I’m really not one to write a bad review.
However this place has really earned it!
If I could rate this lower I would.
My aunt got married here this weekend and the venue itself i...
s beautiful.
But the woman who runs it (I want to say Betsy?) was so horrible to deal with.
She was incredibly rude when we interacted, and condescending.
She overall was just not very friendly, and when we did the run through she acted like she didn’t want to be there.
Then the day of the wedding she screamed at multiple guests & while we were taking photos on the carpet that was rolled out she was rolling it up under our feet.
In addition to her just not at all being a good host, now she has blocked our numbers about getting our deposit back.
The venue is beautiful but to deal with her is not something I’d encourage.
Horrible way to run a small business imo.
Good luck!!
This venue was called Elegant Events and Weddings LLC now. Do not book your wedding here. We originally booked with Joan and she sold it. Mandi was the wedding manager and she was ...
really nice. We met Brooklyn and the first time we met her she told us that she had never done weddings before. She didn’t know where anything was and was so unorganized. We asked for our money back and they only returned a portion of it. There are so many more venues that are worth your money. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!
My bride and I cannot say enough good things about Arbuckle Wedding Chapel and Mandi. We were so frustrated by trying to find a solid venue that we were about to elope. Mandi made ...
the process insanely easy and thought of everything we didn’t. The venue is beautiful, affordable, and full of dedicated staff. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t be more thankful to Mandi and the team.
As the mother of the bride, I wanted to give my only daughter her dream wedding, but needed to do so on a budget. We chose Arbuckle Wedding Chapel in Davis, Oklahoma and are so gl...
ad we did. This full-service venue is beautiful and has a very charming, little chapel in the woods feel, while still being conveniently located near I-35. The wedding and reception were both held onsite and the day was absolutely perfect in every way. Joan, the owner and wedding coordinator, was invaluable throughout the entire process and thought of every single detail. She responded quickly to answer our questions in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding and most importantly, she treated us like family. Almost everything we needed was included in the package and many fun add-ons were available to choose from, so this was one stop shopping for us. (get the photo booth!) We had no stress, no clean up and it was affordable! The day was fun, relaxing and memorable from beginning to end. If you are located anywhere in the North Texas or Southern Oklahoma area, do yourself a favor and don’t book a wedding venue without checking out this one first! Thank you, Bob and Joan Bratcher, for your professionalism and desire to make every bride’s dream come true!
I had a fantastic time working with Joan! She kept me involved enough to truly get the look and feel I was going for (I planned my wedding from afar) and also used her expertise an...
d creativity to help out with the things I had not imagined or planned on. As far as the value goes, this all-inclusive event center is worth every penny. From the rehearsal to the set-up & breakdown, Joan keep everything timely, coordinated, and (best of all) stress-free! I highly recommend if you're needing a place that is all-inclusive and affordable. The only issue is the actual location is a little for/ construction on 1-35 can be very inconvenient; however, once there, Davis & Sulphur is very accommodating for guests from both Oklahoma & Texas.
I got married here on July 22, 2016 and it was the absolute best decision we could have made. I called Joan on Monday and we were wed that Friday! We wanted something quick, simple...
, but memorable. And that's exactly what we got! The elopement package is what we did and even without a single flower for decoration, the chapel is beautiful in itself enough for you to be awed. We couldn't have been any happier. Joan was the best. I wouldn't trade that day for the world. I 100% recommend it.
Joan at Arbuckle Wedding Chapel was amazing. The reception room was decorated beautifully, and she was a joy to work with. I would recommend Arbuckle Wedding Chapel to anyone.
When my husband and I decided we wanted to get married we quickly had to determine what was important. A quick elopement in order to save money or a fancy wedding that broke our bu...
dget. Arbuckle wedding chapel gave us the elegant, fancy wedding I desired without breaking our budget. Every little detail was carefully done with style. Our guests were completely shocked when they walked into the venue. Joan and her husband made us feel like family. Every thing went off perfectly! We have already decided to have our anniversary nuptials there. It was a dream come true!!! Thanks Joan!!
The Arbuckle Wedding Chapel was the perfect wedding venue for us because we were on a tight budget but also did not have the time/interest in planning every little detail. Joan did...
an amazing job of coordinating everything for us from the decor to the reception to the tuxes. It was so relieving to have such a trustworthy and reliable person taking care of everything. She always responded to our emails/phone calls quickly and gave us everything we asked for. If we had wanted to customize things more, she would have been great with that, too. I really appreciated how she managed our expectations and made sure we knew what to expect at every step along the way.
She even drove up to Norman from Davis to help me pick out and order programs for the ceremony.
She, her husband, and her staff did a great job on the wedding day, too. We had a few hiccups but it was comforting knowing that they were in charge and knew exactly what to do at all times to help smooth over those issues. The tuxes didn't fit very well so her husband was kind enough to drive to OKC the night before the wedding to pick up new ones. They never seemed to stress, always being the calming presence in the room. The food was delicious and the bar setup was perfect for our needs - inexpensive and fun.
We also loved the location because it was close enough to Norman/OKC that our wedding weekend had a bit of a "destination feel" while still being within a comfortable driving distance for our friends and family.
We so appreciated not having to worry about anything about our big day. I can't say enough great things about Arbuckle Wedding Chapel - I would recommend anyone have their wedding there.
Joan and her team at Arbuckle Wedding Chapel are amazing. She was always easy to get a hold of and even helped me get a hold of other vendors when I couldn't. The great thing about...
this chapel is that she handles all decorations (unless you want to add some), directs the rehearsal based on what you told her previously and orders the tuxes and returns them! Her husband is also fantastic with the ceremony and reception music and slideshow. Joan is such a pleasure to work with and we owe our perfect wedding to her.
I couldn't be happier with the service of the Arbuckle Wedding Chapel. Joan is an amazing woman to work with. She will do everything in her power to make your wedding dreams a real...
ity. The chapel is beautiful and our ceremony was flawless. To anyone thinking about using them for a wedding I say GO FOR IT! There was absolutely nothing I wasn't happy about. The Arbuckle Wedding Chapel made my dream wedding happen. The staff was great as well.
Joan at the Arbuckle Wedding Capel is awesome! She is worth every penny spent, which by the way was very reasonable for eveything she does for you. My daughter and I were a littl...
e hesitant to just leave all the decorating to Joan, we're both a little controling, but when we showed up for the wedding, she had arranged it exactly the way we would have. She listens to you and makes your dream wedding come true and she is the most pleasant person and a true joy to work with!
This place was truly amazing! I did something like a rustic/southern wedding. my girls were teal, lace dresses with corral boots and the guys were hot pink button up shirts with je...
ans and boots! it turned out so cute.. they decorated the place with those colors and some burlap too! The sweetest lady and her husband run this chapel! It's a really beautiful place! If you're not wanting something too extravagant but something cute. This is perfect! I had people tell me this was the most beautiful/fun wedding they had been too!! It's also really good if you are wanting a stress free planned wedding. I wanted to remember planning my wedding as something memorable not stressful and this was just this key! They do everything for you including decorating, according to your colors, food, DJ, and everything else imaginable! They have every color you can imagine to match your needs and even if you don't like their decorations, you can take out or keep whatever you like! They will definitely work with you. You can make your wedding super simple or super crazy at the same time! And that's what I loved about this place. They have so much to offer and a lot of fun ideas! The only thing I had to worry about was finding my dress and the dresses for my girls! My wedding was so much fun! I couldn't complain about one thing. Oh and they even clean up everything for you and have all of your things gathered ready to go so you have no worries! They were so easy to work with. I would text the lady any time of the day, weekends it didn't matter she would always answer and help me! And always very sweet! I would definitely recommend this place and do it all over again! It's the worth the money.
I highly recommend this chapel to anyone. The owner is the loveliest and most helpful hostess you could ask for. She made every thing so easy for me. Our wedding was absolutely ...
beautiful and I wouldn't have chosen anywhere else.

