April was on time, professional and communicated with us throughout our entire planning process. We would absolutely recommend her services to anyone looking for an amazing officiant. With covid and needing to move our date out more than a year, she stayed in touch with us and checked in on our progress. We wanted a unique and unplugged ceremony and she made that happen. She even took the time to check in with me in the bridal suite before the ceremony started to make sure I was ready, and assured me that everything was going as planned! She was well spoken, prepared and executed our ceremony flawlessly. We did a handfasting ritual and involved our 3 children and she literally helped us tie the knot. Thank you April!

April made such a beautiful and customized ceremony for me and my husband. She was always very responsive and answered all of our questions. She also went out of her element and did a tree planting ceremony for us. She made us feel very comfortable! I could ask for a better wedding!

April was amazing for our recent ceremony that was planned within just ONE month! She works with you and makes you feel comfortable from the very beginning. April was open, willing and certainly patient while working with us throughout our journey with all the COVID-19 restrictions. We could not say enough about April and how beautiful our ceremony was. We would recommend her to anyone that would need a justice of the peace!

I don't think anything can faze April. When lightning struck less than 800 feet away during our ceremony, April just kept on going as if nothing had happened. Earlier in the planning process, April was equally cool when COVID forced us to replan the wedding several times. Acts of nature aside, April is amazing to work with. The first time we talked to her on the phone, it felt like we were catching up with an old friend. We instantly knew we had found our officiant. April works very hard to give you the wedding ceremony you want, while also using her expertise to help guide you through any parts of the ceremony that you might not be so sure about. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

April was amazing at our wedding. She created a beautiful speech, and incorporated all our requests to make it very personal to both of us. She comes HIGHLY recommended!

April was amazing the whole way through. We spoke to her in February about doing our wedding in July, but Covid happened and we changed plans. April was nothing but supportive and accommodating about the process. She walked us through the technical parts from getting the marriage license and what to expect after. She was so thoughtful when she crafted our ceremony, her words were so spot on and the ceremony it self was magic. She was thoughtful to our friends and family on zoom and our parents and siblings that were there with us. I could not say enough about April and how professional and friendly she is. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect and it felt like being married by our best friend. If I could give 20 stars I would.

Its taken me too long to actually write this review. April was absolutely wonderful. We are so happy that we chose her to be apart of our special day. She was so kind and my whole family agreed that she put together a wonderful ceremony. My new husband and I are not very good with words or speaking in public but because of April we were able to laugh and smile while being the center of attention. If anyone I knew was getting married April would be my recommendation a million times over!

Where do we start with such a wonderful human being! Kaytlyn and I met April back when she married Kaytlyn’s sister and husband. We were stunned by such a beautiful ceremony, we knew right then who we wanted to marry us because we couldn’t imagine our wedding without her! We met with April a year before our wedding, she spent quite sometime with us that evening to try and capture us as a couple and that she sure did. She was so welcoming and she was super rad! She continued to keep in touch in regards to what we really wanted for our ceremony and vows, giving us several different options and always being patient and kind with us in the process. She understood we both were not very much of public speakers and made it so easy for us to say our vows. She wrote the most beautiful wedding ceremony as it was better than we could ever have imagined. Our favorite thing that April did for us is she added great humor to our ceremony, that fit us perfectly! The laughs she got will forever be remembered and make for a memorable day for us. She made the emotions flow at our wedding and we can not thank her enough for everything she did and the time she spent with us we surely will never forget. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for a officiant/JP! If you are looking for someone amazing for your special day, April is your girl!

My wife and I spent so much time thinking about who would officiate our wedding. We over thought as much as possible. So we searched online and found April. We're so happy we found her! She was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. She was detailed, kept in touch through the process, and made sure we had everything we needed before the ceremony. We wanted to have a hand fasting as part of our ceremony. Our wedding planner was the last one seen with the cord for it. She was nowhere to be found. April without missing a beat, once we realized what happened, just said "ok let's do a simple hand ceremony". It was still beautiful and our guests were still touched by it. We couldn't have asked for a better ceremony thanks to her.

I had booked April on short notice and she definately did not dissapoint! The vows she had written for my husband and I were perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better justice and service. It was great! I would definately hands down recomend April for weddings!

