I see great reviews for Anthony, which was prior to my August 2013 wedding, when we hired Anthony. He was a great photographer and a delight to work with DURING our wedding HOWEVER his follow through has been horrible! It's been over 2 years and we have NOT received our Wedding Album (hard copy) that we paid for in advance. We emailed him a few months after our wedding just to follow up, he responded with a draft of the album. We replied back with our edits but then a few more months went by and we hadn't received our album. 9 months later we attempted to follow up with him again, that's when he informed us of his diagnosis and that he had to stop doing photography but that he was having someone else work on our album for us. So we were patient...We came to our 1st year anniversary and thought we would follow up with him AGAIN. He re-sent us the draft asking us to make edits, we reminded him that we already did that but re-sent our edits for a second time. 1 yr and 6 months later, still no paid for wedding album. Since then we have contacted him countless times, by phone, text, email, website, even social media, yet have received no response. We've seen him active on instagram even on tv and you tube, we even attempted to contact his new bride, who is also a wedding photographer, but have not heard back from either of them. We have been torn about what to do with this breach of contract, if you will, because we have been very understanding and patient of his circumstances and continue to patiently wait for our wedding album. But I must say it is a little troubling and confusing to see him very active on social media,TV, even traveling across sea, getting engaged and getting married but yet he has not had any consideration to respond to us? At least to contact us to say that he lost the album or that he forgot about us, some kind of communication would be appropriate AT THE LEAST. The reason we were being patient was because of his circumstances but after talking with several people, even other wedding photographers, just to get their opinions on the matter, most people think that we have been swindled. We try to convince them with footage of Anthony on youtube and television, proving his diagnosis, and that he really stopped doing photography, people still say that the reality is no matter what that professional's personal circumstances are, business is business so if a wedding album was included and paid for than that’s what we should receive. Is there any other couple out there that this has happened to? If so, please advise us on what to do at this point. Were we the only clients toward the end of his career that he decided to neglect finishing his service to in hopes that we would forget about it? Are there any August to December 2013 clients of his that did receive their wedding album? If so, then we have a bigger problem. At this point we have done all we could to contact him, even kept him updated on our contact info. I’m not sure what to do at this point. Anthony, if you are reading this please know we are not angry, we just want our wedding album. Please, please, be courteous and professional and respond to us and provide us with the album that we paid for, or our money back. Thank you!

Anthony is absolutely AMAZING! I cannot begin to express how great he is. We would give him the highest recommendation for any event (and he does now do more than just weddings - and is willing to travel outside of SD for events). He is professional, has amazing equipment, is fun, and most important....he makes the day all about you. Though not the cheapest photographer out there - I guarantee you that he is worth every penny and more. The value for the price is unbelievable. You will not regret it! One of the greatest things about him, is his positive attitude. He clearly loves what he's doing, and he share that love with his clients. He brings out those natural smiles you want on your big day. He visited our venue twice, just to make sure he knew what he would need the day of (even though he didn't have to do that under our contract). He knows all the classic shots to get, and takes care of them without disturbing you...and then he looks for the magic as it happens. In some of our friends photo's we see him getting pictures at special moments when we didn't even realize he was there. He also took down time to look for amazing picture opportunities, and would ask us if we wanted to step away to get the picture when we had a free moment - which was great, because he didn't interrupt the flow of the wedding, or anything we were enjoying...but at the same time he made sure we didn't miss an opportunity. He is super creative, and loves to just take in what's happening in the moment, so everything feels very natural...not forced. We cannot provide a high enough recommendation for Anthony!!!!

WOW. I have followed Anthony's work for about a year now and I am awe-struck with each frame he shares. As a fellow photographer, I hold a pretty high standard to wedding photographers. I value the lasting memories that are created by wedding photographs. I knew that when my best friend got engaged, Anthony was the one for the job. At first Emma was sceptical to having someone come from California to Ontario and the potential distance and travel issues that could arise leading up to the big day. Anthony has incredible communication skills and made her feel comfortable from the second he connected with Emma. He checked in several times during the process to share information and to ask for input about the wedding day. We officially met Anthony over wine a few nights before the wedding in Canada. He is so positive, happy, and knowledgeable about his profession. On the wedding day he was prepared, fun to be around, and worked very hard to capture special moments. I had so many people comment to me on how incredible he was. It was extremely nice for me as a photographer to be able to enjoy the day, as I trust his quality of work so much that I did not feel I needed to rush around capturing moments while trying to be a part of them at the same time. I can not recommend Anthony enough if you are looking for someone who is personable and professional, and who is truly an expert in his field. My husband and I hired Anthony to photograph our wedding after thoroughly researching quite a few other photographers. We were very impressed by Anthony's portfolio. His photos are consistently gorgeous, and he has a remarkable eye for capturing moments between people. Having Anthony there on the day of the wedding was a pleasure; he is friendly and kind. He gives good direction to the subjects of the formal photos so that the pictures come out great. He really enjoys what he does, and that comes across in his demeanor and in his photos. Furthermore, the digital photos were available less than 2 weeks after the wedding, which was great! We absolutely love our pictures. I would hire Anthony again in a heartbeat.

