e photos were light, airy, gorgeous, and timeless. Most of all, my friend said she had a blast during her session and that April made her feel beautiful! A couple of months later, I was in the middle of wedding planning and decided I would love to have bridal portraits made at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. My mind immediately went to April and I contacted her immediately to book a bridal session! April was so easy to communicate with and I felt like I knew her before I even met her! During my session, April made me feel beautiful, elegant, radiant, and so special! I look back on that day as one of the most joyful days of my life. After my bridal session, I looked at April and told her that she would take every single photo of my family for the rest of eternity! And she has done just that! April has been our go-to girl ever since and I wouldn't have it any other way! From a bridal session, Christmas photos, professional headshots for my husband's job, a baby announcement, maternity photos, to an in-home newborn session, April has truly done it all and I love the story her photos tell of my precious family! My husband and I love that April has become such a close friend that encourages, lifts up, and supports our marriage! April has been and will without a doubt continue to be there for every life event with the sweetest smile on her face ready to document every little detail! I absolutely recommend April to anyone that is looking for an extremely talented, encouraging, loving, and down-to-earth photographer that will without a doubt turn into a lifelong God-sent friend! April is simply put, the BEST photographer in Alabama!

nd bright wedding photos. I contacted her and met her in person and knew she was the perfect person to photograph our wedding. She is kind, easy to communicate with, always there to calm my nerves, and excellent at prioritizing those special unique moments I wanted captured on our wedding day. She took our engagement and wedding day photos. I felt at peace in her presence rather than a ball of anxiety. On my wedding day, just her voice calmed me when directing us in photos. She built me up with her encouraging words throughout the day! My favorite photo she took was a full shot of the ceremony including us and all our guests taken from the entrance to the church. It is a perfect photo to remember our day by and I’m so thankful to have had April take our photos. Her business is much more than photos, it’s her kindness and life-giving spirit and prayers. I can’t recommend her enough!

o easy to work with, supportive, and professional. She gave me advice where needed and was obviously very experienced. It was late by the time the proposal actually happened so it was very dark and we didn’t give her too much to work with. The photos turned out amazing anyways and the proposal was fully captured. my fiance proposed, she came and captured that indescribable moment in our lives! (We didn't want anyone there but us for the proposal, so she came right after and we reenacted the moment.) She even did an engagement session for us in our proposal spot! Looking back at those pictures brings back the exact emotions I felt that day. She captured those feelings so well, that it is easy to relive them over and over--something we would not have without April's photos. Considering she is also one of my best friends (and bridesmaids), she obviously couldn't be our wedding photographer. Instead, she took my bridal portraits! She is so amazing working with brides.
