We booked Cherise for our micro wedding at Treehouse Point and we would highly recommend her! She got to know us and then created a ceremony script that was completely unique to us, she recommended a ring warming tradition that felt so special, she helped us write our vows and helped us get all of the marriage license paperwork in order. She is very professional and comfortable to talk to. Thank you Cherise for helping us celebrate our love in a way that felt so authentically us!

Cherise knocked our ceremony out of the park! Her intake process was so thorough and we loved that she asked so many questions and gave us so many options of how we wanted the ceremony to go. Cherise is the best officiant in the business! We consider ourselves lucky to have worked with her and are blessed that she presided over our ceremony and helped tell our story. Cherise approaches each couple as uniquely as they are, and despite not knowing her before all of this, her process of questionnaires and a few virtual meetings made it very easy to help create the content of our ceremony (no religious elements and no bridal party for us), including being graceful and patient as we provided edits to the script. Cherise truly has a gift for words, and her presence, joy, and awareness of the smallest details throughout the ceremony are unmatched and make a huge difference. We received tons and tons of compliments from our guests on Cherise’s words and eloquent presence as she helped make our day what it was! Cherise made our ceremony one to remember - she worked with me from the greeting to the big day - and never made me feel rushed or a burden! (I may have been a little email happy for a bit there) She incorporated our story, humor and sass and of course a bit of geek into our ceremony - and was more than happy to work with my best friend (and a maid of honor) to do a handfasting as well ^-^ She helped with timing and vow writing and even managed to print them out for us day of because we forgot to! 5 stars is not enough - 100/10 - hands down would recommend again and again. Cherise is wonderful! We went with her Perfectly Personalized Ceremony, and it was just that - perfectly personalized. While we did not want to write our own vows, the ceremony felt very personal to us. We got to choose from a selection of vows to share. Cherise wrote a beautiful ceremony script telling our love story. I also asked if the ceremony could honor my mom, who has passed, and Cherise did so very eloquently. Overall, the ceremony was exactly what we were looking for - short and sweet and beautiful. She is very organized, professional, and kind. Thank you Cherise! Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience working with Cherise! We planned an elopement out to Olympic National park but neither me nor my wife had been there before (or eloped)! Cherise laid out exactly what we had to do with plenty of reminders and created a beautiful ceremony just for us based on our journey together, our personalities as well as the beautiful rainforest backdrop we had wanted. We ended up incorporating a modified handfasting ritual involving our family members we made the moment extra special. Cherise definitely made our special day so much less stressful, and she was professional throughout the entire experience. There's no better officiant we could've asked for!

Cherise is an exceptional officiant, fantastic orator and beautiful human. She took the time to know more about us, dialing into our personalities assembling words to beautifully meet the spirit of our wedding ceremony. She gave clear instructions and timely email reminders to keep us on track to apply for our marriage license; payment was simple and easy through her website. Cherise was actually recommended to us by another officiant we reached out to on Wedding Wire, who wasn't available for our date. Initially, my uncle was going to be our officiant (he's a pastor), but he couldn't travel to Seattle, WA. So we did what a lot of other couples do, and we turned to Wedding Wire and The Knot for a list of officiants. We reached out to a handful that we liked and met with a few, but hands down, Cherise was by far the coolest, the most caring, understanding, communicative, and helpful. She genuinely wanted to get to know us and felt like this bright, warm, knowledgeable, and funny friend we'd known for years. After our consultation, we didn't even want to meet with anyone else (lol). We did, but it was unanimously clear she was the best choice. We're so glad we did too. She was helpful every step of the way, easing our fears, and confusion around how ceremonies are "supposed to go." She really wanted to tell our love story and make it a cool, modern, and relaxed ceremony. It wasn't stuffy (I did not want a stuffy ceremony), and it wasn't dragged on (I did not want a 45-minute ceremony; honestly, ours was probably 15 minutes, and it was perfect, especially because half of our guests had to sit in the hot sun). She also attended our rehearsal and helped us navigate that really well. She's VERY experienced and very fun to work with. We didn't want a very religious ceremony, but we weren't anti-religion either, so she kept it right in that sweet spot where it didn't offend ANYBODY. I even wrote her a message about some of the things I wanted her to say, and she said it verbatim. I thanked her for that, and she said, "If a couple tells me something they want said, I'm not going to change it thinking I can write it better than them." It was perfect. She added her own words to the ceremony as well that fit just right. She stepped out of the way before pronouncing us husband and wife, so she wasn't in the photo for the first kiss too. We got several compliments on her as our officiant (and my friends and family have no problems telling me how they really feel about something). She did a great job, and I definitely recommend her if you want the kind of ceremony we did. Thank you again, Cherise. Cherise was awesome! She kept us on track to ensure we got all of our ceremony and license items in order, and helped us make our ceremony unique and applicable to us. And when we were working with her, it was like working with a friend. She was super professional and easy going and easy to talk to. Where do I start?? I have sooo many great things to say about Cherise! She officiated our wedding on 12/17/22 and looking back I couldn’t imagine anyone else officiating our wedding than Cherise. Without her it would not have been as magical as it was. My whole family loved her! I’ve attended multiple weddings and the officiant never left much of an impression on me. I always found that their speeches sounded “samey”. With Cherise I felt the opposite. Her speech came off really heartfelt, flowed beautifully, and somehow the tone felt as if she knew us personally for many years even though we had only met her that day!! Finally, It warrants a mention that our marriage license paperwork was delayed so on the day of our ceremony we could not officially sign our papers and were not legally married quite yet. The delayed papers worried us leading up to the day of the ceremony as we thought it would negatively affect the ceremony somehow. Cherise quickly put our minds at ease and let us know that the ceremony would go on as planned. She then offered to meet with us once we received our paperwork in the mail at a later date to finish the signing. Well we received our papers a few days after the ceremony and thanks to Cherise’s willingness to meet up with us, my fiancée and I were officially married a few days later. Cherise was very professional and extremely accommodating throughout the whole process. We cannot recommend her enough!! Thank you for being wonderful Cherise!

