I wish we could give 6 stars. My now-husband and I were easy-going about almost all of our wedding decisions, but our number 1 priorities were our venue and food. We did not want the standard dishes offered at most weddings, we wanted something that stood out and represented our love for delicious food. We saw the many awards Antigua has earned when we went for our initial tasting and, after having tried their food and hired them for our wedding, we're baffled as to how they don't have many, many more. Citlali, the owner, has won our hearts and anyone thinking about getting married in the Milwaukee area MUST check Antigua out. She made everything so simple for us, and was present on our wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly. The staff running food and clearing plates were superb for everything from appetizers to helping to set up the dessert station. Every single person at my wedding that I spoke to after dinner raved about the food. Run, don't walk, to Antigua and hope that they aren't already booked for your wedding day.

Antigua was amazing. They clearly are a very busy business but Lali and the staff did an excellent job during the planning process and on the day of. We had a sit down dinner and we had multiple people of all ages and backgrounds that attended many weddings tell us our food was the best food they ever had a wedding. Thank you again Lali and your team!

We had an amazing experience with Antigua! Our guests raved about the food all night, and I'm still getting comments about it. It is not your typical and boring wedding food. It was just what we wanted, fun, and delicious, and the staff went above and beyond since day one. I highly recommend the Paella - it was DELICIOUS!

Lali and her staff were amazing, very clean and professional and the food was just as spectacular on my wedding day as it is every time my wife and I go to the resturant. 10/10

We didn’t want boring wedding food so we found Antigua and we are beyond glad we went with them. Their food options are unique and flavorful and will leave your guests talking about them after. Citali was so professional to work with and always available to answer questions. They were so easy to work with and the wait staff was great as well. Definitely recommend it if you want something different and delicious!

I was helping with wedding planning from 800 miles away and was booking a caterer for a backyard wedding in September. I was very nervous to book a caterer I did not know but, based on ratings I saw, I booked Antigua for the wedding dinner. Lali was very easy to work with and my questions and concerns were answered promptly, patiently and completely. They arrived even earlier than the time they said they would. The food was delicious and the servers were professional and attentive. I would highly recommend Antigua for your next catered event!

Choosing Antigua to cater our wedding was a decision we are so grateful we made. Not only is their food OUTSTANDING, but Lali and her staff were beyond professional, helpful, and overall an amazing team and addition to our wedding day. I stayed connected with Lali for the 9+ months leading up to our big day and she was always so willing to answer questions and work to meet all of our requests. Lali and her team arrived just as planned on our wedding day and were so friendly, hardworking, and all-around polished and professional. Our guests RAVED about the food. We chose their short rib & chimichurri chicken and even though my husband and I didn't eat much during our dinner, Lali and her team made sure food was set aside and packed up for us -- it was just as good the next day! We got so many compliments from everyone that was a part of our wedding day on how wonderful our caterer's were, and how delicious the food was. We even received a thoughtful gift from them that truly meant so much. Thank you so much Lali & Antigua team, you truly made our day everything we hoped for!

Excellent catering. Food was great. Service was excellent. Communication was very good. Super professional from the first phone call till the end. They went above and beyond promised to make my daughter's wedding day perfect. We didn't have to worry about any logistics and all the guests were extremely impressed with service and food. Lali took a lot of pressure off of our shoulders and did an excellent job responding and handling all of our requests. All the food combinations were creative, new, interesting to look at and, above all, very tasty.

We were so pleased with our entire experience with Lali and the catering staff at Antigua from beginning to end. Lali was super responsive to all of our calls and emails and the tastings beforehand were excellent! Loved their flexibility and service throughout Covid times and so grateful to hear all our guests rave about the food at our family-style reception dinner at Filament in Milwaukee, May 2021. Work with them and you won't regret it!

I am SO happy that my husband and I went with LaAntigua for our wedding caterer. Lali was BEYOND amazing throughout the entire process. She allowed me to make payments over the course of months, she was VERY responsive to my emails, and really went above and beyond to ensure my wants were met with everything. Needless to say, the food was amazing. Our appetizers were THE BEST. Salad and main course was great. We had a late night snack (empanadas), 10/10 recommend doing that! Staff was amazing and very kind/courteous the night of the wedding. Catering staff assisted with serving our dessert. Really I have nothing but great things to say, book LaAntigua for your caterer, you will have ZERO regrets!