Of all my vendors, I researched the hardest for my photographer and when I found Anthony, I immediately stopped looking. I found a real connection with Anthony. He listens to his brides...even his grooms! Even better, his interest with you goes beyond what happens on your wedding day. He truly looks for the chemistry; not only between you and your partner and how you came to be a couple; your strengths, weaknesses and overall dynamic, but he also looks for the chemistry between you (the couple) and him. Anthony wears many hats when he is your photographer. He's first and foremost your wedding photographer, but also your coordinator, your dress fluffer, your cheerleader, your mirror, your runner for anything you may have possibly forgotten and above all, he is your friend. He's there right beside you to laugh at the funny moments, shed a tear at the touching ones and the best part is...whatever touches his soul, he automatically raises his camera to capture that moment in time. --I wish I could have him wherever I go. Anthony is one of a kind. He puts 100% of himself in his work and it shows. At the time that we hired Anthony as our photographer he was going through some changes to his portfolio, we hired him so far out from our wedding date that when the time the wedding came, his packages had changed entirely. His new packages consisted of an assistant photographer and seeing that we were under his previous contract, I didn't think to ask him how much his assistant photographer would cost to add him in ours. Instead, he surprised us by including his assistant to us at no extra cost so that we could benefit from such a great deal. Anthony is all about helping the craft of photography along and teaches those who are willing to learn. The day before the wedding he called and asked if an up and coming photographer can tag along to watch what he does and take a few photographs of her own; and of all his contracted weddings; our wedding was the one that he wanted this new photographer to shadow. I was touched! Not to mention he was so kind to practically give me three photographers for the price of just him?! I was so blessed!! The one thing I remember him saying was, "I love capturing love. If you have no problem showing it, you make my job easy." Anthony's eye for detail is remarkable. With one photograph, Anthony has an ability to capture life's candid moments that not only make you speechless but can make your jaw drop and make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. He takes the simplicity in the everyday and makes them extraordinary; that's the talent that I got to work with for my engagement session and wedding. Anthony goes above and beyond the call of duty and will do what it takes to make sure that he can help you have a memorable wedding day. Not only did Anthony keep himself at my disposal in every way possible from our very first meeting up to the day of my wedding, my (new) husband and I found a lasting friendship with Anthony that exceeds far beyond our wedding day. (We will be doing a couple's date soon!!)

Well that's how we felt the moment we met up with Anthony for a consultation. It does help that he's in his mid to late 20's just like us and he skateboards, but either way he's full of passion and humility. Definitely not the type to stand around and just take boring photos prestaged and whatnot, but he was full of passion, directing us on what to do, getting down on the floor to get the perfect shot, running through bushes to get that once in a lifetime photo. Ive been to many weddings growing up as a kid and Anthony is that new age/younger breed of photographers that seek to get those perfect shots. No need to hit up yellowpages and pay for a packaged deal that gets you 4 lame dudes standing around snapping everywhere. Anthony took care of everything, trust me when I say that he CAN be in 2 places at one time. He will capture those moments and our pictures turned out perfect. Coming from a groom, I didnt really care who was photographing the wedding, just as long as he/she was cheap. But after meeting up with Anthony and shooting our engagement photos I realized what a steal he was and got more excited on how our wedding photos would turn out. I actually posted more Engagement photos on my facebook more than my wife haha We clicked immediately, I believe his humility is what got me. He is very open and honest, not stuck up or a know-it-all. Sometimes these attributes count when it comes to picking a photographer because he will actually listen to what you want. He got along with my groomsmen and I know the wifey loved him.And to top it all off he partied with us toward the end of the wedding! There's not much more that I can say about my experience with him, but if you are looking for a phenomenal professional photographer who will make you feel comfortable and feel like your'e with a close friend, Anthony is the man. Unfortunately, it usually doesn't work the other way around.....

Unfortunately, we were unable to meet Anthony in person before our wedding because we planned everything out-of-state. However, upon meeting him the first time we knew he was going to be the perfect photographer and he did not disappoint! Anthony is truly an artist and goes above-and-beyond to make sure that he makes you happy. He answers every email/phone call promptly and is always very courteous and polite. On the day of the wedding all of our guests and family commented on Anthony's professionalism and ability to blend in with the crowd yet still capture all of the special moments. Our photos were phenomenal, as well as our album, and we could not have asked for more! He listened to all of our ideas and captured all of the beautiful moments we wanted and more. There is nothing we would have changed and are so happy to have met him and feel truly blessed and honored that he photographed our wedding day (we only wish he lived closer so that he could continue to capture all of the special moments in our lives)! Throughout my wedding planning, I was consistently adamant that choosing a photographer was the most important decision. I did endless theknot.com searches and asked around as well. Choosing Anthony as our photgrapher, turned out to be my best decision! I knew instantly after seeing his website, that he was the one...Our first meeting with him only confirmed this. My fiance and I did our engagement shoot with him as well, and he instantly put us at ease and made us feel comfortable. Now the wedding, WOW! I cannot tell you how many people commented to us on how great our photographer was. Me and my bridesmaids all felt comfortable with him and his team, and had so much fun taking pictures. Now we have the most amazing pictures to remember our big day by and everyone I have showed them to is in awe and says they belong in a magazine! I can't say enough great things about Anthony, his skill and his amazing customer service!

