Michelle shot our elopement in the city (travel was included in the cost and compared to the rates of photographers in Boston, it was 1000% worth the price) as well as our Maine wedding celebration (on our anniversary) one year later. Michelle was professional, patient, and supportive in moments of uncertainty and stress in the way only those with years of experience can provide. She offered insight and recommendations based on our requests without judgement and best of all, was incredibly flexible and imaginative with finding the best spots, poses, and beautiful moments to capture. She made it so easy to do things I never even thought of: photos in the train station and on the T in Boston for some candids after tying the knot at city hall; photos with movement crossing the busy city streets of me and my husband hand-in-hand; editorial-style photos in our honeymoon suite in a historical inn with stained glass windows and a canopy bed; moments of bliss and happiness of our family, friends, and loved ones at our wedding that feel completely organic like a moment captured in time. Michelle literally did anything she had to do to get the perfect shots for us. During our elopement in Boston City Hall, she was not shy about walking and standing all over the tiny office we were in to capture the moment we exchanged rings and kissed. That same day, when we were hassled by someone to leave a public area that we were taking a few photos in, she professionally yet firmly spoke up on behalf of us before we excused ourselves. Most notably, during our wedding celebration in Maine, Michelle not only confidently captured our processional and ceremony, but she also provided one of the best moments of the wedding when, after we realized we didn’t have the rings, she produced them from her pocket—since in the chaos no one remembered to grab them—but she did! When we first got our gallery, we were in absolute awe. I had high expectations based on her work and our “sneak peek” photos, but what we were given was beyond anything we could imagine. It truly felt like reliving our special day all over again—except this time, we could see all the precious moments we didn’t even notice her capturing and the things we were too busy to appreciate at the time. I admittedly have shown off our galleries to colleagues, friends, and family as though they are slideshow presentations—giving commentary on the day to those who couldn’t join and smiling with pride at compliments about just how PERFECT every shot is. When they ask who my photographer was, I nearly trip over myself gushing about Antoinette Photography and the magic they are able to create.

additional engagement photo session about 6 months earlier. Throughout the entire process they were super responsive and great to communicate with. During the engagement shoot and the wedding they did an amazing job of capturing all the important moments, all the important people, and all the amazing different backgrounds! They took a nice blend of posed and candid photos and were very helpful telling us how to pose for the best-looking pictures. They also sent us our photos super quickly, sending the sneak peeks within 24 hours of the wedding, and the rest of the photos 3 weeks later! The program they use (before your photos are taken) allows you to upload pictures you saved (from Pinterest and so on) so they can see your inspirations ahead of time. They will also request a list of photos you want (such as with what family members, bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc..) but capture SO many more that you will not think of! They are so accommodating: in fact, there was some weather concerns on our wedding day so they contacted us ahead of time to set up a shoot before-hand so we could get the exact photos we wanted. They will send you sneak peaks shortly after your photos are taken which is such a tease because they’re so good that it’s hard to wait for the rest of them, but trust me the wait will be worth it! There is a reason why they’re booked far in advance- you will not find anyone who does it all like they do. Not only are Michelle & Chelsea talented, professional, and dedicated photographers, but they are also extremely caring, understanding, and patient. I feel like we won the “photography lottery,” and couldn’t be happier with our experience!