April was amazing! Before the wedding we talked back and forth a bunch. She took time to get to know my husband and I! She listened to exactly what we wanted and made our ceremony everything we wanted. She included our two children which was so special! I would recommend her to any couple looking for an officiant.

My fiancé and I planned a little last minute and wanted a very simple ceremony. April’s website caught our eye and we are so glad we found her ! She was ready and willing to marry us in a park close to home but the threat of rain made my kitchen the place to be. April supplied us with several choices of vows as we were clueless! She was very helpful and always available. She spoke wonderfully at the ceremony and made it so easy. It was a beautiful moment and so easy. We would recommend her to anyone.

I can not say enough good things about April. She worked with my indecisiveness like the pro she is to create a truly amazing ceremony that fit us so well. The day of she was just flawless. April was amazing to work with from the start. We wanted a more non traditional funny, yet short ceremony and she couldn’t have made it more perfect. With what little information we gave her to work with she captured our lives perfectly. All while keeping everyone entertained and laughing. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved our ceremony and her. I’d highly recommend her for any type of ceremony as she was so knowledgeable and easy to work with. She captured us and our personalities perfectly, and put together a meaningful and heartfelt ceremony despite our only having corresponded over email. All of the reviews I read before hiring April were spot on - she is AMAZING and SO good at what she does! She is a wizard and somehow wrote a ceremony as if she were our best friend for years after only meeting us for coffee for an hour and sending a few emails. HOW?! She’s just magic, I tell you. She created the perfect mix of cute/funny/sentimental/romantic and had my guests (and my groom and I) laughing one moment and tearing up the next.

I knew from the start April would be the perfect person to preform our ceremony! April made everything so easy and really captured our relationship. Words cannot express my appreciation to this woman. I had to change my date and my original justice could not make it. My frantic search resulted in so many recommendations for April I sent her a request. She had no problems with my anxiety, stress, and lack of wanting to be involved. With the absolute minimal info that I gave her she drafted me the most perfect ceremony. Everything she did put me at ease and I cant thank her enough for rescuing my day. She is the sweetest person and so professional and personable I could not have found a better fit! We got the wrong food, my DJ got my first and last name wrong. But April was perfect and she is part of the happiest day of my life. We cannot possibly stress enough how happy we were with everything she did for us.

April Rocks!!! Best decision we made to have her officiate our wedding on 9/22/18. When searching online for a JP to officiant our same sex wedding, her photo and bio popped up and we knew she was the one for us. She traveled over an hour to perform our ceremony, showed up early and hugged me as soon as she walked through door. April gave us an outline and said to make any changes we wanted. We added a few personal touches, ceremony was flawless. Entire process working with April was fun and stress free. She has an amazing personality, very professional, calm demeanor and always responds quickly. Got so many compliments from guests about how perfect our ceremony was and they could “feel the love.” Such a pleasure to work with, you won’t be disappointed!

We can't recommend April enough. From the start she was easy to work with and receptive of our vision. We exchanged multiple emails, she asked questions to get to know us on a personal level, and quickly adjusted things as our ideas changed. Our ceremony was exactly as we imagined. Multiple guest commented how personal it was and were shocked to hear that we hadn't even met her before the wedding. I can't imagine our ceremony without April being apart of it

She responded to every message within minutes and put together exactly what we were looking for without much input from us. Her personality is amazing! We hired April after my grandmother decided that officiating our ceremony would be way too emotional for her. From the start April was very responsive and helpful. I had chosen her after seeing all of the great reviews on here, and she did not disappoint! She had me send her over a little blurb about my fiance and I, and she was able to craft the perfect ceremony. I had gone back and forth about how to incorporate our kids in the ceremony, and she created the perfect family vows, and brother sister necklace ceremony. People still can not stop talking about how beautiful (and cute) the ceremony was. April seriously did an amazing job and was so easy to work with. She made sure I had all of my ducks in a row and made the whole process very stress free! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to create a beautiful and unique ceremony!

April was absolutely incredible!! So personable and down to earth, positive with a bubbly attitude and made my wedding day less stressful and even more exciting!! If your looking for someone that's not like every other JP and fun to be around, then April is your woman!! April did such an awesome job marrying my husband and I. She assisted me from day one with any questions I had. She did a wonderful job with the vows, opening and closing statements. She has such a great personality too, you won't be disappointed with her! April is also an amazing photographer and took fabulous pictures of Jon and I! April was great. Even gave me suggestions as to location for my elopement. Even took pictures of the family. Can’t say enough of her. Dry attentive and sweet. Took time and made arrangements to meet out date. Thank you for making this special occasion amazing !!!