Brides to be: My daughter and I planned her wedding over the internet. We lived many states apart so finding vendors online was key for us. My daughter found Anthony on the internet and it was nice to be able to view his entire wedding albums online. We were both amazed at all the "special" shots he captured. We found pricing to be very reasonable. What I found most amazing was his professionalism and his genuine kindness. On the wedding day, Anthony was prompt, engaging, and he made everyone feel at ease while taking pictures. I was really impressed by his quick turn-around. We had our entire album of pics to view in 3 weeks! He captured so many amazing, natural looking shots. It was a true pleasure working with him.

Anthony is amazing! First of all he is one of the friendliest, nicest people ever and was very prompt with correspondence. He did such an amazing job making my husband and I feel comfortable, which is a big deal for me because taking pictures is not my favorite thing. Anthony was early, very professional, and creative on the day of the wedding. He was so good about telling us where to stand and how to position ourselves to get the best lighting and angles. I was so impressed that he even made the candid shots look amazing! Also, Anthony did an amazing job of listening to what I wanted and captured each moment perfectly. Perhaps, the most impressive part of my experience was that I received my pictures 3 weeks after the wedding. In addition, the pictures are stunning. The colors are soft and perfect. I have received compliments from nearly everyone who has seen the pictures. I even had one friend say that she was jealous because she thought my pictures looked better than hers even though she spent quite a bit more. So truly everything was better than we ever thought it would be. You really can't go wrong booking Anthony!

I stumbled upon Anthony's website one day while browsing for a wedding photographer. I immediately fell in love with his visions. Anthony just seemed to capture sheer joy, love and everything we wanted our wedding photos to come out looking like. We wanted something special, and someone that was going to capture those rare moments that are treasured forever. Boy did we get that and more! We gave Anthony what I feel like were some challenges taking us on, but he delivered and gave us some truly special memories. My (now)husband (hehe, it still sounds weird saying husband) and I have been together for 9 years and we have three beautiful children together, so not only did Anthony have to photograph the two of us uniting, he had to capture our family of five toddler meltdowns and all. Yes, all three kiddos are toddlers. The kids were mesmerized by him, highly entertaining! He was even able to capture my son who is extremely shy with strangers AND capture his personality in all the pics! THANK YOU! And let me tell you this kid does not stand still for a second. Beautifully orchestrated! Anthony's idea to separate our engagement session into two so we would be able to get photos of ourselves plus ones with the kids. Brilliant! Now we have gorgeous photos of just the two of us and pics of all of us.. Anthony accommodated all our requests and is just the type of person to do whatever it takes to get the shot. I never doubted his ability once! There are so many shots from our wedding that I just love and I don't even remember him being there taking the shot. I desperately wanted a shot with sparklers since we were getting married on July 4th and I lost all hope when I found out that you cannot have fireworks in riverside county at our reception location. Well Anthony came through and worked something out and got the shot! My favorite memory! Anthony running around us with sparklers while we could hear him stumbling and falling in the process. Priceless! You will not be disappointed! He is one of a kind and no one will even come close in my mind.

Anthony is wonderful beyond words. He is literally a breath of fresh air. I was so tired of meeting photographers that had lost the spark for the art. They just didn't care and I felt like I was just another client in their work. Anthony cares and that's all I could ask for. Anthony has such a love for photography and you can feel that in his pictures. He is no nonsense, no fancy lights and backdrops, just you, your fiance and your love. I can't even begin to say how much I adore him, and his professionalism.

It rained on our wedding day, but Anthony's pictures turned up absolutely wonderful ! He is a great guy and was very amiable and professional. He got along well with our guests, wedding party, and family members which made for wonderful candids. This guy definitely knows what he's doing. Anthony is not only an amazing photographer, he is also just a great person to be around. From our engagement pictures, he was willing to travel around all day with us and take tons of pictures. He is creative and actually takes the time to scout your venue before you get there to get ideas, you don't waste any time. He was always very quick to reply and work with our budget/timeline. On the day of our wedding, Anthony made sure to capture every special moment that we specified with our loved ones. He was not obtrusive at all. Many times throughout the night I didn't even know he was there, I enjoyed every minute of our day without feeling cameras or lights in my face the whole time to take away from the moments. It wasn't until we saw our guests photos that we'd see him off to the side capturing all those moments. All of our guests LOVED Anthony! Everyone raved about how friendly, charismatic and just HAPPY he was all day. He's made us feel so comfortable from day one, he's so approachable. We were able to tell right away that he's passionate about his career and has fun doing it. But for our guests to also tell us how much they could tell he was genuinely having a good time in capturing our special day...that was just amazing. He took the time to even learn some Spanish for our loved ones. We honestly just had an amazing experience working with Anthony, we'd do it all over again. It was the BEST money spent on our wedding. We have no doubts that any photos he gives us for our wedding are just spectacular, just like our engagement photos. They capture us as we are naturally, but are just taken beautifully. I never felt like I was posing or acting in order to get a shot. I was able to be myself and he was still able to capture all of that and make it look like a beautiful photo using our surroundings. PS: We love the website he provided for us with all of our information, photos, payments, survey, etc...

