Acadia at Edgewood is an historic (circa 1801) wedding venue located near Orange, Virginia. Hidden in the rolling hills of Madison County, the property rests on 450 acres of beautiful pastures and woodlands. Views of the Blue Ridge Mountains serve as a backdrop for the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Facilities and Capacity Arcadia at Edgewood boasts ample amenities for a comfortable and lavish wedding day. Couples and their parties may arrive on the morning of the big day and prepare in the on-site dressing suites and relax in the family lounge. The beautifully manicured lawn in front of the manor house is ideal for outdoor ceremonies as is the Ceremony Garden surrounded by boxwood hedges and white drift roses. For the reception, a beautiful climate-controlled barn that dates back to the 1800s is outfitted with glistening chandeliers and string lights that evoke a rustic elegance. This versatile space can accommodate up to 150 seated guests for formal dining, dancing, etc. In addition, there are two covered, open-sided pavilions that create multiple all-weather options for your big day. Services Offered Arcadia at Edgewood offers four all-inclusive wedding packages that include a one-day rental or a full weekend rental. The one-day rental covers up to 14 hours, with an additional time slot allowed for photos. Staff will set up dining tables and chairs in the layout of your choosing, as well as the chairs for the ceremony. Additional services such as shuttle golf carts with drivers and luxury restrooms are also provided.
