My husband and I got married in October of 2020. For obvious reasons, we couldn’t go on our honeymoon immediately following. This year, we decided we’d put it off long enough. After much debate, we finally decided it was the right time to invest in a safari trip. I had been to South Africa before but my husband had never been, and I wanted it to be magical for him. We reached out to AP Travel hoping that a boutique company, with a preference to do curated travel would be the right fit, and it absolutely was! Amanda was not only highly responsive as we went about crafting the trip, but incredibly knowledgeable. She had experience with safaris in multiple countries and recommended if the goal was to see as many animals as we could, then we should go to Tanzania. She asked what other kinds of excursions we might be looking for - wine tasting, scuba diving, etc. - and when we responded with a desire for safari and some beach time, she came up with the perfect blend for us. We spent seven nights on safari with a group - also recommended as a benefit so we’d have a livelier time out on games drives than if it was just us and our driver - and five nights on the island of Zanzibar at a resort truly fit for a honeymoon. Working with AP Travel took the stress out of planning and allowed us to have an unforgettable trip. From the airport pick ups they arranged to the recommendation we pack carry-on due to delays in our transfer airport, they took care of us every step of the way. I don’t want to book another vacation without them!