We booked Anthony after seeing some of the pictures he had done for a friend's wedding. We met with him before and were Immediately impressed by his genuine love for his "job". We have only done our engagement session so far, but that experience alone was awesome. Not only did Anthony check out my Pinterest page, he actually printed it out to reference and recreate during our e-session! Our pictures turned out amazing! The funny thing with Anthony is after working with him, it doesn't feel like you've hired him; it feels like you've made a new friend.

Hello brides to be, quick note before I ramble: BOOK ANTHONY My husband and I got married on 5/4/13 and we already have our finalized photos ready today 6/11/13. Quick turnaround, instead of waiting for MONTHS on end like a lot of other photographers out there! My goal in searching for the right photographer was to find someone I trusted and who's photographs matched what I wanted. Personally, my husband and I don't look good in candid photos BUT somehow he took so many candids that I actually loved them all because we both were glowing and the photos showed that. Looking now at my photos, I realized Anthony worked really hard throughout the day because some photos were taken laying down, uphigh on "trees" it looks like, bombarded with high strung family members but kept is cool and took photos in every angle you can think off. He is very friendly, makes you feel comfortable when you become the center of attention (and TRUST ME, you want someone you mesh with during your special day or ELSE the bad vibe just ruins it), accommodating, and most importantly he takes AMAZING candid and portrait shots of your special day! I absolutely adore this man. A photographer and his camera will honestly be the ONE of the most important things you need to research. Get more info, give him a call and watch the magic happens because in the end, you want someone who captures your day from beginning to end because YOU will miss a lot of it because theres just so much going on. I got really lucky finding Anthony because everything I wanted in our photos was captured PERFECTLY. and that is precisely what YOU want. Give him a call!! Good luck on your hunt.

Anthony is the best. He's so fun to work with. I'm not too comfortable in front of a camera, but he made me forget that pictures were even being taken. He had us laughing the entire time. He's a very cool guy. And the photos...wow. So beautiful! He's so creative and came up with some really cool shots. I loved that he didn't do the "standard" wedding pictures that can sometimes look very posed and prom-like. We haven't received our wedding pictures yet (just got married 2 weeks ago) however, if they are anywhere near as beautiful as our engagement pictures, I couldn't happier. Speaking of engagement pictures...My husband and I were in the process of moving to Denver and were planning on finding someone in Denver to take our engagement pictures and then have Anthony take our wedding pictures. Anthony, being the awesome guy he is, offered to fly to Denver and take our engagement pictures...free of charge. How great is that? He chalked it up as a fun vacation visiting some people he knew in the area while getting some business done too. He's just so accommodating and easy to get along with. My husband and I were just so blow away by that. It was so very sweet of him and we couldn't be happier with the pictures he took. There is not a single picture I don't like...and he took 500! We can't wait to see the over 1,000 wedding pictures he took!

it's been almost a year since my wedding, so this review is long time coming... sorry Anthony! and just like my title, the best compliment i got was that our wedding pictures looked like clips from a blockbuster romantic movie. who would have guessed i would pass as a movie star eh? :p on a serious note, i did a very tedious and extensive research, i was looking at this long list of photographers trying to figure out who to get, until i saw Anthony's website and i knew instantly, those are the pictures that i want. full of life, full of emotion, very personal, not too over-the-top nor commercial, but highly artistic. i didn't want to get a wedding photographer that would make my pictures look like all the pictures that he/she takes. i didn't want a singular standard style, and a style that imitates all the other professional wedding photographers around. i wanted to be unique. i don't know how Anthony does it, but he just can make your pictures very personal, very according to your taste and still come out professionally and artistically taken. he was very professional but friendly, he is so easy to talk to and coordinate with. he was within my budget and i was confident he could deliver. i had confidence in his work with the way he talks and moves. i'm already thinking of future major events in my life that i could get his services for. he gave me beautiful memories, he captured feelings that i would like to relive over and over and i would definitely recommend Anthony to future brides out there. he is an investment, and one of the best decisions i had for my wedding :)

My Husband and I were so lucky to have found Anthony; he is an incredible photographer. He is extremely experience, artistic and passionate. Working with Anthony was a delight; he came in one hour before the wedding session to scope the venue for inspirations and ideas. During our session, Anthony was warm and made us feel comfortable immediately. Through his energy and passion, it was obvious that Anthony wanted only the Best for me and my husband. Although Anthony is a very down to earth and relates well to others quickly, it is apparent that he is focused and truly understands how to fully attain his visions and results. From a few seconds, he knew which angles will result in the best pictures. It was very impressive on how thorough and meticulous he was. I will recommend him to anyone; my friends and family are so impressed with the pictures from the wedding and we have Anthony to Thank!

