felt chaotic. Leading up to the wedding, she scheduled calls to finalize timelines and ensure we were all on the same page to get our most cherished moments captured. The day of the wedding, she arrived on time with a calming yet controlled presence. Annmarie has an incredible ability to multi-task. She was able to maneuver through Boston traffic, wrangle our large family/wedding party and manage to get all of the photos taken (even with an epic child tantrum thrown in there) all with time to spare! In addition to her professionalism and skill, her photos are amazing! We were provided with 900 magazine-worthy photos in under 3 weeks! She is so incredibly talented at what she does. Our guests cannot stop raving about how gorgeous they turned out. Words truly can’t express how appreciative we are for Annmarie’s compassion, understanding, and willingness to go above and beyond to work with us and give us the wedding photos of our dreams!

I could truly write a novel on how much I love Annmarie. She has been with us since 2018 and has been so flexible with all of our pandemic-induced changes. She has been our biggest cheerleader from the very beginning. Annmarie is incredibly prompt in her correspondence, and it was always easily to communicate with her. Our engagement shoot was seamless and we loved how collaborative it felt. She really wanted a location that captured who we are as a couple, and worked hard to make sure we felt included in all decisions regarding the shoot. Plus, the end result was incredible. Annmarie was an absolute star-player at our wedding. I was worried all the photos would feel monotonous or stressful with so many people involved, but Annmarie kept everything moving so efficiently that I truly had so much fun taking pictures. She respected our desire for a more private first look but still got incredibly intimate shots. I truly felt like she captured the spirit of our day so perfectly. I have been sharing all her pictures abundantly on my social media, and everyone truly cannot stop raving about how well she captured the emotion and joy of the day. Looking through all the photos truly felt like I was reliving one of the best days ever. I can't recommend Annmarie highly enough!

I want to preface this with saying that I could go on for hours about how much I LOVED working with Annmarie. Not only can you not go wrong with her, you will be going SO SO right with booking her. She is an incredibly talented photographer but also a wonderful human being. My husband and I booked Annmarie in Fall 2018 after seeing her shoot multiple friends weddings. She shot our engagement photos, our micro wedding, and our larger wedding celebration. She took the time to get to know my husband and I, and while she was professional in all ways, I always felt like I was speaking to a friend. Not only was she was extremely responsive to my emails but she was proactive in her communications ensuring that I never wondered what to expect next. She was a HUGE support system when we postponed due to covid and then decided to hold a microwedding on short notice. On our wedding day, we experienced a lack of organization by our wedding planner and Annmarie truly stepped in and kept me sane and kept us organized. I am eternally grateful for her as a vendor and a human being, she truly is a rockstar!

