Amy and the team were absolutely fantastic. When we brought an issue to their attention, they went above and beyond to fix it. When we had to move our wedding indoors due to weather, they made the process seamless and it looked just as beautiful as it would've been outside. A special shout out to Pam who helped us manage having everyone inside and coordinating all the logistics of seating, tables, etc. Kallie was an amazing help making our dream and reality and Brittney did a fantastic job with the florals.
We don't even know how to put in to words what a great experience it was having our wedding at Arborwood! With the first complementary gathering that sealed our decision to select Shoup's for our catering needs to the actual wedding, the process was a joyful trip. Thaya was not only our wedding planner but also a friend throughout the entire journey. She handled all of our needs and guided us in the right direction for a beautiful wedding.
The venue is beautiful and we had so much fun the day of the wedding relaxing and getting ready in the wonderful accommodations. The weather was a little sketchy but it turned out to be a gorgeous day. Again, Thaya had faith that we would be able to have the wedding outside so we could enjoy the beautiful gardens and we know our pictures will be outstanding with the wonderful landscaping as the backdrop.
We have gotten many compliments on the wedding and how lovely the venue was. We will certainly recommend Arborwood to others in the future. Thank you for making our day memorable!

Arborwood by Shoup’s features a contemporary design blended with vintage elements, for an overall timeless look. The venue began as a country club in the 1920s and was renovated in 2012 as an event hall. Inside, the cathedral ceilings, stone fireplaces, and stylish design details help to make wedding celebrations more memorable. Outside, string lights can be hung to illuminate a grassy dance floor and create a romantic atmosphere. This property offers a picture-worthy backdrop for events.
Arborwood by Shoup’s can be used for weddings with as little as 25 attendees, as well as celebrations with up to 300 guests. Available event spaces include the Poppy Room, the Country Porch, the Creekside Bar, and more. The venue’s gardens can also be used as the setting for milestone moments. With an arbor, fountains, and classic white fencing, it is a charming place for couples to celebrate their love with family and friends. For the special pair’s convenience, dressing rooms are available. The staff is eager to see every wedding become a successful and memorable occasion. They devote themselves to ensuring each detail falls into place as planned. The venue's team can also take care of the catering through Shoup's Catering & Events, along with the bar services and dessert. Rentals may be provided as well, such as linens, goblets, chargers, and more. To complete the space’s ambience, the team, through The Floral Barn by Shoup's, is able to craft floral arrangements that complement the couple's vision. This venue is both elegant and versatile, allowing soon-to-be-weds to create the wedding of their dreams.

Located across from the Arborwood grounds, the Frankfort Commons Golf Course provides 18 holes of perfectly manicured greens for the best rounds of golf in Clinton County. The course offers the perfect setting for Bachelor Parties or Groom Games the morning of, and the FoxDen Bar & Grill provides delicious food perfect for day-of lunches, snack foods and more.
