the style of flowers I wanted and did so within my minimal budget. Additionally, she guided me toward a more muted color scheme that complimented our wedding colors without competing with my dress. Our wedding day was perfect and the flowers were no exception to that perfection. The flowers look stunning in our relatives’ photos. However, despite my ready money, effective communication skills, and quick decision making, it took about six months to finalize the flower order. With one other exception, I finished almost all other planning and organization within a month of my engagement. I am the opposite of a procrastinator, which made it frustrating to have to make call after call and send e-mail after e-mail to Apple Blossom. While Mechelle had a number of very valid excuses (she lost an employee and had a family situation), she repeatedly failed to call or e-mail when she said she would. Understandably, I began to search for another florist. However, by that time, it was too close to our wedding date and the other local florists were booked. Before I conclude, I’d like to add that, about a week before the wedding, I decided to add 10 cups of white rose petals to the order. These petals were for my flower girl. Mechelle matched the price I’d found online, and this addition was conducted seamlessly and speedily. I wish all our interactions had been of this quality. In a spirit of fairness, I would recommend Apple Blossom Florists for the excellence and affordability of their product, but I would warn prospective customers about the potentially problematic communication surrounding an order.