We will be forever be grateful to Lali and the entire Antigua staff! Our wedding reception was everything we had dreamed! Lali was fantastic to work with - especially considering we had to postpone our reception nearly 10 months due to covid. She was incredibly responsive, flexible, and supportive throughout the entire process. And the food! So good! We received so many compliments and so many of our guests were asking who our caterer was. We could not have been happier. Thank you Lali and Antigua from the bottom of our hearts!

Let me first start by saying how AMAZING Lali, Nico, and the entire Antigua Family and Staff had been during our wedding to make our day the most special day of our lives. The Wedding Day was the best that we could have ever hoped for and we did not have to worry about the catering or bar service at all. We made the best choice by going with Antigua for both Food and Beverage vs hiring out another Vendor for bar and they did a great job. The kitchen was quick to get the food out and our guests had nothing but positive things to say, from the first guests to the lasts all the food was cooked to perfection. The open bar service was stupendous as well, we had around 200 guests who always had a drink in hand when they needed one. Overall, GREAT job by the catering service. Now let’s talk about Lali because the important part of finding the right caterer is making sure you get along with that person that coordinates. I highly suggest you stop by Antigua’s Restaurant and try out their delicious menu and flavorful drinks first hand. I’m sure provided she’s there and not too busy she’ll pop out and say hello! Lali was always available to us and made us feel like our wedding was hers as well. The tasting was so simple and easy for us to be able to pick out the food we wanted and additionally they allowed us to make modifications as well! From the point we picked out food out to Lali attending all of our meetings and being EXTREMLY punctual it was a breeze for our minds. Never were we anxious about the catering because we felt so at ease. Overall, I would say the personal touch and the local business is the best part about it. The staff cares for your wedding like it is their own and they will continue to get better and better. We hope this helps in making your decision!

Amazing! Antigua served us great food for our wedding. They helped us every step of the way with planning our perfect wedding menu. On the day of their staff was so attentive and made sure us and our guests were taken care of the whole night. I would highly recommend Antigua to any couple looking for a non-traditional wedding menu!

Working with Citlali and Antigua Catering was one of the best choices we made to have them as a key part of our event. Her attention to detail and professionalism stood out but at the same time she approachable and sincere. Amazing food, great staff, perfect presentation. Working with Antigua Catering and Events was a delight. The minute my husband and I tried the food, we knew we had made the right decision. It was delicious. Working with Lali was also a delight. She made the process extremely easy. She was professional and genuinely excited to be a part of our day, and it showed. As the bride this meant a lot to me. I trusted that everything would run smoothly on our wedding day, and it did. I never worried that our needs wouldn’t be met or our special requests honored. The food was delicious, and we’ve had many of our guests tell us that they went back for seconds because it was so good! I woud recommend Antigua Catering and Events to anyone looking for a catering service that provides delicious food and exceptional customer service with a personal touch. We will definitely utilize Antigua for any catering needs we have in the future, and their restaurant is always a great choice for a date night!

