Anthony's House of Formals

When we initial shopped for Tux's we were extremely happy with the service and selection. We rented 9 tuxes. However, when the wedding party picked up their tuxes, there was an issue with 7 out of the 9 Tuxes. They were either too large or too small. The tuxedo material appeared to be worn (pills on the sleeves) and not appropriately pressed. The groom took his tux to the Dry Cleaners to be cleaned and professionally pressed. The shoes were worn with nails coming through the soles. As professional as this store portrays themselves to be, I was very disappointed. Even when adjustments were made to the Tuxes they still did not fit correctly. I would definitely not recommend this store. When we brought the issues to the owners attention he did apologize. Good try but with only two days before our wedding what else could we do!!!

My husband (!) had a really specific idea of what he wanted his tuxedo to look like, and Anthony's worked with him to really nail it. Alterations were done right on site, and everyone looked amazing. They were less expensive than Men's Warehouse, and so easygoing and professional.

We stumbled upon Anthony's House of Formals after receiving tickets for a trunk show from the knot.com. We showed up with the intention of simply viewing their offerings, but ended up leaving with all of our suits ordered! Aldo and staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We were very picky with our tie color choices and the team worked with us until the perfect colors were found. We were worried that we would have trouble having our wedding party fitted because they are from across the country, but AHOF is part an independent group, allowing wedding party members to be fitted at numerous businesses across the country. Suit pick up with super easy and everything was accurate. Any alterations were made immediately by Aldo. Extra shirts were provided for members of our party that were afraid of spoiling their white shirts. Overall, we were EXTREMELY satisfied with our experience at Anthony's House of Formals and would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding!

The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when helping us decide which tuxedos to get. They also helped remind all the groomsmen to pickup their tuxedos. Each tuxedo was in great shape and they made sure the whole look was on point! Would definitely go back for their selection and friendliness if my husband needs another tux.

We met Anthony's House of Formals at a Bridal Show. Right from the first interaction to the last was such an amazing experience. They know their product and they stand by it. We never felt rushed or persuaded to choose something different, they gave recommendations but never pushed us into something we didn't want. We had a large wedding party (18groomsman)including fathers and junior groomsmen. Their hours are very convenient, and we had one groomsmen on the west coast, which they made it easy for him to get fitted out there and send the measurements back to Rhode Island. We set up two fittings due to the amount of groomsmen we had and it didn't take no more than 15 minutes. They are a small business with a HUGE compassion about their job and product. I would recommend them 10 times over. YOU WILL BE SATIFIED!!!! A+++++++ Vendor!!!!

The owner, Aldo and his girlfriend Ashley were both so friendly and helpful with the whole process we do not know what we would have done without them! Aldo was very knowledgeable about designs and color choices. Our tuxes looked wonderful and everyone loved them. The staff were so helpful and friendly when it came to fittings and helping us get the tuxes on (a lot of first time formal wear people in our group). Everything looked and felt great, we could not be happier! Aldo and Ash were both so supportive, always asking not only about our tuxes but every aspect of the wedding, such wonderful people.

We went at Anthony's House of Formals for the tuxes for our wedding. The first time we went there we had no idea what to expect. Aldo and his employees helped find the perfect match to what we were looking for. Everyone was friendly, professional and a blast to work with. A few weeks before the wedding we had to make some big changes to the tuxes, Aldo made great suggestions and our tuxes ended up looking even better then our original choices.

A very important element to the look of our black tie wedding was the men’s formal wear. We used Anthony’s House of Formals for not only our wedding party, but we also recommended our guests rent from Anthony’s too. Many guests that night commented on how great everyone looked and how seamless their experience renting from Anthony’s was. Aldo and his knowledgeable staff were great with helping me choose and size me for my tux and everyone I spoke with also had a positive experience renting from them. My daughter and my son in law went into the Cranston location of Anthony's House of Formals and met with Aldo. They picked out a classic black tuxedo with ties to match the bridesmaid's gowns. The staff at Anthony's was easy to work with and well prepared since the father and brother of groom were from out of town. The tuxedos were ready for pick up on Thursday and we returned them on Monday. Everything was perfect and the tuxedos looked sharp!

We went through Anthony's House of Formals for my tuxedos for my wedding. Myself and my fiance went into their Cranston location without knowing what we wanted, since my bridesmaids were in black with fuchsia shoes, I wanted a pop of color with out it being too pinky. We were able to find the perfect tie that fused black and fuchsia and added a fuchsia pocket square for an added pop. We had out of town groomsmen and it was easy for them to get their measurements and send them directly to Anthony's. Pick ups were done the day before my wedding for most since they were out of towners and everything was perfect and they even had back ups just in case and they made me feel so at ease with the whole process.

We met Aldo and Ashle at a bridal show and immediately liked a Calvin Klein brown tuxedo. About a month later we made an appointment at the Cranston location, we thought we were late as it was February and our wedding was in April but they assured us that it was fine. We picked out everything from my tuxedo, the groomsmen and fathers. They even helped with finding a coordinating outfit for my son who was less than 1 year old. From measuring to pick up, everything went fantastic. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone looking for well fitting tuxedos and great service.

