Paul and Hristina were so incredible to work with. They made my husband and I feel comfortable being photographed which can be a bit awkward, especially for my husband. They were responsive and timely with getting our photos back to us. On top of that, they are just super nice and friendly to be around, which is important since they are around you most of the big day! We are so pleased with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I can't say enough good things about Hristina and Paul! While there are many amazing choices for photographers in this area, my new husband and I would absolutely choose Aperture again and again to document our wedding day. Hristina and Paul were so great and easy to work with. We did an engagement shoot with them which was super helpful to get used to being in front of the camera. We have so far received a sneak peek of our wedding photos and everyone has been blown away! Our friends and families swear we look like models but I really truly believe it is all in the handiwork of the amazing photographers. Paul and Hristina were amazing to work with as we planned out our wedding. After meeting with Hristina in person, our decision on which photographer to choose was a no-brainer. Her presentation during our initial meeting was perfect. She was immediately warm and interested in our unique story. We set-up our engagement shoot and solidified our wedding date with them. The engagement shoot, and the subsequent photos we received from it, only helped to build our excitement for the actual wedding. Paul and Hristina are cool. They put us at ease. It felt like we were old friends even though we were essentially conducting business. On our wedding day, they were extremely organized and helped us stay on schedule. They seemed to work well with our vendors and once the formalities of the wedding were out of the way, I noticed them getting some good candid shots of our guests. However, they were never obtrusive. I had attended a wedding years prior where the photographers were in the guests' faces way too much, which, at times, dampened the experience. Paul and Hristina were not like that. They exceeded our expectations, and were a joy to work with. I highly recommend them for any photography needs. My wife and I can't wait to receive our wedding day photos!

Hristina and Paul were fantastic. They made the engagement and wedding photos something we didn't even have to worry about. They were so easy to work with and were just all around great. I wish we had another reason to have photos done! We'd hire them again on a second.

I hired Hristina and Paul for my wedding this past October and I cannot praise them enough for the way my photos turned out! They were not only super easy to work with, they put our entire bridal party at ease on the day of the wedding-- making for some laid back, natural looking photos! They took our vision for a nature-based photo session for the bride+groom shots and wedding party group shots and made them look even better than we imagined they could be. Hristina and Paul did a GREAT job at our wedding in September. They worked as a team to make sure we got all the pictures we wanted and were amazing in the moment with suggestions and changes due to weather. They blended in seamlessly throughout the day and we felt so comfortable around them. They were on top of all the details of the day and super easy to work with. My situation with aperture photography was interesting as Hristina and Paul did our engagement photos (beautiful) and then due to their baby being due right before my wedding, Kate and Mike from Greybird Galleries (shoutout) photographed my wedding and aperture did the editing. They handled the situation extraordinarily well! I loved the service I was given and I was kept in the loop every step of the way and I knew exactly what to expect on the day of! The pictures turned out even better than I imagined. Planning my wedding, I saw so many photographs of weddings, particularly photos of brides and their bridesmaids that were magazine perfect. I never expected my pictures to turn out as perfect as those. Surprise! They were better! I am in awe of how beautiful they are and it's hard to believe the pictures are of me and my girls! The pictures are that beautiful and high quality! I highly recommend this duo! They are great at what they do and make you feel very comfortable. You can easily see they are passionate for both photography and for giving you amazing photos. We also used the photobooth and it was so much fun!

I can't say enough about Hristina and Paul. We found them at the Columbus Bridal Expo and knew we had to hire them. Their photography style was exactly what we were looking for. Not only that but we felt that our personalities meshed perfectly. We hired them for our engagement photos, our wedding photos and had a photobooth run by a person during our wedding, which our guests loved! Two photographers makes a world of difference, they were everywhere on our big day, captured everything.

Paul and Hristina did an amazing job on our engagement photos. They are truly committed to providing the type of photographs you want. Hristina and Paul are amaing people and true professionals! We ran into them at a wedding festival in Columbus and we are very happy that we met them. I was very picky about the photographers as the wedding is once in a life time experience and I was looking for someone with caring mind, quality, and professionalism. They were willing to work out a deal with us after our initial meeting, which eased my anxiety and concern. I loved looking thru their portfolio and after discussing a few options in detail, I decided to go with this amazing photogrphers. We had lots of fun during our engagement session as well as our wedding day. They were very understanding and accommodating, which made us feel comfortable in front of the cameras. It's like having our best friends take our wedding photos. Paul worked so hard to edit our engageent photos, which were taken just a few days before our wedding day and we were able to receive them 2 days before our wedding as he had promised. It took them less than a month to have our wedding photos ready. We absolutely love our wedding photos and once again we feel lucky to have met them. Most photographers in the area are relatively pricey for the quality and quantity of the photos. But, at a very competitive price, Paul and Hristina take exceptional photos and offer you the best deal you could have. Also, they know a lot of cool places in the area that I never knew or heard of although I lived in the area for more than 12 yrs. You can count on this amazing couple! I will definitely come back to them for future events!!

We engaged Aperture Photography to photograph our wedding on Oct 4, 2014. They were amazing. If you are looking for a photographer who will make your wedding pictures perfect in every way, this is the one. The pictures are absolutely amazing and the photographer was unobtrusive throughout the ceremony and reception. Paul and Hristina of Aperture Photography are phenomenal photographers and a fantastic team. My husband and I live in Denver but we got married in our hometown of Cleveland. On a trip back to Ohio for the holidays, Paul and Hristina drove up from Columbus while we scouted out areas for our wedding shots. We knew we didn't want the traditional church or nature photos and they were more than enthusiastic about shooting our wedding photos in front of gritty, industrial sites in our hometown of Cleveland. We wanted to focus on non-traditional wedding shots because if we wanted a mountain backdrop we would have tied the knot in Colorado! Paul and Hristina photographed us in front of rusty bridges, railway cars, freeway underpasses, and steelyards. We couldn't be happier with the photos and we are so thrilled (and relieved) that our wedding day was captured by such talented, detail-oriented, artistic professionals. They rock and we'll sing their praises far and wide.

Hristina and Paul were incredible to work with- they made me and my husband feel at ease, were kind/flexible with our crazy family, got pictures of EVERYTHING and were incredible hard working. Their pictures are pieces of artwork (this coming from someone who was not even excited about Wedding pics). They are truly the best in Columbus.

We are so thrilled that we used Paul and Hristina as our photographers for our wedding! Unbeknownst to us, the photographers really make the whole wedding process smooth, and these two local photographers do an excellent job. They make everything stress free, fun, and were extremely professional. For the entire process, there was clear communication between us in respect to things we wanted, things we expected, things they needed and expected. Come wedding day, everything went off without a hitch, from the reveal, to the ceremony, and finally the reception. After we did the reveal prior to the ceremony, we knocked out all of the family photographs, which only left a few post ceremony pictures. After that, truth be told, until I checked up on them to make sure they had good food/drinks, I didn't even notice them. They blended in, did a professional job, and were a pleasure to work with.

We met Paul + Hristina at a bridal show in Columbus, OH. They drew my mom and I in with the photos they had hanging and their warm personalities. Paul + Hristina are amazing to work with...they went as far as following my neurotic Pinterest posts to entertaining all of my crazy photo ideas. They were there during our entire wedding & reception and helped with so much more than just taking photos. They are so creative and make you feel so comfortable with them.
