Apropos For Flowers

This past October, our daughter had a Friday wedding 1 hr away from the Fresno area. We ordered her flowers from Mimi of Apropos Flowers. Long story short, we were given a delivery time of 1pm or earlier for the photos. By 2pm we realized the flowers had not been delivered. Our daughter contacted Mimi and by her own admission, she dropped the ball and would try to have someone be at the venue by 3:30pm which turned into 3:50pm. Now we have permanent pictures of the bride and bridesmaids taken before the ceremony without flowers that we paid for. Our daughter stressed before the ceremony wondering if her bouquet would arrive in time, instead of focusing on the magnitude of walking down the aisle to her awaiting husband. The florist feels that the flowers were delivered 10 mins before the start of the wedding and that is sufficient. Everyone was scrambling to handout the bouquets, bouts, and set up the sweetheart table. Clearly, the florist has no understanding of the emotions she caused. Her contract states, "satisfaction guaranteed," yet she feels her lack of attention to detail doesn't matter to the bride. It is insulting that Mimi is only willing to reimburse the delivery fee. This leads us to believe that she does not care enough about customer service. As a business owner, she has a level of responsibility to her customers and yet she will not budge on her reimbursement. If you are looking for a florist, I would not recommend Apropos Flowers.

We just got married last week, & our wedding looked absolutely STUNNING thanks to Mimi & her team! Since the beginning with consultations & booking, Mimi is very upfront, honest & realistic but also so very kind. We decided to go with "designer's choice" & fully trusted Mimi with our vision. She knocked it out of the park, both with vision & budget. Mimi clearly communicates everything & there was nothing left that I needed to ask, add, etc. I didn't want to have my bouquet preserved, but once saw my bouquet, I regretted that decision because of how gorgeous it was! Thank you so so much to Mimi & your team, if I could get married a thousand times over, I would use you every time!

Mimi is AMAZING! From the moment you meet with her, she allows you to share your vision for your special day; then makes it happen. Her energy makes you even more excited about your big ' I Do!". The staff did an awesome job, setting up my centerpieces, and ceremony flowers. You can not beat her prices for the quality and she is such a hands on florist. Always available to talk about your ideas even after you've met with her. I will defiantly be using Apropos for Flowers again!

Mimi and the people at Apropos For Flowers were great; they were very accommodating in meeting with us at our convenience and returning our calls promptly. The centerpieces were absolutely beautiful and just how I'd imagined. However, my bouquet was supposed to be cascading and with no greenery visible. What I had imagined was not what I received. There was greenery and my cascade turned out to be white dendrobes that had not yet bloomed, so most of what trailed were green vines with buds. The flowers were also a tad (just a tad) wilted and didn't last long in the days after the wedding.
