y wedding and I'm anxiously waiting to see all the photos she took. For the two sessions I've seen her work, she has done a wonderful job and has been patient with us. I would say I am a difficult client and I lose patience easily. I don't do well with getting my picture taken for a long time but April has been very accomdating and made sure she takes beautiful pictures within a short time frame. She was extremely helpful on my wedding day as well. She helped with everything she could, even when I had misplaced my wallet. Her and her staff helped me when I was panicking the most. She made my wedding day as relaxing as I could have it. I would recommend her to anyone whom is looking for a photographer for any occasion.

ct 100% of the time, I definitely strive to please everyone. I truly desire to give the utmost quality for my clients. On January 2, 2016 I drove from VA to NC to capture a wedding (a 5 hour drive). The reviewer is Dina H. and her wedding date was not on December 24, 2015 it was January 2, 2016. As contracted, I told the family I would provide 6 hours of photography and video coverage with my assistant. My two trips to NC for the family were also provided for free of charge. I would edit photos and stream RAW unedited video clips together for them as their budget was too low to afford any video editing. They were contracted to pay $1,500 for everything. The groom's family told me that since they are the ones who have paid me that I am not to listen to the requests of the brides family. The brides family demanded 2 female photographers while the grooms family demanded a male and a female photographer. After many messages of harrassment from both sides of the family I followed the grooms orders as he is the only person who signed the contract. When I arrived at the prep location there were assault rifles being fired aimlessly into the air. Some women were very upset and children were crying. I feared for my life.This is when the bride yelled at me to run outside and videograph open fire (as my assistant was already outside amongst it). I was in charge of photos and the assitant was there for videos. When we arrived at the reception my assistant was forced to leave immediately because he was a male and I was left alone to provide both photography and videography for 4 additional hours alone (which I did with not one break or complaint). I mailed their package on time within the 4-6 week time frame I promised. I have provided two separate streams of their videos which I have spent many hours in preparing for them. I provided photo editing as promised. I have gone well above and beyond what has been expected of me and my services in my personal safety and professionalism. I have been harassed for several months by this family (before the wedding began). The bride and grooms family can not get along or agree on anything. As they do not want to pay for editing I will not edit a video. I see in Dina's comment that she will be actually paying an individual to edit video, which I offered to do for compensation. I do not believe in scare tactics, bullying or further harrassment to make me do more work for free.

he made sure to photograph the decorations, wedding guests, and every moment of the day. A couple days after the wedding she sent me a sneak peek of the photos by sending over 4,000 proof photos. A few weeks after, we received the edited photos which were beautiful. She even sent two photo books that she took the time to put together, which turned out perfect. April is great at what she does and my husband and I couldn't be happier with her service and great price. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a wedding day photographer!

rofessional. On the day of, she arrived early and was very helpful. April felt more like a friend then someone I hired to photograph my wedding. She captured so many pictures and the true essence of our wedding. April is a beautiful person inside and out and I pray I will be able to work with her again. I highly recommend her! She is such a joy and just an all around WONDERFUL person!!!

I get all the pics from the wedding but I have no doubt that they will be wonderful!

phers who stated they would be willing to work with small budgets, but, I found that not to be true; until I found April. She agreed to charge us by the hour at an extremely reasonable rate. She explained exactly what we would be getting for a price. She and her assistant were very responsive to my emails and calls. We talked about the type of photographs we wanted and she totally came through. She arrived at the venue on time and in the 1.5 hours we agreed, she took over 900 photographs!! Because we had agreed to hire her services by the hour, we knew that we would not be getting a whole package. As promised, three weeks after the wedding we received 3 CDs with all our photographs beautifully edited, all for under $200. While it took us a while to go through all the photographs and cut them down to a reasonable size to share with friends and family, we enjoyed the project a lot, and it was worth it for us to do it this way. I know April has different packages depending on your budget and wishes, but of all the photographers I spoke to, she was a) the fastest to respond to my email; and b) the one most willing to work with us given our budget limitation. All our friends and family love the photographs, and overall it was great working with her. 100% recommend her services. I'm not sure when I'll ever need a photographer again, but if I'm still in the area, I'll definitely be calling April again!