I love Lali and Antigua so much!!!!!!!! Lali is a goddess: efficient, knowledgeable, compassionate, and an all-around beautiful person. Her passion for Antigua is infectious. My "new" husband and I went for a tasting prior to deciding what to order for my wedding. . I knew all along that I wanted Antigua to cater my wedding due to my deep love of Latin food. There was no other choice, the reviews I had read were fabulous. Our tasting experience was amazing. World class! We were treated like royalty and Lali talked through everything, there were no surprises and no hesitations. Everything we tried was amazing and it was very difficult to decide what to choose for our buffet. After deliberation, the main entrees we chose were "encocao de camaron" and "ropa vieja." We decided upon the "Antigua salad," as well as plantains, yuca fries, tostones, bread/rolls, cilantro rice, white rice, black beans, pinto beans, flan, and guava tartes. Day of the wedding: words cannot express the magical and stress free experience we had with Antiqua Catering. The Staff set up the buffet in so little time, it was even ready before we were ready to eat! Lali was present and oversaw the entire operation. When I went to get food, I was super surprised to see her! She cares so much!!! What really stood out to me and to our guest was: 1. The professionalism of the team The attire was more than appropriate for our wedding event, we are casual people and the staff looked 5+ star!!!! 2. FOOD Everyone at the wedding commented about the food. 99% of attendees that responded said it was "the best wedding food ever." I have no shame, I went up for seconds as well as half of the guests. Go big or go home! 3. The desserts The Flan. Oooooh the flan. I wish I could eat it everyday. It was a HIT! I highly recommend!!!!! The guava tartes were equally as impressive and delicious! In addition, there was no cake cutting fee. Little to my knowledge, the staff cut up multiple cakes (we had a dessert table) and it was so amazing because it reduced my stress to 0%. Overall, I cannot recommend Lali and her team at Antigua enough. She created an amazing, memorable experience for myself, my husband, and all of our wedding guests. It has been over a month and my friends/family are still inquiring about the food. Lali truly added a special touch to our best day ever. I can never thank her and her team enough! I look forward to visiting the new restaurant location!!

We had Antigua cater our wedding and WOW is all I can say. First, the staff: absolutely amazing. They are kind, gracious, polite, and beyond professional. During the appetizer/ cocktail hour, the staff remembered what guest were vegetarians, and came to them with the veggie options first. Citlali’s bartenders are amazing- friendly, great drink makers, and keep the party going. Second, the food. I have been told by so many guest- that hands down, this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. When we started planning our wedding, one thing that was very important was that the dinning atmosphere resembled hanging with friends at your most favorite restaurant. And that is exactly what we got. We had family style dinning, starting with guac and chips and the delicious cilantro aioli and bread, and then 3 meat options to make tacos. We had the Cilantro Shrimp (hands down one of the best dishes I have ever tasted), Cochinita Pibil, and the Steak Ranchero. And lastly, the experience. Citlali is an amazing woman who has created a business that 100% reflects every aspect of her. She is very attentive to details during the planning phase. She has a staff that reflects respect and pride in everything they do. She delivers above and beyond on quality and experience. We wanted an unforgettable evening where great food brought everyone together- and with Antigua catering, that is exactly what we got.

The food was so great! Lali kept in communication with me and the staff was very helpful in the set up and take down of items with the venue. The food was amazing!!

Absolutely amazing!!! Not only did we receive delicious food, but Citlali and the whole group went above and beyond to make sure our whole day (not just the food) went perfectly!!! She put in so much extra time before and during the wedding. I highly recommend using Antigua to cater any event and I will continue to go there as a regular customer!!

AMAZING! Seriously, delicious food! If you are looking for Mexican food, this is a great choice, BUT it's not just Mexican. Antigua has a great variety of wonderful appetizers that my husband and I ordered for the "main meal." More than that, they worked hard to get everything set up and looking great with time to spare. There were not a single complaint. Everything worked out perfectly.

We absolutely LOVED working with Antigua! We appreciated their patience as we tried to figure out a passed hors d'oeuvres menu that would be unique to us, complete with a signature drink and the best ice cream ever (made from scratch)! The food is outstanding and we were so pleased with the quality of service! Several of our guests even left with their catering/business card in hand!

I could not have had a better experience. There were minor hiccups that were not made aware to me because Citali (owner/caterer/go to gal) took care of them all. I've gotten nothing but compliments on the food! She has a great variety of Latin American gourmet dishes that was able to please a very diverse crowd. Not only did Antigua provide the food, she took care of the reception flowers, chair covers, linens, and drinks. Planning a wedding can be stressful and more so for us because we were planning it from Nashville. They are very organized, detail-oriented, and patient. I highly recommend Antigua Mexican and Latin Restaurant.

Everyone loved the food and there were actually NO complaints.

The food was so amazing. It was even better at the wedding than at the taste test. We had so many people go back for seconds the cater didn't have any left overs. Many people complimented me on the fact that the food was unique and not the same boring wedding food. The caterer was fairly flexible and their prices were very decent. I would give the communication and organization a B-. Dispite the average to sub-par communication I wouldn't have picked anyone else! Soooo good!
