My wife and I came to Michele and her Anyone Can Dance Studio to help us with our first dance for our upcoming wedding. Michele is the absolute best. She is truly a miracle worker. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a genuinely kind and wonderful person to go along with being a brilliant instructor and choreographer. My wife and I only had our first dance song and were looking for help with both choreographing and learning a dance to accompany it. We found Michele’s website online when looking for dance lessons to prepare for our wedding. From our first session, she was enthusiastic and invested in crafting a dance routine for our first dance. We had five sessions with her and she was hands on, making sure every little aspect of the dance was perfect - she even worked with us to speed up our song a bit and find a pace that fit our natural rhythm! She was friendly, passionate about what she does, and very easy to work with. Our first dance was one of the highlights of the night and it was so much fun taking lessons with Michele!

Best place to learn how to dance for your wedding even if you can’t dance

My husband and I took 2 private lessons with Michelle for our first dance and it helped us feel confident on our wedding day! She helped us choreograph an opening to the dance and a final dip move, then taught us fun spins that we just did intermittently during the song, so it wasn't a full routine to memorize which was much more approachable for us! We had a lot of fun learning and enjoyed our dance during the reception!

Michele is an amazing teacher. She made the whole process stress-free and fun. We are so happy that we found her studio! She is perfect for all skill levels and incredibly patient. Highly recommend!

Dancing with Michele was the most fun part of my wedding planning! She’s so nice and masters so many styles and willing to work with any music we chose. Our first dance turned out just as I envisioned: fun, classy, and had wow factors sprinkled here and there. We really enjoyed our five lessons with michele and appreciated her flexibility and availability. Her studio is conveniently located near Coolidge corner. We would often stay to chat with her at the end of lessons and we’re thinking about taking dance lessons for fun even after the wedding. My husband and I were both dreading the first dance a little, but Michele made the process easy and fun! Our guests were very impressed by our dance.

Michele was literally the best part about planning the wedding. The only thing we wanted was a choreographed dance and she made it happen in 10 weeks (you don't need that much, we just wanted the extra time). She'll take you from zero to whatever level you want to get to. We really looked forward to our lesson every week. It was fun and Michele is hilarious. Couldn't recommend it more highly. We're planning to return to take regular lessons for fun.

Michele was so fun and a great teacher! She helped us learn some simple choreography and a few beautiful spins and dips for our our first dance to One and Only by Adele. We're very inexperienced and she made it very doable and a really fun part of the wedding planning process. She also uses a great app that makes it easy to modify the song tempo and helped our band know the right tempo to perform the song on the wedding day. Really easy to coordinate with her as well.

Michele is amazing!! Before meeting Michelle, my now husband and I had no idea even how to box step which was nerve-wracking going into our wedding. But over 6 lessons, she helped ingrain the proper steps and the rhythm (well my husband still struggles with rhythm but thats a different story). Michele was fun to work with, she was very lively and observant. By the time our dance came around we both felt comfortable and ended up having a blast. Michele helped train my fiancé (now wife!) and I in some basic dance steps and moves for our wedding’s first dance and we had a great experience/would highly recommend her! She made the classes fun and engaging and we really appreciated all the help in getting ready for the big day. She was also particularly accommodative in postponing the expiration date of our gift card (gift from our parents) given multiple Covid-related delays for our wedding date. We took the 2-hour group class, and it was SO HELPFUL. My husband has a track record of being absolutely terrible at partnered dancing. After two hours with Michele, he was empowered to look at videos, practice on his own, and able to set the pace and lead our first dance. Michele is a fantastic patient instructor with great vision on how to arrange a dance, and above all patience for those of us who are less skilled in the dancing arts. Michele was so accommodating in holding our additional classes until we had a new wedding date and then we picked right back up where we left off. My fiancé and I took lessons just 4 weeks leading up to our wedding and asked Michele if she could teach us this specific dance we saw on YouTube to our first dance song. She said absolutely and was patient, fun, detailed and helped each of us learn to our parts. She was also insightful in helping us cut the song to what made sense in terms of timing, how long the dance was and what we wanted to accommodate some moves we wanted/didn’t wanted. Basically, something customized to what we were comfortable with! In the last week and half, we crazily decided to change songs and start over and she made it work to make sure we could accomplish what we needed. We had a blast with lessons and rocked it on the dance floor of our wedding night! We loved it. The guests loved it. My parents loved it. And our Facebook friends who didn’t come, enjoyed it! Needless to say, my husband and I have also decided to do our dance every year on our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed learning with Michele and practiced a lot as well. I first took lessons with Michelle 4 years ago. My girlfriend (now wife) invited me to her friend’s wedding. I was so nervous because I really wanted to impress her with some dancing. After 5 lessons with Michelle, I felt comfortable on the dance floor. The wedding was a success – We danced, we had fun, life is good! My wife and I took lessons with Michelle this summer practicing for our own wedding day in early August. Michele is a great choice for dance lessons for your wedding. My wife and I took three dance lessons to prepare for our first dance. Michele has worked with so many couples that she put us at ease and we really enjoyed the process. She looked at my wife's dress photos (without showing me of course) to figure out how the choreography would best play to her outfit. We learned a box step, several spins, a twirl, and a dip.
