About this vendor
Apple Acres Farm offers ceremonies and tented receptions in our beautiful organic apple orchards, overlooking the Saco River Valley. Our farm has been run by the same family for three generations, and we have worked with some of southern Maine's finest caterers, florists and photographers to create unforgettable moments for our happy couples. As a working farm with a country store and pick-your-own orchard, we offer a limited number (7-10) of wedding openings throughout the summer and fall. This allows us to focus deeply on each event and make it truly personal and special. We also offer our handmade farmhouse tables to rent for your reception. Our coordinator also acts as your day-of conduit between all your vendors and guests making sure everything goes smoothly. Book a tour today!

Beautifully nestled between the apple trees and surrounded by a clear view of the mountains, we loved this venue for our wedding! The staff were helpful to provide any services we needed throughout the day. This venue is perfect for a couple who loves the outdoors, or apple cider donuts.
Molly and her staff were super helpful. They offered their help with each detail - before, during, and after the wedding. We had chosen to use Apple Acres for our rehearsal dinner as well and it was so amazing. The food and vibe were incredible. Her team was really friendly and a breeze to work with. The venue itself was absolutely stunning. You cannot beat the true, authentic New England backdrop with mountains and stunning autumn foliage at this beautiful farm.
This orchard is glorious--serene, rustic, wild. The staff is attentive and proactive, and so thoughtful, it really feels like they are paying attention to only you. We had them cater our rehearsal dinner in their treehouse room, and then hosted our wedding the following day. Their coordination and decoration service was really great, and the hot cider doughnuts during the dance party were the hit of the day! We couldn't imagine having chosen another venue, and they worked through a COVID postponement with us with no issues. Highly recommend Molly and Apple Acres for your wedding!!!
Our wedding at Apple Acres was magical. The scenery amongst the apple trees is beautiful. Molly and her team did such an amazing job decorating and organizing our event. So happy we chose their venue for our special day. Highly recommended.
We couldn’t have possibly had a more perfect space for our wedding! The new room is gorgeous; somehow modern, elegant and rustic all at the same time. The staff was beyond helpful and kind. We’re literally already planning our 5th or 10th year anniversary party there in our heads!🤞😆😆♥️♥️♥️
If you are looking for a great view and very helpful people, you will want to get married at Apple Acres! I have been apple picking here ever since I remembered. So when I found out they hosted weddings, I couldn’t think of anywhere else! Molly was so great in answering any questions I had and staying in contact with me! The owners are nice enough to give you their own house to use to get ready. We are so happy we chose Apple Acres and will continue to enjoy their beautiful location in years to come!
We came to Apple Acres with no expectations after a lot of disappointment in visiting other potential venues (too expensive, no personalization allowed, strict rules with no exceptions, wedding factories where they don’t care about us), but after taking a walk around and chatting with Molly, we knew it was the place for us.
Throughout the entire process, Molly was our rock! Having patience with us when we were not the most proactive planners, she made it all work. With Apple Acres, we had our wedding exactly as we wanted, down to the last detail. The farm has a good vendor list, and we used their suggestion for florals, which were probably my favorite part of the wedding. Molly created beautiful lighting options for us with cafe lights and a luminary-lit path, as well as arranged the items we needed to rent. All of the other vendors that we brought in mentioned to us how much they loved working with Molly and at the farm. The tables we borrowed from the farm were handmade and gorgeous; they needed very minimal decoration and we used garlands of greenery to highlight their natural beauty.
On the music front, we really wanted live music and Molly and Bill helped in finding a band that was available on our date. This was not an easy task. When the band’s guitarist couldn’t play our ceremony music, Molly played cello for us (and it was amazing)! Everybody says that your wedding day will go by in a blur, and that’s true – but one very vivid memory I have is waiting with my father to walk down the aisle, watching dragonflies flit around, and taking a deep breath and focusing on the cello music before the big moment.
The setting is spectacular and at sunset the sky melts into oranges and reds, gradually fading out to a blueish purple that deepens as all of the stars emerge. A lot of our guests commented on the night sky and the mountains surrounding us; it was beautiful.
We are grateful for the help and care we had in putting together our wedding, and also believe in the ethos of the farm, which is earning its organic certification and has sustainable practices. Apple Acres is a very special place for those couples looking for a farm wedding high in romance and charm.
Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed it to be! The way everything turned out would not have been possible without the one on one attention we received when choosing vendors and rentals. We had just moved to Maine and had little knowledge of where to begin but used all of the recommendations given by Apple Acres and were so pleased! The professionalism and care that was put into every decision made our special day go with out a hitch. The setting and views were romantic and perfect for pictures. We love the farm’s home made donuts and they made them special for us, almost four months before they normally start donut season. The donuts were an instant hit with our guests and none were left when the night was over. Our family and friends are still talking about how wonderful our wedding was thanks to Apple Acres!
Not only is this an absolutely gorgeous farm with beautiful views of the mountains, but the people are extremely kind and easy to work with. Molly was a great contact and always responsive to each of my never-ending questions. We stayed in the farmhouse on location the night before and it was so convenient. The day before and the morning of the wedding, they helped set up and got everything ready for guests to begin arriving. They have so many options for different things you can do and use (we rented a ladder and wheelbarrow for our decorations from them, as well as a small photobooth backdrop). Their beautiful farm tables really helped set the tone and it was great to not have to rent tables. One of my bridesmaids was also my florist and they allowed us to use one of their kitchens to prepare all of the arrangements.
Again, the folks at Apple Acres are wonderful to work with, excellent communicators, and I dare you to find a location that offers this much service at this price. Most everywhere else with a farm setting was double or triple this price.
Everyone at the farm was extremely accommodating, and even though it rained I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding. Molly even offered to line the aisle with apple blossoms and branches to make up for the bad weather. The price and their willingness to work with you to make your day stress free and perfect goes above and beyond what you would typically see. I would highly recommend apple acres!
