husband and I's wedding day!! It was important for me to hire a photographer with an understanding of the Catholic Mass since that is our faith tradition we were married in, and they truly delivered with some beautiful photographs of the service. My other priority was family portraits, and though they are skilled in journalistic photographing, they did not disappoint here either. They even gifted me with some shots of the reception even though our contracted time had expired, so they are generous as well. Looking forward to working with them on creating an album!

g fall colors and beautiful golden hour. Even though the wedding was in March on a cold day, the outdoor photographs are extraordinary in color and composition. From start to finish, they captured all the special moments both as a couple as well as with family and friends. The photos combined both the spontaneous, candid joy between us and our guests as well all the composed shots we hoped for. Some of our favorite photos are the moments in between composed shots when we're laughing or dancing or having fun with our wedding party and family. As a Catholic couple, it was wonderful not having to worry about having to describe all the beautiful parts of the mass we wanted captured. They covered all of them. And for any non-Catholic couple, no matter the type of ceremony you have, Anya and Dan will capture the memorable moments. We can look through the photos of the ceremony, state park shoot locations, and reception and remember so well the joy and fun of the day. Also loved having two photographers! I also appreciated that they helped us come up with a timeline for the day and then made sure we stayed with it. I didn't have to worry about what was next, where to go, or what time it was. Anya and Dan had all that under control. My only regret is not having them come for ten hours (instead of eight) to capture some of the getting ready process.

It was difficult to find a photographer that truly understands what is important to Catholic families and also is familiar with any church restrictions for taking photos so finding Dan and Anya was fantastic and they did not disappoint us! They were the most professional and responsive vendors that we worked with for our entire wedding. They took very skillful photos at just the right time and lighting that made some beautiful winter wedding photos that we truly cherish. I could not recommend them more highly!

Anya even had some great advice on makeup to insure the photos would look great in our setting (late morning and outdoors). In addition to the fantastic experience they provided gorgeous pictures. tely incredible at walking us through every step - from figuring out the timing of our photos throughout the evening to maximize the best light while also making sure we had time to enjoy our wedding to coaching us through photos to help them look relaxed and not overly posed. They are especially great at capturing candid moments. Some of our favorite photos of the day were taken at times when I was completely unaware they were nearby. Every photo we got back from them was gorgeous. The hardest part for us was narrowing down which ones to include in our album! They also got our photos back to us incredibly fast, much faster than we thought was possible given how many photos they returned to us. We can't recommend them highly enough!

They were somehow able to actually capture so authentically the most beautiful and incredible day of my life: from intimate gazes of my husband and I to the sheer joy on our dancing guests faces. ntly lives in Denver, CO. He and Anya love to travel, so they were more than happy to come back to NJ in June to photograph our wedding. (Understandably (and we were happy to do to make sure they could do the pictures) airfare for the two of them was included in the price.) They were prompt the day of the wedding and took on our special requests (i.e. climbing a ladder at the reception to take a group photo of everyone there). We were married in Princeton, NJ and wanted to take photos at Princeton University. Dan followed up with the University to make sure we were able to take pictures on-campus & even asked if we could take pictures in the Gardens at the Prospect House (a thought that he came up with). We had extra time before the reception, so we walked over to an self-serve frozen yogurt and toppings shop. Every moment was a chance for them to catch a special moment. They snapped pictures while we were making our ice creams, Dan even hopped behind the counter to snap some more. Even though it wasn't part of our plan, the limo driver recommended another location for pictures. Anya and Dan were happy to head there to do more photos before the reception. They took pictures throughout the reception - start to finsih - including our group picture. They worked with our site coordinator to make sure everything was timed correctly. We received 25 preview pictures within a couple days after the wedding. They looked great. They ask for 4-6 weeks before you receive the remaining photos - with the teaser of the first 25, I can't wait to see the rest! Dan and Anya post all pictures to a password protected, private to your wedding site. You have all rights to them and can download and save/print any and all as much as you like (unlike other places we looked at). If you want a photo book, it is an additional charge (a little more than we wanted to pay, so we opted out - but still reasonable for other prices we were quoted for it by other vendors). They were dressed for the occassion and professional. It was a pleasure having Anya and Dan part of our wedding day. I highly recommend that other (soon-to-be) brides look at their site.
