Another One Ties The Knot

de everything feel warm, fun, and cute. All of our guests said she was the best officiant they'd ever seen. Thanks again Cherise, you're the best!

, she was warm, organized, and truly cared about making our ceremony personal and meaningful. She took the time to get to know us, incorporated our story beautifully, and delivered the ceremony with such grace and sincerity. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how heartfelt and genuine it felt. We’re so grateful she was part of our day — it wouldn’t have been the same without her! If you’re feeling nervous, anxious, or stressed about finding the perfect officiant, we HIGHLY recommend reaching out to Cherise.

de the process so incredibly easy. And it just kept getting better. The option to do private vows and shared vows before and during the ceremony made the day that much more special. But wow, the love story she wrote and shared during the ceremony before our vows made both of us cry after reading it. It was as if she'd known us for years. It was simply beautiful. And her ability to connect with people is truly special, so to say she's the best is an understatement. Thank you Cherise for being a part of such an important and amazing day for Kathy and I. We'll always look back on our wedding day and say, Cherise is just awesome! Thank you!!!

sitant about hiring someone we hadn’t met in person. But Cherise quickly put us at ease. She sent us a thoughtful couples questionnaire that gave us plenty of time to complete, even while juggling all the wedding chaos. It was such a meaningful part of the process—she used our responses as the foundation for the story she told during our ceremony, which made it feel deeply personal and true to us. The package we selected also gave us space to share our story, talk through ceremony details, and express what we did and didn’t want included. Cherise truly made us feel heard and valued. On the big day, she arrived right on time and brought exactly the energy we were hoping for. Highly recommend!

l and so custom to our love story. I highly, highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you so much!

but not too long. We added on a rehearsal with her since we didn't have a wedding planner/day-of coordinator and it was well worth it! Cherise was incredibly organized, prepared, and such a wonderful person to work with. We received so many compliments from our guests on her officiating and the script she created. Cherise is easygoing, charismatic, and such a kind person! We wholeheartedly recommend her!

ed our officiant and how beautiful the ceremony was. She even gave us the cards that had the ceremony script printed on them after the ceremony was done. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I am so glad that we had Cherise be a part of our perfect day.

tions and concerns and helped us craft the ceremony we wanted. We still hear from people who attended our wedding, praising the ceremony and how lovely it was. Cherise was simply awesome and helped shape a memory for both of us that we will hold closest to our hearts for the rest of our lives. We could not be more grateful for her work and are so happy with our decision to have her as our officiant.

The script was personalized, beautiful and spoke like the poet she is. Multiple guests commented on how wonderful her words were. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive the ceremony script on paper as memento to cherish and reflect on. Cannot wait to work with her again in 2025 with our clients!

nge our ceremony location last minute, she handled everything with grace and positivity, making the transition feel seamless. Her presence added a special touch to our ceremony, and her words truly resonated with us and our guests. She was genuinely invested in our love story, and it showed. We felt so at ease knowing we were in her capable hands. Thanks to her, our day was nothing short of blissful. We highly recommend Cherise to anyone looking for a kind, professional, and truly wonderful officiant!

of those things and creates a remarkable and personal experience for your wedding. If you're worried about having a cookie cutter wedding ceremony, then you should definitely go with this officiant. She knows how to create in modern and spiritual ceremony that includes everyone. And makes it very personal to the bride and groom she is working with. A lot of times people don't take into consideration. How important the officiant will be, but they can really set the mood for the rest of the day. We recorded our daughter's wedding and the ceremony is going to be something beautiful that we can remember each and every time we watch it. Thank you Cherise for making my daughter's wedding perfect!

, she recommended a ring warming tradition that felt so special, she helped us write our vows and helped us get all of the marriage license paperwork in order. She is very professional and comfortable to talk to. Thank you Cherise for helping us celebrate our love in a way that felt so authentically us!

mony to go. She is so much fun, and shares our love of Crocs so you know she's a good time! We loved working with her and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant!

get to know us as a couple and crafted a custom ceremony that perfectly captured our love story. On the day of the wedding, Cherise arrived on-time and was a calming presence as we went through final preparations. Her delivery of our short ceremony was heartfelt. We cannot recommend Cherise highly enough. She is a truly wonderful officiant who will make your wedding/elopement day that much more magical. Thank you, Cherise, for being such an integral part of our special day!

at attitude and amazing attention to detail. I will recommend Cherise to everyone!

ew coming from out of state with us. We loved the little touches she added to the ceremony like the ring warming. It definitely added something special to our day. Her words during the ceremony were so touching and true to us as a couple. Highly, highly recommend her for all your officiant needs. Thank you for making our day that much more special!