April was absolutely fantastic from the beginning. She was so great and easy to work with! Her personality was just what we were looking for. She answered all questions within minutes. She even added quotes from the Step Brothers movie into our vows. It was funny but yet perfect. I highly recommend April to anyone looking for a fun and loving JP!

I really wish that I could give April more stars. She truly is an amazing person. She was there for me and my fiance (now hubby) every step of the way. She has amazing ideas and great attention to detail. You can tell she completely loves what she does. Not once in my long engagement did I ever question my choice in hiring her. She listened when I needed to vent and was amazing at trying to problem solve with me. All of the guests are still telling me how sweet and wonderful she was. Also if you are eloping, she has amazing photography skills! Do yourself a favor and give her a shot, you wont be disappointed.

April is fantastic at what she does! She officiated our ceremony in September and we couldn't have been happier. She is very easy to work with and really personalized the vows around the couple. She is organized and was good at reminding me when I needed to do certain things on my end. She's a wonderful person and truly added a special touch to our day. I wish I could leave April more than 5 stars. We approached April with ideas of what we'd like the ceremony to be, and were immeadiatly greeted with kindness and enthusiasm. She got to know us, and wrote a ceremony that had both my husband and I in tears before we even recited our vows, whilst incoporating the nerdy touches that are a part of who we are. Never would I have thought so many Star Wars and Legend of Zelda quotes could be woven into such a beautiful ceremony so seamlessly, never sounding cheesy (which was my concern when my husband enthusiastically agreed they were needed, I now whole heartedly agree) but bringing many smiles to us and all of our loved ones, and reflecting a big part of our shared interests. She made our wedding ceremony everything we wanted, and more, even including our son in the unity candle ceremony. I highly recommend anyone who wants a ceremony to reflect who they are and the love they share to have April officiate. I can't for even a moment imagine anyone else standing up there with us, pronouncing us man and wife. The force is strong with this one!

I just want to say Dan and I got married July 15,2017 and April was so amazing! She customized our vows to show who Dan and I really are. She is so wonderful and caring. This isn't just a job to her. My husband and I wanted an officiant to provide a heartfelt, non-religious ceremony. April did just that. Her ceremony was eloquent and beautiful, from start to finish, and tailored to us. She had many options for vows in case you don't want to write your own, and she learned the history of our relationship so she could weave it into the ceremony. We would recommend April to any couple looking for something a little different on their special day.

April officiated our wedding on May 20,2017 and she was SPECTACULAR! From the first time I spoke with her, I felt like I had known her forever. I immediately knew that she HAD to be the one to complete our special day. You can tell she not only loves what she does, but she was made for it. I never once worried about our ceremony, our vows, or the legal process of our marriage license. She took our ideas for our vows, and wrote them for us (creative inspiration is not our forte). Our vows were the most beautiful piece of art I have ever read. I highly recommend April to anyone who wishes to obtain the perfect dream of a wedding everyone chases. I know ours was ☺️

When I first found April online, I was drawn to her style- a little funky! We are not the type to have a stuffy, traditional wedding ceremony so we knew we wanted to go with someone willing to make it unique and special to us. Every communication with April was comfortable, open and prompt- she always responded quickly and answered every question I had. Upon first meeting, both my (now) husband and I instantly felt comfortable with her. She took a lot of time to ask us questions about our relationship and really left no stone unturned. When we left we felt confident that this was our person- we had a lot in common and felt she really "got us" We were able to work with her to put together the perfect ceremony and when the day came, she delivered 150%! There was not a dry eye in the place. What she put together was sweet, meaningful and perfect for what we wanted- she even worked with us so we could have a translator for some of our family members who needed the ceremony in Spanish. April's goal, from the beginning, was for people to think we have been friends for years when she performed our ceremony. When people actually said "oh, I thought you were already good friends!" Or "I can't believe you didn't know each other before this!" I knew she had done what she set out to do. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts, for being everything we could have wanted and more. You made our wedding day so incredibly special!