oan, we were treated like ours was the only wedding being planned. She was gracious every time I called with a question. She guided us through all of the decisions, giving us suggestions and being open to all of our ideas.
The chapel, with its staircase and magnificent window, was breathtaking. The reception hall was fabulous with lots of room for dancing and plenty of ambiance. The food was delicious. And the cost was well within our budget.
It was a pleasure working with Joan and Bob. I didn't have to do anything but enjoy my daughter's special day.

s so helpful and guided us through the entire experience. The chapel was beautiful and the reception area was lovely. We were so happy with the way everything turned out! We had such a good time with our family and friends. Joan and her husband were great hosts and really made the reception fun for all of us. We have wonderful memories of our wedding and beautiful pictures to remind us of our special day.

ked at this venue online, watched the video and just KNEW this was where we wanted to get married.... So we booked it before even seeing the place in person! When we finally looked at it, it was exactly how the video made it out to be! Joan gave us a tour and then we started planning! She was VERY helpful!!! We picked out invitations, napkins, colors, etc. I recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!!! You can't beat the price, the service and the atmosphere!!! Needless to say... Our big day was PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!
This chapel is absolutely gorgeous and the owners are amazing! I got help with everything I needed, they took care of almost everything, and it made the whole experience wonderful....
They are great about communicating with you and answered any questions I had. I will reccommend them to everyone I know getting married and can not wait to see all the beautiful pictures!!