When my guy and I looked for a photographer for our wedding, in addition to great pictures and affordable pricing, we wanted to make sure that we also felt comfortable with our vendor - and we definitely got a great vibe from Anthony when we first met him! Anthony is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. After my wedding, I went through what most brides go through and had wedding withdrawal. The big day had gone by in a blink of an eye. I couldn't wait to relive it all over again, and thanks to Anthony I got to do this a couple of weeks after my wedding - which is fast compared to other vendors. I am grateful to have found Anthony for my wedding and have recommended him to others!

There are not enough words to express how wonderful Anthony carbajal photography is. Not only are his pictures amazing, stunning and gorgeous he makes you feel so special. Anthony himself is a kind and warmhearted person and treats his brides with all the respect in the world. 3 months before my wedding I had lost my sister to cancer and he was able to make sure he still captured my special tributes to her and was so patient with us being that it was not only a happy day but an emotional day as well. His work is the best around and I cannot brag about him enough I would recommend him to every bride if I could. His pictures are amazing he is so wonderful to work with. I could not recommend a photographer more professional, fun, and hardworking than Anthony. As awkward as the concept of standing in front of a camera all day sounded, Anthony has a talent of making the atmosphere natural and seamless. I wish I could get married again for the photography aspect alone! Very accommodating and genuine.

I visited countless photographer's websites while searching for a wedding photographer, and when I came across Anthony's, I immediately noticed a difference. I loved that all of his photographs were soo creative and every single one was stunning! From the time we met him, I never had a single concern about how the photographs were going to come out. On the day of the wedding he arrived early, energetic, and ready to go! He had visited the location before our wedding day so he would know all of the best locations on the site for our pictures. I was a little nervous about getting pictures taken all day, but he made everyone feel so comfortable and much more relaxed. Everyone we talked to loved him! I really like that he posted a wedding preview on facebook about a week after- especially since I couldn't wait to see all of them! Within a few weeks we received over 1,000 photos, each of which edited and completely beautiful! We are so happy that we went with him as our photographer! My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Anthony, he is very kind, genuine, and passionate about what he does!

Anthony is an amazing photographer! You know this just from looking at his website. Not only is he a great photographer, but he's a great person as well. He was so easy to be around and be candid in front of for the entire wedding day. He's extremely professional and kind and is flexible in honoring any specific photo requests you may have. The wedding albums Anthony creates are beautiful, and his turnaround time on editing our pictures was fantastic. It is obvious that Athony has a true passion for photography, which makes him a pleasure to share your big day with. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Anthony! So do a lot of other people, so book him early!

If you are searching for a photographer, please do not miss an opportunity to have Anthony at your wedding! From the moment he arrived at the venue to the time we received our photos (which was very soon after the wedding actually!) he has been a dream come true. Before my wedding, I was a little nervous about the idea of someone taking pictures of my every move, like the paparazzi. But he is so genuine and outgoing that he makes you feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. I think that's the secret to how he gets such amazing photos! He blended right in with my family and friends, so it almost felt like he was another guest who just happened to carry an impressive amount of camera equipment. He was excited about every photo he took, and constantly said that we looked great. As a bride, it was great to hear that the whole day. =) He arrived early, was there for every special moment, and took tons of photos not only of people but of the little details you want to remember (like the bouquets or the table arrangements you spent forever deciding on). We were also pleasantly surprised by how quickly the photos got back to us. About 2 1/2 weeks after the wedding he put up "highlights" on facebook for us to see. It was fun to have some teaser photos so quickly, and it was also great to see the photos he picked out as being his favorites from the night. Then, about a week after that, we received a link to view all of our photos. There are over 1,000, and they have ALL been edited and enhanced. Every single one of them is gorgeous. In fact, the only problem is that I am now having a very difficult time trying to narrow down which photos I want to frame, because they are all so beautiful! He captured special moments, from my husband crying as I walked down the aisle, to me resting my head on my dad shoulder during our father/daughter dance, that we will now have forever to cherish. You might think about the vendors you choose as people who are simply paid for a service, but Anthony genuinely care about your wedding, about making sure you have a great time, and about delivering the best possible memories he can.