erise approaches each couple as uniquely as they are, and despite not knowing her before all of this, her process of questionnaires and a few virtual meetings made it very easy to help create the content of our ceremony (no religious elements and no bridal party for us), including being graceful and patient as we provided edits to the script. Cherise truly has a gift for words, and her presence, joy, and awareness of the smallest details throughout the ceremony are unmatched and make a huge difference. We received tons and tons of compliments from our guests on Cherise’s words and eloquent presence as she helped make our day what it was! My only wish is that we could have had more time to celebrate with her!

or a bit there) She incorporated our story, humor and sass and of course a bit of geek into our ceremony - and was more than happy to work with my best friend (and a maid of honor) to do a handfasting as well ^-^ She helped with timing and vow writing and even managed to print them out for us day of because we forgot to! 5 stars is not enough - 100/10 - hands down would recommend again and again. We cannot thank you enough - and apricate everything you've done!!! <3 Sami & Jaime <3

t very personal to us. We got to choose from a selection of vows to share. Cherise wrote a beautiful ceremony script telling our love story. I also asked if the ceremony could honor my mom, who has passed, and Cherise did so very eloquently. Overall, the ceremony was exactly what we were looking for - short and sweet and beautiful. She is very organized, professional, and kind. Thank you Cherise! Would highly recommend.

y and personalizing our vows. We received so many compliments from guests on how amazing she was. Cherise is incredibly down to earth, funny and absolutely incredible at what she does! Highly recommend having her as a part of your day!

out exactly what we had to do with plenty of reminders and created a beautiful ceremony just for us based on our journey together, our personalities as well as the beautiful rainforest backdrop we had wanted. We ended up incorporating a modified handfasting ritual involving our family members we made the moment extra special. Cherise definitely made our special day so much less stressful, and she was professional throughout the entire experience. There's no better officiant we could've asked for!

d for any concerns we had, she was able to answer them. You can tell that she enjoys what she does. Cherise is on top of everything and checked in as necessary. We really appreciated that, especially when wedding planning could get overwhelming with other things happening simultaneously. She also provided options and tools when it came to our script and writing vows, which made it less daunting to tackle. She did an amazing job setting the tone on our wedding day and we loved that she put personal touches to our ceremony. We are so happy to have her at our wedding. Thank you Cherise!

eet the spirit of our wedding ceremony. Cherise was very communicative, fast to respond and genuinely helpful and kind. We filled out a questionnaire, had a video meet and a phone chat before the ceremony to make sure everything was perfect. She gave clear instructions and timely email reminders to keep us on track to apply for our marriage license; payment was simple and easy through her website. Cherise suggested a ring warming for our small intimate group of 20 guests which we absolutely loved! We highly recommend Cherise and we’re grateful and honored that she officiated ours. thing go smoothly.

(he's a pastor), but he couldn't travel to Seattle, WA. So we did what a lot of other couples do, and we turned to Wedding Wire and The Knot for a list of officiants. We reached out to a handful that we liked and met with a few, but hands down, Cherise was by far the coolest, the most caring, understanding, communicative, and helpful. She genuinely wanted to get to know us and felt like this bright, warm, knowledgeable, and funny friend we'd known for years. After our consultation, we didn't even want to meet with anyone else (lol). We did, but it was unanimously clear she was the best choice. We're so glad we did too. She was helpful every step of the way, easing our fears, and confusion around how ceremonies are "supposed to go." She really wanted to tell our love story and make it a cool, modern, and relaxed ceremony. It wasn't stuffy (I did not want a stuffy ceremony), and it wasn't dragged on (I did not want a 45-minute ceremony; honestly, ours was probably 15 minutes, and it was perfect, especially because half of our guests had to sit in the hot sun). She also attended our rehearsal and helped us navigate that really well. She's VERY experienced and very fun to work with. We didn't want a very religious ceremony, but we weren't anti-religion either, so she kept it right in that sweet spot where it didn't offend ANYBODY. I even wrote her a message about some of the things I wanted her to say, and she said it verbatim. I thanked her for that, and she said, "If a couple tells me something they want said, I'm not going to change it thinking I can write it better than them." It was perfect. She added her own words to the ceremony as well that fit just right. She stepped out of the way before pronouncing us husband and wife, so she wasn't in the photo for the first kiss too. We got several compliments on her as our officiant (and my friends and family have no problems telling me how they really feel about something). She did a great job, and I definitely recommend her if you want the kind of ceremony we did. Thank you again, Cherise. Hopefully, we will work together on a different wedding soon (we're musicians [we co-run The Afterparty Band in Seattle], so we perform for a lot of weddings). :-) ~Tristin and Jeff Heiser

were working with her, it was like working with a friend. She was super professional and easy going and easy to talk to. She made everything feel easy and helped calm the nerves on the big day. Overall, we would highly recommend Cherise for anyone's big day!

