Wow! Our wedding at this venue was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Every question, request, and last-minute detail was handled with kindness and professionalism, which made the entire planning process so much less stressful. The venue itself was absolutely stunning. The setup was beautiful, every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and it created such an intimate, elegant atmosphere for our wedding. We received countless compliments from our guests all night long about how gorgeous the venue was. The food was another highlight. So many of our guests told us it was some of the best wedding food they'd ever had, and everything was served beautifully and on time. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy every moment of our day. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important occasion. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing team that genuinely cares about making your event unforgettable, we can't recommend this place highly enough!

Absolutely stunning venue! We did not directly communicate with Anthology a lot because we had a wonderful wedding planner but when we did, they were great. The tasting experience was so much fun and memorable! The wedding itself was gorgeous! The girls got ready in the Terrace Club, then we were married in the Linden Room, had cocktail hour at Kamper's Rooftop Lounge, & reception in the Conservatory. All beautiful spaces! The food was delicious, we received so many compliments from our guests! Thank you for creating such a memorable day for us and our guests!

e the process seamless. From the moment we entered the hotel-- from hotel staff, the venue staff, the Kamper staff, the Bar Rotunda staff, we felt special. We were always asked what can we do to help? Do you need anything? Our wedding had 145 people and was perfect. Had a stage for a band and great food all night long. The views of Detroit made for great pictures and our guests loved the beauty that the Book Tower has. It is warm and inviting. It truly is a remarkable venue and we highly recommend it. The versatile spaces worked perfectly for each part of the day, and the rooftop cocktail hour space was such a unique highlight—our guests are still talking about it. The food was also incredible and exceeded our expectations. We did experience some delayed email communication early in the planning process, but everything came together beautifully in the end. Overall, it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding!

nts made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. The Conservatory was a magical space, but what made the difference was the outstanding service and hospitality that was shown to us. Julia was a delight to work with from the beginning, and I appreciated how she promptly answered the thousands of questions I sent her way over the past few months. Charles was so kind to meet us from the minute we arrived to set up on the day of the dinner, and he, too, made what is usually a hectic time go so smoothly. Additionally, there is no end to the nice things that I could say about Robert and his service to our family that night. He anticipated our needs before we knew we had them, and he had solutions in place before I even told him there was a problem. He was so gracious in handling our last minute fluctuating guest count, and when some children arrived, who were not expected to be there, he quickly added a place setting and ordered a child’s meal before I asked him to do so. I have never seen someone so well suited for their job – he is the definition of hospitality. Again, the entire evening went so smoothly and was full of so many precious memories for my family and our friends. I recommend Anthology Events with my highest praise.

he Pros: Book Tower is a gorgeous wedding venue. The space is why we booked here. The day of team was great - the meal was served very efficiently, the food was warm and good, and the bartenders were very friendly. We received a ton of compliments from our guests on both the venue and the food. Cons: Communication with Anthology events was poor throughout the planning process. From initial outreach, they were hard to get ahold of (myself, my mom, and my fiancee each had to reach out via email & phone to get an initial tour). Our event manager left mid-process, and we received no communication from Anthology that she had left or who would be our new point of contact. We were disappointed by the tasting process as it's not in-line with other venues. They only let you try the exact number of items you eventually order, so you don't get to try multiple things and pick your favorites. The invoice/billing process was also frustrating - if you work with them, take screenshots of each invoice they send (their system is a live invoice tool, they will update quantitates & prices throughout the process and have no version control to communicate the changes made) and do not keep a credit card on file as they will submit charges on your card without authorization.

We had such a great experience with the Anthology Events team, Lauren was always super responsive and collaborative throughout the planning process and Maggie ensured everything was flawless on wedding day. The food is excellent, drinks were on point, the staff was friendly and attentive. They really went the extra mile to make sure we had a beautiful day, they even provided sweetheart tray of our cocktail hour bites for us to enjoy privately in the bridal suite and those first few moments alone together as husband and wife were so appreciated. I highly recommend Book Tower, you really couldn’t ask for a more beautiful, modern Detroit venue or a better staff.

Kamper's Rooftop overlooking the city , to the beautiful atrium reception and the after party - everything was wonderful and the service was amazing. Our guests raved about the food, the ambiance, and the bar was second to none! No one wanted to leave which made the after party a little larger than expected but that was a good thing. The planning was smooth from start to finish. Communication was excellent and they were very flexible with special requests we made. The space is perfect for up to 175 guests with a dance floor.

The cocktail hour was incredible between the rooftop views and the delicious hours d’oeuvres and people were raving over the dinner course! The day exceeded any expectation I could have imagined. They have thought of everything to make your special day seamless and perfect.