Typically a groom's last thought is how will the pictures turn out? If we even remember to think about something like that. However, I can say without a doubt Anthony Carbajal services during my wife and I's wedding was absolutely flawless. It was the happiest day of my life during that day. (Of course since then every day has been the happiest days in my life.) With only a day to work with us Mr. Carbajal was able to catch each spectacular moment with numerous shots, covering amazing angles and originality. Mr. Carbajal was very creative and tried shots he claimed he never did before but pulled it off making each creative idea a custom beauty. It was as if we were from a wedding magazine. My wife's parents purchased the wedding album for us and I honestly cannot believe the quality of the pictures. It is as if looking at a high resolution screen show...but on paper. It was, is, will always be a precious treasure to my wife and I. I am unsure what the cost was, since luckily I was/am the groom. However, what ever the cost would be I would gladly pay it again. Wether it be my wife's maternity photos or with my own children's wedding photos. Mr. Carbajal did an amazing job and I hope his services continue to make other people as happy as us and to also give others the opportunity to experience and enjoy his talented skill at taking photos. When searching for a photographer for our wedding I began to feel very overwhelmed. There were so many choices, so many esthetics, and so many directions to go. I came across Anthony’s website and was immediately taken with his work. After our first appointment with him, my husband and I knew that there wasn’t anyone else that we wanted to photograph our wedding day. He made us feel so extremely comfortable and was so easy to work with. We wanted the love and true spirit of the day to come to life in the pictures. And Anthony Carbajal delivered all of that and more. The shots Anthony captured were truly stunning. He made every one involved feel so relaxed and brought such a sense of fun to the day. He had us all laughing and smiling with his warm and upbeat personality. If there was a shot he saw and knew he wanted he would let nothing stop him from capturing that image. There were several times he was literally laying on the ground or positioned in the what appeared to be a very uncomfortable position but he did not care. All he was focused on was getting the perfect shot. During the ceremony and the reception he was so unobtrusive yet did not miss a thing. People left our wedding talking about how lovely he was and when we received our pictures friends and family could not stop talking about them. Anthony's photography reflects his ability to seamlessly intertwine his creative talents with his Bride/Groom's own style and taste. This review is more about the person and what separates Anthony from his peers within and beyond his profession. It was important to us that we find a photographer we felt comfortable with, not only share our vision but have it understood and ultimately have fun spending time with. It was our engagement session that truely shows Anthony's dedication - we knew we wanted an industrial/factory setting but didn't quite know how we'd pull it off - it's not everyday an old dilapidated factory opens its doors to the public. Being from the Murrieta area Anthony had remembered seeing a few locations that might lend themselves to our vision. He was able to work out an arrangement with a factory (that was actually over 100 years old) for us to have access to the property that same day. Anthony took an engagement setting and turned it into an adventure and our pictures reflect the excited and pure joy we shared together. We didn't have a wedding planner and our venue required each vendor to submit for approval. Anthony was our most responsive vendor to calls, texts and emails - having Anthony as our photographer was the only part of the wedding we didn't stress about or second guess. There are more expensive photographers who might bring more experience but, in the time we spent with Anthony we challenge anyone to show us a photographer who can match Anthony's exuberance, knowledge of photography and passion to grow and be challenged with each experience/wedding. If it sounds like we speak of Anthony like he's part of our network of friends, that's because we genuinely consider him a friend. He will invest twice of himself and the more you challenge him the more he will deliver. We're excited for you that you've found Anthony and even more proud that we might help you in your decision.

Anthony is an AMAZING photographer! I booked him a year and a half before our wedding, and all along the process he kept in touch and gave us tons of tips! He is truly talented and I am excited to follow him further in his career. He is super friendly, all my family thought we were long time friends becuase he is such an easy person to talk to. My husband and I contracted Anthony for our engagement session, as well as for our wedding—and we are so thankful we did! We have received numerous amounts of compliments on all of the photos. From the first time we met Anthony, we had an amazing feeling of confidence in him, which is much needed when you are spending such a large amount of money. Anthony is very professional. He was always on time and prepared, which made things run very smoothly. The one thing we appreciated most, was that when he saw a shot he liked, it didn't matter how hard the shot was to get, he would get that shot—even if it meant climbing on something to get it. We also loved the energy he had when taking our pictures. He makes you feel like you are the most beautiful person in the room. Anthony did an amazing job and we appreciated his positive attitude and dedication to his craft, at which he excels. We looked for a photographer pretty last minute (whoops...) and Anthony came highly recommended from a friend and after we saw his pictures we knew we wanted him to be our photographer, and luckily he was free. He really uses the backgrounds/settings well to create wonderfully unique pictures and he has a great eye. He meshed so well with all of our friends and family and we were blown away by how many great pictures came out from the day. He was a champ the whole way through (we had a ceremony and reception that lasted 14+ hours) and even at the end when I could tell he was exhausted, he took the requests we had to get last minute shots of all our friends with a smile. He's a great guy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for your photography needs, whatever they may be.