Annmarie is an actual angel on Earth and I am thankful we booked her for our wedding. With all the craziness of our wedding during COVID - she showed so much flexibility and compassion. She even led us to a wonderful wedding planner to make our lives easier. I am so happy with how our pictures came out. They are truly so beautiful and we have gotten so many compliments! Annmarie is everything you could want in a photographer! She helped guide me in the rescheduling process due to COVID, and was always a calming presence. She was the first vendor I spoke with about rescheduling because there was no way I wanted a different photographer! She ended up shooting our “microwedding” and is going to shoot our larger event next year, too. I found out about Annmarie from a mutual friend who used her and when I looked at her social media, I knew we had to hire her! The way she edits her photos was exactly in line with what I was looking for. We got our wedding photos back a week ago and I can’t stop looking at them, they’re perfect! Also, on the day of the wedding, she was prompt and was super helpful in making sure everyone was where they needed to be for pictures and kept things moving. There's a reason why all of Annmarie's reviews are all spectacular and 5's. There are too many reasons to explain why she is the best in the business as well as just a great PERSON. If you are planning your wedding or if you already had your wedding, you understand and see how CRUCIAL and important your wedding photographer is. The photographer (in my eyes) is the most important vendor there! They are responsible for coordinating, managing a timeline and emotions both happy, sad, excitement, amongst the wedding party, guests, etc while making sure they are capturing your day as perfect as possible. Annmarie does that with perfection, and ease. She's experienced, professional, and organized and all around just knows what she's doing. The planning and prep questions she asks prior to the wedding and engagement sessions are all spot on and ensure that you (and her) are not missing anything important. She gets to know her couples- she wanted to know what was important to me and my husband and how we wanted our day to be captured. Getting married during 2020 is a whole other level of respect I have for Annmarie. All of my guests were blown away by our images and despite 2020, our wedding still looked like the perfect day- and while it was- Annmarie had a huge role to play in that. Making sure we all felt comfortable, safe, and still encouraged me (as the bride) to enjoy my day and this big step in our lives we were taking. No words, really. Thank you Annmarie, for everything, for documenting our day better than I could have ever imagined, and just for being a wonderful person and ray of light in the middle of this pandemic. We could go on and on about how wonderful Annmarie is, but from the first call with her, you’ll realize this yourself. She was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding, and believe me, we made a lot of decisions. As a person she is one of the kindest, warmest, most genuine, most fun and most thoughtful people we have ever met. We had originally planned a 200 person wedding but had to pivot to 25 due to COVID. The entire time as our plans changed, she was accommodating and supportive of whatever we wanted to do, and she helped us feel more excited about a small wedding. She went above and beyond, even scoping out areas to take photos a month prior to the wedding, since we don’t live in the Massachusetts area to have done it ourselves. She was an absolute angel! On the day itself, she was extremely organized, efficient, and FUN! We never felt rushed or awkward taking our formal photos. And can we talk about the photos themselves?!?! We received a preview shortly after our wedding day and my husband and I were dying looking through them. There truly wasn’t a single shot we didn’t love - and if you know women, you know how we can be annoyingly critical! ;) They were honestly some of the best wedding photos we have ever seen, and we’re not just saying that because they were our own. They were timeless and captured every emotion in the most genuine way. I’m getting goosebumps even talking about it. All of our friends and family kept describing our photos as “stunning” and “dreamy” and we couldn’t agree more. We cannot wait to get the full gallery! Annmarie is the absolute best wedding photographer in the Boston area! My husband and I hired Annmarie to capture our wedding in early June in Newport, RI, and we are so thrilled that we did! Annmarie was (is) incredible! We had the pleasure of working with her a few other times prior to our wedding - including our actual engagement - and just couldn't imagine having anyone else photograph our big day. We chose Annmarie to photograph our wedding because we loved her photos and she was very professional and friendly. It was one of the best decisions we made! I don't even know where to begin. We LOVE LOVE LOVE Annmarie. When we started planning our wedding, I found and booked Annmarie even before we had booked our venue. As you can easily tell from her images, Annmarie's photography is magic. She is incredibly talented and captures every little moment perfectly. I am beyond thrilled with both of our engagement pictures and the wedding preview she sent to us THE MORNING AFTER OUR WEDDING. We have gotten a million compliments on these pictures. But what makes Annmarie even more special is who she is as a human being. I tell everyone that I felt that Annmarie was my friend throughout this whole wedding process. She was patient and kind and truly wanted to help with every aspect of our wedding. I honestly will miss her now that our day is over! Annmarie is incredible. Just incredible.

Words cannot describe how much love I have for Annmarie. From the moment I first saw her photos I knew I had to have her as my future wedding photographer. As soon as I got engaged I contacted her (within hours) and planned my date around when she was available!! At our engagement shoot she made us instantly feel at ease as if we were just hanging with an old friend! My husband hates to take photos normally but Annmarie’s positive feedback and unbelievable personality gave him such confidence that radiates through her photos. Not to mention she is bubbly, fun and so extremely sweet! I feel that I have made a lifelong friend! She answered all of my crazy questions and helped with every detail - even down to if my husband should wear jeans or khakis to our engagement shoot (seems minor but was a huge decision I promise). She guided me through every step of the way ensuring that everything would be perfect and that I had no need to stress. The day of the wedding Annmarie and her partner were prompt and professional, rounding up everyone quickly and efficiently while still being kind and curtious. She even managed to know exactly how to fix my happy tear marks which ran through my makeup! We had a very small window to get photos accomplished before sundown and they absolutely nailed it! Within hours she had preview photos ready to show us during our reception and my jaw literally dropped. I am completely blown away!! Annmarie is so talented and has a natural eye for beautiful romantic shots. I cannot WAIT to see our full album and for our next future session together!

