A string quartet definitely adds some class and flair to your wedding day. Working with Nicole on song choices and a specal request for the groom was a dream. They sound amazing. I only regret we didn't get to enjoy every song as we were busy with family photos and signing the marriage certificate.
Nicole & Arcobaleno Strings were exactly what we were hoping for. We had envisioned a string quartet to play our ceremony and cocktail hour at our garden wedding, and they certainly delivered. Their music sounded incredible, prices were reasonable, they have a HUGE catalog of songs to choose from, and they were able to accommodate our request for a specific processional song and timed it well. Nicole was easy to communicate with in the weeks/months leading up to the wedding and answered all questions I had promptly. I would highly recommend!
The string quartet from Arcobaleno Strings was amazing. Having a string quartet for the ceremony provided the romantic, fairytale feel we wanted for our daughters wedding. They were extremely professional and did such an amazing job. We could not have been more pleased with them!
Nicole and the quartet were such an incredible addition to our wedding ceremony! They did a custom song for our walk down the aisle and it was perfect. It was our wedding song and we both cried when I heard how beautifully they played it. Our only regret is not booking them for cocktail hour as well. They played as guests arrived and everyone said they felt like they were on the set of Bridgerton! Such a wide range of song choices in their catalog and it was so fun picking out the songs our guest would hear. Nicole was fanatic in the communication department and we had everything squared away long before our wedding which was so nice to not scramble the last week of with emails. We requested an all female quartet and the delivered that effortlessly!

She was very communicative, and her process for helping us determine what music (genres, as well as specific pieces) to play worked quite well. Nicole has an incredible team of musicians. Our musicians (Gretchen & Janet) arrived early, came prepared, and worked very well with our VOWS planner.. They are unique in their skill for helping you to identify a musical style preference and narrowing the song choices to match. And if you want someone to play cool tunes at your wedding reception - Arcobaleno Strings did an amazing job playing Mad World by Tears for Fears. Such at talented group of musicians and I highly recommend them.
I used an Arcobaleno cello and violin duet for my winter wedding ceremony. Working with Nicole was so easy. She knew all of the songs I wanted and the music was lovely. I even had guests arrive 20 minutes earlier than I predicted and they started playing prelude music which eased my nerves significantly.
They are pros - I'd choose them again, hands down.
Acrobaleno Strings played at my wedding in August. We had Nicole and Maggie playing violin and cello for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They are a great group to work with: they arrived on the day of early, they accommodated our music requests, and sounded wonderful.
Acrobaleno Strings were simply elegant! We hired them as a duo for our wedding ceremony and the reception as we were having a brunch wedding. Nicole was amazing to work with, responsive, provided great advice and meeting her prior to sample the music in person put our mind at ease that we made the best choice. I will refer her to anyone looking for live music and really passionate musicians.
Arcobaleno Strings did a fantastic job at my 8/29/2015 wedding!! The day was CRAZY due to a freak summer storm that forced our ceremony inside, meaning there was not a great space for them to set up but they made it work wonderfully and were very professional. Music was beautiful and made the indoor ceremony feel extremely classy and intimate. Highly recommend!
We had an outdoor wedding ceremony by the water and Arcobaleno Strings did a fabulous job!!! They played for our ceremony and cocktail hour. It was nice knowing that out of all the things to worry about for that day- they were not one of them. They were on time, looked great and worked out logistics with such grace and most importantly they sounded amazing. The music was flawless! They made picking the music so easy- definately brought my dreams to life.
We used Acrobaleno Strings for our ceremony 3 weeks ago, and they did a great job. We had a quartet (3 strings and 1 flute) and it was beautiful. They also arranged a special piece for when I walked down the aisle, and it was everything my husband and I hoped it would be. They are very professional and have great communication. Highly recommend!

Ours was a church wedding. The church pianist is a friend and had agreed to play for us, but we also love strings, so we asked Nicole if she'd be willing to bring a violinist and work with our pianist. She was very accommodating. I would say that Nicole and Catherine met all the ground rules for flexibility and musicianship working with our pianist, who was in the midst of preparing for a cross-country move and a bit rattled.
We loved having advance recordings of the pieces to listen to when we made our selections. And we were very happy.
I hired the duel talents of Arcobaleno Strings cellist and violinist for my wedding. These two women played beautiful music! My friends are still asking me who the musicians were! This duo played very classy and elegant music and helped make my special day perfect!
I contacted Nicole approximately 12 months before our wedding. I was pretty sure I wanted some sort of string trio/quartet for my ceremony and cocktail hour.... but beyond that I was pretty clueless. First, Nicole was willing to book me in and then she began communicating with me about what the options were even though the wedding was a year out!
The trio played for the ceremony and then for the hour at the cocktail reception. It was just beautiful. I had so many guests come up to me during the wedding and afterward to tell me what a touch of class the strings were and beautifully they played.
The group was extremely professional. You should have the utmost confidence in Arcobaleno Strings should you opt to hire them for your event.
I absolutely love the sound of strings and knew I wanted them at my wedding. I found Nicole online contacted her and she let me know what info she needed. She gave a list of songs to choose from. Easy to work with! I'm not sure we even met in person! ;) I also thought her prices were very reasonable and it was nice to have a choice of musical instruments.
After much research, we decided to hire the Arcobaleno Strings trio play during our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were very professional and responsive throughout the "planning phase" of my wedding and worked with our officiant the day-of to get the timing of the music played during the ceremony correct. The quality of the sound was beyond our expectations.....the music we chose filled the large room during our ceremony as well as carried nicely outdoors during our cocktail hour on the Newcastle patio as the sun was setting. They definitely added class to our wedding! Thank you, Arcobaleno Strings for being a part of our special day!
Nicole was wonderful and so easy to work with. All our guest went on and on about how beautiful the music was! When we renew our vows in 5 years we will be calling her again. Thank you so much for adding your beautiful talent to our special day.
I used Nicole and one of her students for a duo cello for our wedding and were very happy with them.. They arrived early, provided a mic (for a small fee) for our officiant, and played a variety of classical and modern music for about 2 hours. We had them play a beatle's song that i found online - they found the sheet music and had practiced it. Loved it. They even played the theme song to married with children during the cocktail hour - though, the bride wasn't as amused as i was about that one :)
Ms. Williams provided cello music for our wedding ceremony on July 9th 2011. I found Arcobaleno Strings through The Knot where she was highly recommended by others. We were very pleased that we hired her to play at our wedding! Having the cello play during the ceremony adds that extra special touch of elegance that we wanted. Many of our guests remarked at how the cello really enhanced the mood and feeling of the ceremony.
We couldn't have been happier and I would definitely recommend to all who are planning a wedding to hire Nicole to provide music.
We picked Nicole and her team last minute since we were not sure what type of ceremony music we wanted. She was kind enough to help us through the music process and guide us during the processionals. They are timely, and provided such a calm sound for our day.

all of our guests went on and on about what a wonderful touch it was to have stringed instruments at the ceremony, and how beautiful the music was. we went with a cello and violin and could not have been happier. the music was beautiful and the musicians arrived early, and despite my (the bride's) delay in arriving, continued playing as if nothing were off schedule. i have already recommended them to an engaged friend for her ceremony and would absolutely recommend them again and again!
They were fabulous - no stress, no worries. I had no knowledge of wedding music so it was helpful to get suggestions, be able to hear what they'd sound like ahead of time. Super-professional and insightful as to what works best for the processional, candle-lighting, recessional, etc.
