atrical events during and after performances. I’ve portrayed princesses such as Aurora, Cinderella, and Odette/Odile for all of my adult life. Somehow the idea of feeling like a princess on my own wedding day seemed strange, so as much as I am madly in love with my husband (and our 17 years together before our marriage!), I was unsure how to plan our special day. I wanted our day to be a celebration of our longstanding devotion and eternal commitment to one another and to be meaningful and fun not only for the two of us but also for all our loved ones who long anticipated the occasion.
I’m sure our day would have been meaningful to the two of us no matter what. But I highly doubt it could have been the extraordinary, stress-free, and memorable day that it became without the creative and organized event planning of Ryan Hill. My friends still reminisce about the heartwarming atmosphere, food, photo booth, and epic dance party at our wedding reception! Ryan perfectly and gracefully captured the whimsical and elegant mood that my husband and I desired. He took the greatest care in figuring out my personal taste and would run amazing ideas by me as our wedding day approached. I was free to make whatever choices I specifically wanted and also to trust in Ryan’s imagination and thorough experience in party planning. (Going to the opening night party for Hamilton was just one of many clues that Ryan and his Apotheosis Events are next level.) After exploring many exciting options within my budget, Ryan organized a wedding day that went beyond even our high standards and vivid imaginations.
Before the remarkable evening reception for 150 of our nearest and dearest, we exchanged vows in an intimate afternoon ceremony with just our immediate family and best man/matron of honor in attendance. The ceremony space was beautifully appointed and personalized by Apotheosis Events (at Little Owl the Venue in Greenwich Village) and embodied the private and joyful spirit of our relationship. While we took wedding photos outside in a lovely garden nearby (check out #murfelday on IG for pics!), Ryan and his team reconfigured the space from one of ceremony into a festive (and absolutely delicious) brunch. Later, at the evening’s festivities in a much larger event space, Ryan quietly coordinated flawless timing and happy surprises (including a big reveal of desserts that drew gasps from all our guests). His exceptional planning and organizing of the day was impeccable, and I had absolutely no worries leading up to the wedding and the reception. Clearly, I only have good things to say about Apotheosis Events, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how Ryan Hill and his team coordinated my ultimate day. Thanks to Apotheosis Events I could savor every moment of marrying the love of my life, and together we can look back at the perpetual beauty and happiness of our wedding day.

e were getting married. (We'd chosen her because she knew our location - we live in New York and were doing everything remotely.) Two weeks before our day she informed us that she was taking another job on our wedding day, leaving us in the lurch. And thank god she did because we got Ryan in her stead. He listened closely to what we wanted, invented where our imaginations stopped short, and created a seamless, FUN, beautiful, personal, perfect event for us. With only two weeks notice! Our event was entirely out-side, on a small, rustic ranch with few amenities - everything had to be rented: bathrooms, caterers, ice, etc., and Ryan juggled all of it gracefully and professionally, allowing me and husband to enjoy our day totally stress-free! Multiple people have since told me it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, because it was gorgeous and organized but still grounded and personal and fun and that is because of Ryan and Apotheosis Events.
