We had our wedding at Apple Blossom Resort and it was the best decision we could have made. We knew going into our wedding that we didn’t want a weekend that was over in the blink of an eye after a year and a half of planning. We wanted a place where we could have our closest friends and family stay with us on the property and celebrate all weekend long. Apple Blossom was perfect for that.
The main house was the ideal size for our wedding party to stay in comfortably, and the two additional houses on the property gave plenty of space for family and ourselves. Everything about the layout made it easy for everyone to be together without feeling crowded.
The property itself is beautiful and full of things to do. The day before the wedding we spent time playing pickleball and basketball, grilling out, and having a pool party with our friends and family. That night, the space worked perfectly for our rehearsal dinner and welcome party.
On the wedding day, the ceremony location was stunning and exactly what we envisioned. We had cocktail hour by the pool, which was the perfect transition into the reception. The tent setup with the lights created such a fun, intimate atmosphere for dancing and celebrating all night.
The property is extremely well maintained, and Jorge is an incredible host. He was always just a call or text away and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.
If you’re looking for a venue that gives you the chance to spend an entire weekend celebrating with your favorite people, this is the perfect place. Our friends are already talking about coming back for a group vacation.
Apple blossom is a great wedding venue! We hosted our wedding weekend here and the experience was really special. The property is well maintained and thoughtfully stocked in addition to being incredibly comfortable for all guests. We were able to seamlessly host a welcome party, wedding & reception, and a Sunday brunch through Dwell and a few great local vendors. There are a lot of key things that come with the wedding package but my husband and I did a lot of planning to bring it all to life. If you want your wedding to be a celebration and an experience, I recommend Apple Blossom Resort.

Apple Blossom Resort is a one-of-a-kind luxury rental property featuring three homes and extensive outdoor space on a private 18-acre estate in SW Michigan’s idyllic Harbor Country, just 70 miles from Chicago.
With sleeping accommodations for up to 48 guests and outdoor event space for up to 200 guests, Apple Blossom Resort is an inspired site for events that are fun, modern, and laid-back.
The sprawling 8,000 sq ft estate was designed to accommodate private gatherings that feel intimate, relaxed, and elegant. Modern construction, thoughtful design, high-end amenities, and personalized touches ensure that our guests experience the comforts of home in a boutique setting nestled in the woods near Lake Michigan.
The custom-built Main House features 7 spacious bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and a sleek open concept chef’s kitchen/great room perfectly suited for intimate receptions, rehearsal dinners, and day-after brunches.
The Guest House provides an additional 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms that are ideal for guests who benefit from additional privacy. Combining rustic charm and contemporary design, The Cabin is a tucked-away sanctuary for the wedding couple.
The property’s adaptable layout makes it an ideal home base for celebrations that unfold over several unforgettable days. Our unique location lends a secluded vibe to every occasion while being moments away from all that this special region has to offer. The estate is located moments away from Lake Michigan’s pristine beaches and the region’s beach communities along Red Arrow Highway. Union Pier is moments away and it is a short drive to family-friendly New Buffalo.

We purchased our first property in Harbor Country in 2008. Initially, it was our getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life in Chicago. After some time passed, we decided to open our home to renters. In 2010, we began buying homes, remodeling, and furnishing them to create exceptional vacation rentals. We currently own and manage 5 vacation rentals and in 2015 became full-time residents in beautiful SW Michigan.
