The Chandelier Barn was stunning, with lights wrapped around each beam, and chandeliers hanging from high ceilings giving an elegant touch to the rustic wood finishes. The event grounds were absolutely beautiful, with rolling hills and plenty of scenic spots to take stunning pictures. There were also two really cute cottages for the wedding party to spend the night and get ready for the wedding in comfort. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Even when the HVAC wasn't working in the groom's cabin, Susan's team stayed late into the evening to fix it and make sure that the bridal party stayed comfortable. Susan and her team treated us like family, and made us feel like we were right at home. They took so many of the normal stresses and worry of wedding planning away. If you are looking for a rustic venue to have an indoor or outdoor wedding anywhere near Pell City Alabama, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!!!

through all of the logistics with us, answered our questions, and asked us questions we had not thought of. The venue itself is beautiful, both inside the barn and outside. We had yard games set up outside and a band played inside, and we had a playlist going while the band was off. There is also a fire pit. Everyone had a blast, including kids. We so appreciate all of the staff for helping set up, shuttling folks to the parking lot, and cleaning up after the party. Definitely recommend and would use this venue again.

The day of the wedding she continued exceeding expectations. Her and her team ensure that the stress is taken off of you on your day. With rain being a threat on our big day, she did a great job of making sure we knew when decisions had to be made. They managed all of the vendors day of which made sure none of us or our parents had to deal with anything. Susan and Applewood Farm should be a top choice for any bride/groom looking to get married in the Pell City area. Susan - thank you again for all that you did!

Even though it poured down rain, Susan and her staff had everything ready for it. The golf carts were completely covered so that no one was rained on, the entrance was covered as well. It was truly a beautiful wedding and everything went above and beyond what we could ask or imagine. I even had a friend who said that was the most beautiful wedding she had ever attended. Hats off to Susan and her staff. I would highly recommend Applewood to anyone searching for a wedding venue.

didn’t have a clear idea of what I wanted. Susan was able to pull out my likes and wants and create them into a beautiful dream. The week of my wedding I was so over the planning and wanted to elope. Three days before the wedding I met with Susan again with my mom. There were still decisions to be made and Susan helped me through each and every one. On the big day, everything went without a hitch. Susan made decisions for me and I couldn’t have done a better job. I can’t give her and Applewood enough praise. I highly recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful venue and a dream team.

he driveway was blocked off. We told the lady there that we could not walk and it was hard for us to get into a golf cart. She spoke with someone and they said to let us through. When we arrived at the barn, where the reception was to take place, we were told we could not park by the barn and that our car would be moved. I said that would not happen and this man said "I'm the owner and those are the rules." I told him how rude he was being to Mother and Me. I proceeded to take our gifts inside. When I got back to the car, I told him that I knew Bill and Barbra Alvis who had built this lovely farm and they would have NEVER spoken to a guest the way he had spoken to Mother and me and that he had ruined the reception for us. He could have cared less. He is suppose to be representing the bride and groom and be courteous to their guests. It might be a pretty venue, but beware if you want your guests to be treated as if they are welcomed.

o set up the outside ceremony with signs and flowers down the aisle etc. She hardly left my side the whole night, not right next to me but a good 10 ft to make sure we were going to schedule, to see if I needed anything to drink or eat, to casually recommend we do pictures or cutting of the cake. She made it fun and care free. I did not have to worry about anything. The staff were so sweet as well! GORGEOUS venue, I definitely recommend it!

She offered advice as I planned my wedding (as I didn't have much help) but ultimately let me make all the calls and helped me put together a beautiful day! She really helped on wedding day especially with corralling my vendors, family, and wedding party into being on time and stress-free. Loved everything about my wedding at Applewood Farm!

wedding day 6 months later we experienced so much more. The owner(s) and staff took control and handled everything so professionally. Everything went off like clockwork. Everyone that worked there was so helpful and kind from the start of our day until we all drove away. They treated us all like family. Between the BEAUTIFUL land, cabin, barn...everything and the wonderful crew I can't imagine a better venue!

The cost varies from day of the week to time of the year. As well as hours spent on site. You are not limited to which vendors you may bring in which is nice when budgeting! Definitely pros!
