My wedding coordinator convinced me, that rather than tackling floral myself, I should speak with this trusted and talented florist who would be able to meet my demands at a reasonable price. Arbor house was able to deliver on quality, affordability, and professionalism all while kindly addressing my MANY vision boards, mother of the bride emails, and strong opinions on hydrangeas. Joey was a delight through it all. Though I was pretty busy the day of the wedding (12/01/18), I did catch glimpses of Joey going ABOVE and BEYOND his job description to help the rest of my vendors set out decor, light candles, move chairs, and flip the venue space between ceremony and reception. Great guy, Great service, Great product!

were in great and loving hands. He understood our acetic and was able to bring it to life on our budget. His specialty is Aromatic. As a special touch he put Rosemary in each of our pieces bringing my grandmothers memory to life the whole day. He was able to create a candle that held the essence of our event and for our guest to take home with them as to keep our wedding day burning long after the night ended. Joey made us feel special from our first meeting.

The cost was high for what it was -- as I was buying 200 mums at $1/stem (each stem has 5 mums) so essentially the flowers were less than $100 and the rest he said was for labor. I live in CA so was not able and was not offered a mock up. I was told that the flowers would be pre-hung on heavy fishing wire and attached to poles which themselves would be covered in greenery. On my wedding day, Joey comes to set up and has literally never attempted this floral design! During my cocktail hour, he is in a mad dash (with his assistant and eventually my photographers and DJ (literally all hands on deck)) DUCT-TAPING fishing wire!!!! The flowers all slid to the middle of the wire, which was not heavy duty enough for the weight of the flowers and drug across the reception tables below! IT WAS HORRIBLE. My wedding planner (who recommended him called it "a pinterest fail"). I was heartbroken and had all the flowers removed in the middle of the reception!!! Joey acknowledged that the flowers were horrible-- because obviously he had never attempted the concept and he DUCT TAPPED them to the columns in the Marigny. On my wedding day, he promised to refund my money, 4 weeks later he pretends his accounts are locked and now 3 months later he has stopped responding to my emails. If I had more time myself (I am a lawyer) I would sue him myself but for now 'm waiting for a lull in work to find a NOLA attorney as I will be suing him. Honestly, it's not about the flowers anymore (although they really dampened my day and have been hard to get over) but its the principal. Arbor House Floral is deeply unprofessional and I hope this review saves someone the heartache and headache that this has brought me.

utting together floral pieces that were exactly what I envisioned. I especially loved my flower crown, which was something I was a little nervous about, but they did such a great job with it. The floral accents and arrangements around our venue were so beautiful and really added something special to the ceremony and reception. They are a great value too.

rough and they were more than happy to help me in such short notice. When I met with Joey around Christmas time we spoke budget and of course flowers. I know nothing about flowers and didn't really know what I wanted. When he came to my house to drop my bouquets off I was amazed! They couldn't have been more perfect for me and my wedding. I recommend them to everyone and for any occasion!

He delivered them to our hotel on the day of the wedding and also to the house where the men were getting ready at (the boutonnieres). My favorite thing out of all though, was the chandelier he created for the gazebo we stood in for the ceremony. He made a gorgeous, creative floral piece hanging on and around this wrought iron chandelier that fit perfectly into our New Orleans wedding. He was great!

Arbor House was happy to incorporate our family heirlooms into the arrangements (and took great care of them) and set up several different areas with ease. They created a beautiful chuppah for our ceremony and were done with time to spare. They even arranged for flowers to be sent to out of town relatives who could not attend. The arrangements were absolutely stunning. The services come at a great value. Their quote was half of the estimates we received from similar shops. I greatly enjoyed our experience with Arbor House, and highly recommend them.

ve been so far. I was nervous about booking a florist since my wedding is smaller and it won't be the big pay day I'm sure many businesses are looking for. But I spoke with Barry Stoneking and my anxiety went away. I thought my budget wouldn't allow for much imagination, but he worked with it and his vision for my centerpieces, etc. is more than I had dreamed. He listened to my ideas and what I want for the overall feel of the wedding and I could not be happier with his ideas. He immediately understood what I was going for, even when I wasn't all that great at articulating what I wanted. I obviously haven't seen the flowers, etc. yet as the wedding is a few months away, but if they're a fraction as great as they are to work with, I know I'll be happy. I highly recommend them. Update: Couldn't have been happier with the work they did! The flowers were gorgeous, the centerpieces unique, and their suggestion and execution for table cards was a hit and one of the things I was most excited about. Hire them!
