We did our engagement photos and wedding photos in 2019 with Anthony and had such a great experience with him. He was professional and timely throughout the whole process and with getting the photos back to us. He did a great job and many of his photos are still hanging in our home.

Anthony is a wizard with the camera. His work is exceptional. We hired him for our wedding and stayed from 1:30 to 11. I almost never saw him take a break, he just kept getting in the action taking photographs that we didn't even expect. As my wife and I went through the pictures we got emotional as we wondered how and when he got the shots that he did. Not only did he take the absolute best quality photos, he adds an artistic touch that gives them vibrancy. He uses all of his surroundings: windows, mirrors, light, shade and more technical terms that I know nothing about. His true trade is photojournalism, so if you want a wedding photographer who not only takes great pictures where everyone smiles and says "Cheese!," but also chronicles the story of your wedding day, then Anthony is your man. He will capture emotion, intrigue, tears, joy, expressions, movement and sincerity that can only be found when nobody knows their picture is being taken. Additionally, he finished and sent us hundreds of photographs very shortly after our wedding! Though he finished the job quickly, it was anything but rushed. Finally, for all the exceptional work in the time that he accomplished it, he was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Anthony Lanzilote. You will not regret hiring him.

We hired Anthony to photograph our wedding at the DIA and he was fantastic. I would highly recommend him to other couples looking for a photographer who is professional, authentically captures your day, and who is very easy to work with. Anthony is a photo journalist by trade, and it comes through in his work - he truly tells the story of your wedding without all the cliche, standard photos from every wedding (you know the ones). Other bonuses to working with Anthony include: 1) full ownership of the digital images (huge!), 2) flexibility to do what you want with portraits and must capture moments, but can also be creative and capture unexpected moments with you, your family and guests, 3) quick editing - I received my photos on my honeymoon, 4) ability to bring in a second photographer with a similar style who will also be amazing. Your photos from your big day will be unique, beautiful and timeless I promise. Can't recommend him enough.

Anthony did an excellent job capturing the heart and soul of our wedding. His team caught moments that we would have otherwise missed and approach the day like a photojournalist, rather than a fashion photographer. And somehow, he did it in an unobtrusive way, so we barely noticed that we were constantly being followed by cameras. Well worth the investment. And, as a bonus, Anthony is also a really nice guy -- and good presence before the wedding when everyone was a little jittery.

In short, Anthony was everything my husband and I were looking for in a wedding photographer. We worked with him for both engagement and wedding photos. For me, one of the most important parts of his work with us was how at ease he made us feel while he was shooting. His emphasis on candid shots and being 'invisible' as we went about our day made us feel comfortable while he was shooting, even during portrait shots (hey, every wedding has to have them!). This comfortable feeling was further reinforced by the fact that he got along well with both our family and friends, bringing out the best in them as well. The proof is in the pudding as they say - aesthetically gorgeous shots that go beyond looking great, they perfectly capture the genuine emotion of the happiest day of our lives. Looking at Anthony's photos evoke great memories for me and my husband, and we look back fondly on working with Anthony as well. In short, he was one of our best choices for a wedding vendor and I couldn't recommend him enough!

We booked Anthony because we didn't want one of those run-of-the-mill, pose-y, frankly boring wedding photographers. We wanted to be able to show our children the pictures that encapsulated what mom and dad were really like on their wedding day (slightly refined party animals) and every little detail in between. Anthony -- a true photojournalist with a sharp eye for the fleeting moment -- captured that and more. He and his second shooter arrived early to the venue, were in constant communication with myself and my husband about what we needed and wanted and and even lent a helping hand as I was nervously freaking out 20 minutes before the ceremony. If you're looking for a stiff, conventional wedding shooter who will give you the standard posed-up pics with 150 of your family members using a drone and 18-foot ladder, and if you also have soft purple lighting and smoke machines at your wedding, fine, but Anthony is not the photographer you're looking for -- and he doesn't pretend to be! He IS exactly what you want if you appreciate the art of storytelling through artfully framed photos, which is exactly what we got. (Anthony and his second photographer caught my mother's boyfriend snoozing in the middle of reception, the priceless faces we pulled during the best man's speech and even my sparkly dancing shoes I changed into halfway through -- these are the photos that are priceless to us.) I wholeheartedly recommend Anthony as a wedding photographer. Thank you for sharing our day with us!

Anthony Lanzilote not only took breathtaking photos that transport me back to the best day of my life every time I look at them (they are really truly magnificent), he also was an integral part of the day that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. He kept me grounded and focused pre-wedding and was supportive throughout the events. Having Anthony as our photographer made us feel 100% confident and transformed what could have been an overwhelming time into a wild, fun ride. Anthony did my wedding and engagement pics, and he is great. He has a great eye for capturing the things that matter, and all of the little details that as a bride, you don't have time to notice in the moment. I highly recommend working w/ Anthony.
