e hall was at the reception tending bar. She was asked by the photographer if the air could be turned down as all the wedding party and the bride and groom had sweat dripping down there faces. She snapped at the photographer and told her the thermostat would not be turned down any lower than 70!!! There were over 300 people at this reception!!!!! This venue is not cheep and I feel if the people who rented the hall want the air turned down a little it should have happen. Gene was very rude!!! Not a good way to get referrals via word of mouth. I am a parishioner at Annunciation and will not consider renting this space when my children get married if Gene is still running things!!!!!!!!!

, about a month ago. She had told us that we wouldn't even have to pay in full until the day of. We told her that we planned to pay as soon as our tax return came in.
So we call her a few days ago to set up to give her the deposit, and she GAVE AWAY OUR DATE! She had written us down and we even had the contract with us. Told her we would be in touch, only to find out she gave it to someone who paid in full upfront. Unsure if she went with someone who would pay her faster or if she's really that unorganized, which is not a good thing when you are dealing with peoples' wedding days. What's even worse is we had to call HER to find this out. She acted like she had no idea. We're less than 7 months away from the wedding so it been a very stressful situation.
It's just a big open space. The ceilings were so tall...and it even had a disco ball! It easily fit 250 people with enough room for the buffet table cake table DJ and table a...
nd the dance floor. This is a great space for a great price!;I would warn other couples that the tables aren't in the best condition so make sure you have table cloths. Also the only chairs they offer are folding chairs. So if that isn't okay be sure you rent chair covers or chairs for the reception.