Don't get me wrong we love a traditional wedding ceremony with all the usual verbiage but we love non-traditional even more! With Cherise our ceremony was nothing short of spectacular! It was easy to create a ceremony with the verbiage that we wanted. Were not from the state of WA so having her handle the marriage license after the wedding was super helpful and relieve us the stress of doing it ourselves. Furthermore Cherise made everything easy from day one and it definitely showed on the wedding day as both of us felt at ease with her as our officiant!

Cherise is the nicest person that I had the pleasure to work with. She is very thoughtful, detailed, communicative and professional. She was able to tell our story in so much detail and care I couldn’t believe it was about us! We even had a baby in between me hiring her and the wedding and even took the time to include him in our vows! She approaches you as if you were friends for years and took the time to explain everything! I would definitely hire her again for renewal’s when that time comes!

It was the perfect touch to make us feel united even more at the alter. I had also asked her to read a Native American blessing over us to represent my family heritage and it sounded beautiful! We were so happy with our decision to hire Cherise from beginning to end. Not only was she communicative, prompt, and professional, but also a really kind and cool person as well. Cherise was an incredible officiant! We searched for a long time to find someone that we felt a connection with. After a brief phone call to get to know each other, we knew that she would be the perfect person to officiate our wedding. She was kind, easy to talk to, friendly, and really took the time to get to know us and ask about our life and relationship so that she could create a personalized ceremony. We knew that we wanted to add in some sort of unity ceremony, but didn't know exactly what. Cherise suggested handfasting and ring warming to help include our family that was attending. These two simple additions really made our ceremony feel special and personal. Our ceremony also took place near Cannon Beach, OR and Cherise had no problem traveling to us despite being outside of her usual locations. She was also super flexible and patient with us when we were running late getting to the ceremony site from our Airbnb. She submitted our marriage license paperwork right away- our offical marriage license was processed and waiting for us before we even got home to North Carolina! I really loved working with Cherise, and I'm so glad that we were able to use her as our officiant. She really helped make the most special day of our lives even more personal and meaningful.

Cherise was amazing! I was blown away at how beautiful our ceremony was because of her words and her presence. With very little back and forth she came up with something that felt extremely personal, like we’d known her for years. Searching for an officiant online when you don’t know someone personally is very daunting but I got a great feeling from her, went with that, and we were so so happy with our ceremony. She helped coordinate the documents and signatures with ease. On the pandemic front as a very small detail bonus, the ppe she wore during the ceremony was clear and almost invisible; it was nice to be able to see her mouth as she spoke during the ceremony. Cherish was absolutely wonderful. I loved how personal and sweet her words were. We didn't really know what to expect, so I thought we'd just have a generic cermony, but everything she said was so specific to who we are as a couple. It was perfect and added to a perfect day.

We did a quickie elopement and I wasn’t expecting much, but Cherish said the sweetest words and gave us a cute card and gift! She was very flexible with us and straight forward about everything. When the time is right we will definitely be welcoming her to officiate for us again.