Hands down this place rocks! My husband and I reserved a “tux block” for our wedding last summer because we wanted a “Black Tie preferred” wedding. We knew the first thing guests would mention is, “But I don’t have a tux!” So we set up a tux block where with the help of Aldo {the owner of AHOF}. We selected 3 tux's that would be part of this block and were a special price - most of the guests took advantage of it. Everyone looked sharp because their attire was measured correctly and the best part was how easy it was to work with Anthony’s House of Formals and their staff! My Husband also wanted a particular white jacket for his tux that Aldo did not have at the time so he ordered it for us which was awesome and totally not expected! We used to their Cranston location because it was more convenient for us but they also have an East Providence location as well. Since our wedding, my husband has rented through Anthony’s House of Formals for attire for my cousins wedding as well as our Trash the Dress session {don’t worry, we didn’t trash the tux}! If you are looking to work with a local business who takes pride in providing their clients excellent customer service, a great experience and has an eye for men's fashion - look no further! We had such a great experience at Anthony's House of Formals in Cranston, RI. They were so accommodating and helpful to my husband and I throughout the whole process. They even threw in an extra vest and shirt because it was going to be a hot day! Highly recommend to other couples!

I had my wedding on 6/14 and got my grooms party tuxes from Aldo at Anthony's house of formals. When we talk about a true customer oriented small business, Aldo exemplifies that. I had the most amazing experience with Anthony's House of formals! They made all the guys in my party look awesome (normally they are all goofy... lol kidding!). Aldo and Ashley were so easy to deal with. They made us feel comfortable right away and had us laughing the whole time. My now husband and I are very indecisive people and they guided us in the right direction! I appreciate them working with us and especially helping with the out of town guys who needed tuxes. Everything fit perfectly! I could not be more pleased with their service! I highly recommend them for getting your guys to look good!

Aldo and Ashley at Anthony's House of Formals in Cranston were great to work with in deciding the groom's tuxedo for our wedding. They were very helpful and easy to reach if we had any questions. The tux looked great and the pick-up/drop-off was easy.

We went with Anthony's House of Formals for the tuxedos! We went to a Michael Kors trunk show and Ashlee walked the groom through every tuxedo and really listened to what he was looking for. Aldo did an amazing job of measuring everyone and making sure everyone looked their best! We even changed the colors for the dads and he was right on top of that with changing the order and even giving his professional opinion when needed. He is just so great to work with and really made everything so enjoyable! He always greets you with a smile and Anthony's is just a great place. I would definitely recommend them!

Anthony's House of Formals was wonderful. They have such a selection of men's attire to choose from. We worked with Aldo and he was fantastic. He is very knowable in his field. He was professional, kind and always smiling. My groom and our groomsman looked very handsome and fashionable. Thank you Aldo for all of your hard work and understanding.

I can't reccomend Anthony's House of Formals enough. My husband is a very tall, so we were nervous about finding the right tux for our wedding. Men's Warehouse laughed at us when we asked about trying on tuxes. Aldo, who owns Anthony's, was great to work with. He had a variety of styles available to try on, so we were able to find what worked best. We had men coming from all over (even internationally) and every tux fit beautifully. Aldo even kept the store open late for us the night we needed to pick up to accomodate a couple men on a late afternoon flight. On top of everything else, the pricing was better than the national chain mensware stores.

Aldo was able to help my Husband and I come to a compromise that we both ended up loving! He was very knowledgeable and accommodating! Everything looked great day-of!

I purchased my wedding gown at Helene's Bridal (see review) located upstairs from Anthony's House of Formals (East Providence location). I was contacted by the store because they were having a promotion for any brides who purchased their dresses from Helene's that same year. The price was wonderful, and the service was even better. We worked with Mike, and he patiently took the time to help us choose the right tuxes, shirts, and shoes. As the time came closer, we were contacted, and the men went to be measured and tried on the tuxes. Mike and staff diligently checked to be sure the tuxes had the best possible fit. Everyone at Anthony's was great at communicating and even made separate phone calls to all the men for the final pick-up day. Again, Mike and staff double-checked everything and made some last-minute adjustments to ensure the finest look. It truly was a pleasure working with Anthony's and Helene's!

We used Anthony's House of Formals for the tuxes worn by my husband, son, and brother at my daughter's wedding in July. Let me begin by saying that the owner, Aldo is amazing to work with. He is charming and very knowledgeable about what to wear. If you are at all unsure about what looks good and is appropriate, Aldo is your man! My guys were so gorgeous!! Aldo was really so accommodating to work with. With my son living out of state and my brother unavailable to come into the shop for measurements, Aldo made it work. He provided us with extra jackets and shirts to be sure everybody looked great. He even picked the suits up for us from the hotel the next day! Also really goes way above and beyond! Everything was of the highest quality I would highly recommend using Anthony's House of Formals to anybody. You will not be sorry!

I could not have been happier with Anthony's House of Formals. They offer great quality tuxedos at reasonable prices, as well as outstanding customer service. We primarily worked with Aldo, who had very good knowledge of his products and was a pleasure to work with. In my opinion, the national chains simply cannot compete with Anthony's (which we tried out before coming here). No complaints, job well done!

The staff at Anthony's was amazing. Spent over an hour helping my husband choose his tux and he looked great. All our groomsmen (all 9 of them!) looked dashing and the quality and fit were perfect. Good value as well.