ng than Cherise. Without her it would not have been as magical as it was. My whole family loved her! I’ve attended multiple weddings and the officiant never left much of an impression on me. I always found that their speeches sounded “samey”. With Cherise I felt the opposite. Her speech came off really heartfelt, flowed beautifully, and somehow the tone felt as if she knew us personally for many years even though we had only met her that day!! Finally, It warrants a mention that our marriage license paperwork was delayed so on the day of our ceremony we could not officially sign our papers and were not legally married quite yet. The delayed papers worried us leading up to the day of the ceremony as we thought it would negatively affect the ceremony somehow. Cherise quickly put our minds at ease and let us know that the ceremony would go on as planned. She then offered to meet with us once we received our paperwork in the mail at a later date to finish the signing. Well we received our papers a few days after the ceremony and thanks to Cherise’s willingness to meet up with us, my fiancée and I were officially married a few days later. Cherise was very professional and extremely accommodating throughout the whole process. We cannot recommend her enough!! Thank you for being wonderful Cherise!

lar! It was easy to create a ceremony with the verbiage that we wanted. Were not from the state of WA so having her handle the marriage license after the wedding was super helpful and relieve us the stress of doing it ourselves. Furthermore Cherise made everything easy from day one and it definitely showed on the wedding day as both of us felt at ease with her as our officiant!

l and care I couldn’t believe it was about us! We even had a baby in between me hiring her and the wedding and even took the time to include him in our vows! She approaches you as if you were friends for years and took the time to explain everything! I would definitely hire her again for renewal’s when that time comes!

ate marriage license and Cherise helped us get it all figured out and made our day PERFECT!!!

for the ceremony, and reviewing each of our personal vows to ensure they’d mesh well. On the day of our wedding, she provided such a calm, positive energy, and created such a personal and beautiful ceremony for us. We have received so many comments about how people assumed she was our friend and have heard over and over that people loved the sentiment in our ceremony. We loved working with Cherise, and recommend her without hesitation!

was marrying us. She helped us throughout the whole process and had the most amazing energy! If we were to do it all over again, we would 1,000% pick Cherise!

even nervous in front of all the people she made us feel so at ease. My husband and I kept cracking jokes at each other during the ceremony and she rolled with it like a pro. I have been getting texts raving about her and asking how long we have been friends which I think shows how comfortable we were with her! Thank you for making our day easy and even more beautiful!

rofessional and will def recommend.

she customized her pieces to include stories we had shared and our fur babies! She also told us about a really fun way to seal our ceremony with a shot, which our guests and wedding party loved. We received so many compliments after the wedding as well on the ceremony with folks specifically asking about Cherise! 10/10 would recommend!

to all our friends.

so extremely patient and helpful. We did not exactly make her job easy but she delivered a beautiful ceremony that had my dad in tears the whole time, and us beaming. Cherise took care to understand a few Jewish traditions, learned the tone of the ceremony we envisioned, and was a complete professional; I'd absolutely recommend her.

ul and the vow writing guide she provided was super helpful (along with a pep talk the week before my wedding about writing my own vows). Cherise was very easy to contact throughout the process over email and text. When the county called us about an issue with our marriage license while still on our honeymoon, Cherise took care of everything so we didn't need to!

ions, all the way to the day-of, Cherise thoughtfully guided us through the process and helped us determine what we wanted our ceremony to look like. Choosing Cherise to perform our ceremony was truly one of the best decisions we made. For not having met each other in real life until the day-of the wedding, Cherise created an incredibly beautiful ceremony and described my husband and I's relationship perfectly and truly captured the essence of us. We highly recommend working with Cherise to officiate your wedding -- 100%!! Thank you for creating a perfect ceremony, Cherise! You are amazing! - Hannah & Alex

mmunicate with and helped us to include a special tree planting ceremony. I would without a doubt pick Cherise again to be our officiant!!

o pivot to a new and more enjoyable site. Even though we only got to know Cherise a few weeks before our wedding, she made us both incredibly comfortable and it felt like she had known us for months or years. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect and matched both of our personalities. We would highly recommend Cherise for your wedding ceremony!

for a punctual, friendly, open minded, and fun Officiant- and here she is! She showed up and ran the show with nothing more than a couple emails and phone calls with the bride to go off of. It was so smooth and well done, we will recommend her over and over again. Thanks Cherise, you rock!

cky to have found her, she really made planning the ceremony a breeze. I loved that she really took the time to know us and our story before the day. She even happily accommodated our request to have her come back and sign our wedding license the next day at a brunch because we preferred that date. We would definitely recommend her to friends and family!