From the very beginning Anthony was amazing. He's very personable, friendly, artistic and extremely creative when it comes to photography. He just has an eye for his profession. When I was searching for a photographer, I was looking for someone who would give me art, not just point and shoot pictures. I am sure I put alot of pressure on Anthony telling him that I thought his photos were perfect and breathtaking, and that I wanted EXACTLY that for my wedding. I was also seeking someone who would give me more than just one or two great photos. Well, he delivered. He scouted sites before and during our photoshoot, and then took the time to drive us around to multiple sites giving us variety in the backdrop of our photos. He even got down in the dirt to capture some of our favs. He also captured the all time fav "Gone with the Wind" photo last minute driving back to the ceremony site. He never stopped pushing the envelope to create timeless magic in his photos the entire night. I still find myself looking through the photos trying to pick which one I want to post or frame next. He and his photos are worth every penny. Everything else from the wedding is either packed away or gone...but not our priceless photos. I highly recommend making Anthony apart of your wedding by allowing him to keep the memory of it alive through his artistry.

Anthony is a warm, engaging person and his passion shows in his work. We hired him for our June wedding after a long photographer search; his portfolio grabbed our attention and we were so happy we could book him for our big day. The result: wedding photos that are absolutely to die for! We've been getting nothing but compliments on our wedding pictures. His eye for capturing a scene made for AMAZING portraits and his non-intrusive style meant he could snap great candids, too. Many, many magazine-quality photos came out of our wedding day, and the dancing pics are hilarious...he caught my grandma bustin' a move and didn't miss a single moment! More than just taking gorgeous photos, Anthony is a true professional. Our guests loved him and he really felt like part of the family on our wedding day. He put us all at ease in front of the lens and he even helped my husband to get his tie on straight before the ceremony - not surprising since Anthony is a sharp-dressed guy himself! Anthony is young and talented, and certainly a rising star. I was so happy he was available on our wedding day and was easily our favorite vendor. I hope our paths cross in the future and we can use his services again. My advice to you: Book him before he becomes totally out of reach!

Anthony Carbajal was always such a pleasure to be around with his vibrant personality and ability to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. He makes a great effort to get to know you as a couple and listens to your requests. He is beyond professional and his photography is creative and absolutely beautiful. I never worried about the quality of work I would be getting with my photos and I was able to trust him from the very beginning. Every little detail and every person was photographed as asked and I never saw him do it, he was unobtrusive. The photographs that he took were stunning and Anthony captured the rustic vineyard glam and romantic, intimate mood that we wanted. I could tell that Anthony really loved what he was doing, his passion came through in every beautiful memory I have of that day in my photographs. Anthony is by far the best vendor we had at our wedding! From the very beginning we LOVED Anthony’s style and creativity, but what really makes him stand out is his fantastic personality. He operates with a level of professionalism that is unmatched, but still manages to make you feel comfortable enough to take natural looking pictures. This was a destination wedding, so we'd only "met" Anthony via phone and email. We were pleasantly surprised by Anthony's outgoing demeanor and enthusiasm. From the minute he showed up (early!) he became a member of the family (a very talented member of the family). Our daughter had several specific poses in mind, and as Anthony worked, he made sure to listen to her requests and make those poses a reality. We were running a bit late getting to the bridesmaid pictures but nothing rattled him. When we unfolded from the limo, he was already scouring the landscape for the best background. When he couldn't get the perfect angle for a shot, he climbed up a tree and hung there until he got the picture. During the ceremony and the reception Anthony was everywhere. He easily wove himself into our wedding party so that he got the most important shots. We made numerous requests and he answered every one with a smile. We definitely give Anthony our highest recommendation!

Anthony is the BEST photographer. We booked from Arizona & he was nothing but helpful the whole time. The day of he was early, ready to work & excited. He was ready to take everything my wild group through at him, he even climbed in a tree to get the best shot. For my husband and I, finding a wedding photographer was our top priority. We envisioned having beautiful and unique photos that would remain a part of our family for generations to come. With Anthony, our expectations were far exceeded. Early on in the planning process I was concerned about being able to find someone who could help bring my vision to life. Our wedding was very small and intimate with only 5 family members present. When I spoke to other local photographers, I felt that they had a difficult time grasping the types of photos I was hoping to capture considering the wedding wasn't a huge production. I explained to Anthony that I wanted to incorporate the scenery of the downtown harbor, including the ships from the maritime museum. Anthony displayed genuine interest and excitement in my vision, and even took the time to scout the location. During the shoot, Anthony gave very clear instructions and made sure every detail (dress, hair, flowers, etc.,) were perfect. He is a fun and easy to get along with type of person, which made the experience that much more amazing. It's clear that Anthony goes above and beyond for his clients, taking the time to edit each individual photo and provide proofs in less than two weeks. I couldn't have had a better experience. Anthony is a phenomenal person and a true artist.