Pre-Wedding: Words cannot describe how happy we are with Annmarie! We met her in person for our engagement session, about 8-9 months before the wedding. Neither my husband nor I have ever been very comfortable being photographed (and usually hate the way we look in pictures) but she made us feel completely at ease. Any fears we had about being followed by a photographer for an entire day were completely squashed after our first session with her. Wedding Day: From the moment she arrived the day of, Annmarie was the perfect balance of professional and friendly, involved, yet out of the way, and aware, but not overbearing. She was positive and calm when she wanted to capture relaxed, natural moments -- but she was also assertive enough to make sure she got the best shots. Leading up to the wedding day, we discussed the way she would approach shooting at our venue, and how she would go about doing various photos including just the two of us, our wedding party, and family photos; this was accompanied by a realistic timeline of the day's events to leave plenty of time for all the photos. Annmarie’s organization, as well as her second shooter, allowed for us to enjoy our cocktail hour without feeling flustered or like a photo was missed with an important family member. She not only did a great job with the family formals, but worked hard to capture the brief moments that were actually important to us -- our first look, my mom bustling my gown, my brother tying my husband’s bow-tie, and so many others. For us, it was great to have someone who wanted to capture our day as it happened -- not tell us how she would be posing it. Post-Wedding: The morning after the wedding, I woke up to an e-mail in my inbox from Annmarie with about 10 fully edited photos from the night before – the wedding party, the first look, walking down the aisle, the first dance. All perfectly cropped and ready for sharing on social media (and no watermarks on any of her photos)! It was such a thoughtful move, and was so nice to be able to share a few photos without having to wait for the full gallery! Perhaps needless to say, the final gallery was also absolutely stunning. Overall, my husband and I were so incredibly happy with Annmarie throughout the whole process and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an energetic, talented, and passionate photographer. You not only get a photographer, but someone who is going to candidly capture your day in a way that lets you relive it for the rest of your lives! The best choice we made on our special day was having Annmarie as our photographer. Our day was perfectly captured!

On our wedding day, Annmarie captured each detail perfectly- from getting ready, to our ceremony, reception, and every special moment in between. I didn't know a photograph could truly capture all of the love we felt that day, but Annmarie's work did just that. She is talented beyond words and it truly shows in every picture. We are honored to have had her as our wedding photographer and will cherish our pictures for years to come!

I can't begin to explain how wonderful of a person and photographer Annmarie is!! She was, by far, my best vendor decision for our wedding day. She invested so much time in us - getting to understand what was important for pictures, general flow of our day, everything! She was extremely well-organized and responsive to all my e-mails. After seeing the end products of our pictures, WOW! She captured each moment so beautifully and I'm so lucky to have all of these 'picture perfect' moments that I can cherish for years!!

Annmarie and her husband were our photographers for our wedding at Misselwood and I could not be more pleased with them! I had no idea what i was looking for going into the wedding planning process and had a hard time deciding which photographers to reach out to. Annmarie Swift is incredible more than words. From every email, to our engagement shoot, to the day of, she is so organized and creative, and our pictures are evident of that. They are so beautiful and she got them to us fully edited in UNDER TWO WEEKS. Hundreds of beautiful photos that fast for a very busy and creative photographer is unheard of. She even did a day of edit at the wedding and had a few edited photos as a slideshow at the bar during our reception and people were amazed at the quality, as were we! She does so much more than weddings including family shoots, boudoir, trash the dress, maternity shoots, traveling, mini sessions, everything.