Anthony is incredibly easy to work with and his dedication simply blew me away. He is SO creative and full of great ideas. My favorite shots from the day are ones he came up with on the spot. He was enthusiastic and present through the whole day, and his energy was important and kept me fresh during all those post-ceremony staged shots when my focus started to wane. At the reception he got all these incredible photos without getting in anyone's way or asking us to pose; I barely noticed he was there! The only times he approached me and my husband during the evening to stage a photo was to sneak us off to special places he'd found to take unexpected, gorgeous photos. It was clear he'd kept his eye out the whole time for unique moments and shots, and as a result my photos are fresh, interesting, exciting...and, honestly, magazine-worthy. As an editor of a popular wedding-oriented website, I see thousands of wedding photos each week; the quality of photos Anthony and his associates take are the kind publishers want to feature. There are many SoCal photographers in his price-range, but none nicer, smarter, or more talented.

You know when you're going through all those eye candy wedding blogs and magazines and get all depressed that you can't have a $50,000 wedding with ahhh-mazing pics? Snap out of it! Hire Anthony and he'll make you look like a million bucks! Seriously. I found Anthony after he shot High School Reunion pics for one of my fave bloggers. This was even prior tomy engagement and I remember thinking that he caught the spirit of the event and the personalities of the people so well. The pictures had soul, while looking fantastic at the same time! Fast forward to me planning a wedding. We were on a budget and debated hiring a photographer versus asking friends who had fancy cameras. Looking at Anthony's updated portfolio at the time clinched the deal and I contacted him. He is so genuine and personable, and really eager to make you happy. I sent him a bunch of pics I liked and explained why I liked them - e.g. the lighting, the poses, etc. He actually scouted out the location the day prior to the wedding and had some fabulous locations picked out. We had a limited amount of time before the ceremony and he maximized it all! I made sure to get him a shot list of all the shots I really wanted (e.g. pic of cake, pic of all guests at the table, family pics, etc). He got all the shots I wanted and MORE. alll while charming my friends and relatives, I think they all wanted to adopt him! Ladies, he know how to make you look good. I am SOOO not photogenic (seriously - even hubby agrees) and I loved MOST of the pics of me. We look like we're in one of those fancy pants weddings on Style Me Pretty. My pics make my married friends and coworkers (incl. guys!) wanna redo their wedding and hire Anthony! Seriously, he's that good. They always say that you should hire a good photographer because the pictures are the only thing that you have left after the day is over. Until I experienced it, I didn't 100% believe it - but now do. I smile when I see our pictures. Especially now since loved ones he took pictures of have passed on, and we have a forever keepsake of that happy time. Your vendors should add to the joy of your wedding day and not stress you out. All of mine did - with Anthony standing out the most. He took a special day and made it FUN! Do yourself a favor and email him now! Seriously, now. Right now.

Anthony was our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos & he will continue to be our photographer for any upcoming events! Anthony is incredibly talented. Not only are the pictures beautiful but Anthony is so much fun to work with. It felt as if we had known Anthony for years. My family loved him and even though we had close to 400 guest he was able to capture so many amazing pictures. I didn't think one photographer would be enough due to the size of our wedding, but Anthony was more than enough! The pictures were delivered before we even returned from our honeymoon! Anthony Carbajal was absolutely amazing,talented, & professional. I have been in a ton of weddings but this time I was the bride. Anthony was very calming and he didn't miss one shot! The ceremony was outdoors in Malibu, CA. The temperature was pushing 100 degrees. Most of us had less to do and were wiped out by the heat alone, but Anthony's energy and enthusiasm never dipped below 100 percent. Having been in many wedding parties where the photographer was bossy, unenthused and amateuristic, Anthony was a most refreshing change. More than that, the finished product was breathtaking. Anthony is a gifted young man, not only is he incredibly creative and has a passion for what he does, but he is also very professional, kind, warm, accommodating, and over all a pleasure to have around. We met with so many photographers and none could have felt as close to our hearts as Anthony. I remember saying a prayer right before finding his website. It was like he was one of our friends and family. We plan on using him as our family photographer for as long as we can, that is until he blows up and becomes totally unreachable in time and price. Anthony was absolutelly wonderful! Although I've never met him in person while shopping around my wedding photographer, but I felt very comfortable with several email and phone exchange that I felt he would be the perfect photographer for me. He was really professional at asking me what i wanted and going over the detail of the ceremony and group photos before the wedding so he can help coordinate everything. Your wedding photographs are probably the most cherishable items you will have for the rest of your life, and we truly wanted something amazing to fulfill our desire. Anthony is truly that - amazing. From the first day we met him, we quickly learned that he was extremely dedicated and passionate about his work. He surprised me early on by conducting his own additional research of our venues prior to meeting us, and he was always MORE than prepared for both our engagement and wedding pictures. He is truly an amazing person to work with, and a great and passionate professional. He has great ideas and will do whatever it takes to obtain the results he aims for, which means you will be much more than happy with his results. He is flexible and will adapt to whatever you ask as well as provide you with his own creative and thoughtful ideas.
