Working with Ardent prior to the wedding was seamless. They provided us with our initial Wedding Day Timeline to build from. They were very responsive and very easy going when it c...
ame to any change in plans . They provided valuable input when asked and were accommodating to the schedules of our other vendors.
On the day of the wedding, nothing felt posed, nothing felt forced, and they captured every natural laugh, tear, smile, and special moment throughout the day organically. They were such a fun couple with a great sense of humor and a pleasure to be around - which made smiling and laughing come naturally.
It wasn’t until after the wedding day rush, we realized JUST HOW RELIANT we would become on our photos. The day flew by and, for the next couple weeks, we replayed it over and over in our heads. It wasn’t until we got our photos back, which turned out more beautiful than we expected or even remembered, that we realized all the small details we missed throughout the day - but of course, Ardent captured! :)
While our wedding memories are fresh in our heads now, we know the details will blur after time. This alone makes us SO grateful for Rick & Stephanie and the time, effort, and passion they put into their artwork! You two are an amazingly talented team, brilliant at what you do, and because of you we’ll be able to relive our special day for many years to come!
Ardent was, by far, the best investment we made on our wedding day!
I cannot express enough how much my husband and I loved having Rick and Stephanie be a part of our wedding day! They really know what they are doing. We had our wedding at an unus...
ual location - Coors Field - and they took it on day of without skipping a beat! They got my family and friends into picture perfect position quickly (no easy task) and then found the absolute best locations and positions for my husband and I to have perfect memories of our day. I genuinely cannot pick a favorite, I love all of the photos! Not to mention - outside of their hard work - they are incredibly kind and fun people. Having our picture taken can be very uncomfortable, but with them it wasn't at all! I will recommend them to everyone I can!
I am in awe of how amazing my experiences have been with Rick and Stephanie. There are almost too many reasons why I love them.
1) They are the most friendly and down to earth peo...
ple. I got along with them so well and Rick and my fiance/husband hit it off so quickly -- making the picture-taking process much less cumbersome for my fiance/husband to navigate.
2) Flexible -- these two were so easy going and ran with the punches. We had a hiccup with our scheduled engagement shoot time and they were easy to switch their appts to accommodate. Our wedding was not your typical day and with all the madness and running around, Rick and Stephanie stayed collected and still turned out a beautiful product.
3) Style - I love the moments these two capture. They took time to understand our personalities and knew exactly when to snap a photo that would capture our true selves.
4) Price - although photography is pricey, I appreciate the amount of edited photos Ardent makes available to you. You aren't required to purchase individual photos from them and they send a personalized USB as a backup to the online album you have access to.
Rick is funny and willing to roll around in the dirt for the perfect shot, while Stephanie is an amazing planner and a calm ear to listen to your thoughts and ideas. I've gone to this team twice for shoots and will continue to use them and make special trips back to Wyoming to make it happen.
I cannot say enough great things about Rick and Stephanie Osborne. The two did our engagement photos. They were so professional and the pictures turned out so incredibly beautiful....
I told them what I imagined and they made it a reality. It was special to have the two of them taking photographs at the same time because they each took great photos and contributed their own special touch. I would recommend the two of them time and time again.
Rick and Steph are the absolute best. They work hard to capture your day so you don't have a worry in the world! I would recommend them to anyone. The best money I spent was on the...

Rick and Stephanie were a delight to work with. They knew what they were doing without being dictatorial as some photographers can be. The engagement pictures and wedding pictures ...
came out beautifully. Some photos were candid and some were more formal. The memories of that day were preserved to perfection. Having had trying experiences with photographers in the past, I can highly recommend this team without reservation. I would certainly use them again.
Ardent Photography does absolutely great work! their pictures are stunning and you will treasure them for a life time, but they are pricey. If you're willing to spend three grand o...

nd above all - the pictures turned out fantastic!! We loved that they captured little moments that we didn't even know they were around for - such as when the groom's father stole a dance with me. I highly recommend this duo!
these two are great photographers and great people. they have a cool unique way of capturing your special day. no cookie cutters here!

nother great thing about them is that you get two photographers which gives you two different perspectives.
Stephanie and Rick did a great job! They took the time to really personalize our wedding photography. Each time they were with us, it seemed as if we were their only clients ever...
. They are professional, kind, and take BEAUTIFUL photos!
Two months following our wedding, Stephanie informed us that, “due to a memory card malfunction,” a large majority of our photographs were lost. Despite her contract saying otherwi...
se, she refused to refund our money AND blocked access to the website containing our surviving pictures. I was forced to take her to court. I easily won the lawsuit and the judge ordered a full refund. Today, more than four years after the verdict, Stephanie has continued to ignore the judge’s ruling and has refused to provide us with our money.
I realize that Ardent Photography might have some good reviews. And, honestly, the portion of our pictures that we finally did get were of high quality. HOWEVER, do you really want to take a chance on your wedding day? As for my wife and I, we HIGHLY SUGGEST you chose another photographer. Please don’t make the same regrettable decision we did.
Rick and Stephanie took both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. I cannot express how happy I am with their professional and creative style and the photos that they captu...
red! They are a husband-wife team that work beautifully together and really contribute to make your day as special as it can be! All of our memories were exquisitely captured - from getting ready (Stephanie photographs the girls and Rick photographs the guys!), to the ceremony, to the reception. They really offer a great mix of traditional and creative photographs that creates a story of your day that you will be able to look back on for years and years!!! They certainly have my highest recommendation.
Rick and Steph are amazing to work with. They make you feel at ease in front of the camera and are so fun. They are up for any idea that is brought up to them and will do whatever ...
they can to make it happen. I look at my photographs every day because they capture the love between my husband and I. I couldn't have asked for better photographers. These 2 are a must for anyone's wedding!!!
Ardent photography is amazing. I don't need to tell you that though, just look at their pictures! Their talent, creativity, and love come through in every picture they take. What t...
he pictures don't tell you though is how incredible it is to experience being around them while they work. They are completely devoted to their clients, and are willing to try new things, be creative, and do whatever they can to capture the love you want to portray. They are great at making you feel comfortable, so much that you feel like you're just hanging out with some extremely fun friends, and its kinda pretty tragic when you have to say goodbye.
I was referred to them by a woman who said hiring them was the best choice I could make for our wedding, and it couldn't have been more true.

the Extremely grateful "pre-wife".
When you look at a picture taken by Rick or Steph from Ardent Photography, you don't just see a bride, a happy couple, or a family—you see a story. That's what drew me and my new h...
usband, Gus, to have Ardent Photography tell OUR story when we were married on 10/10/10. Because Rick & Steph have such a passion for what they do, they capture so much more than faces, places and details… they capture emotion. They understand that weddings, family photos and portraits aren't just about holding the camera just right, nailing the perfect lighting and being in the right place at the right time; they're utterly in tune with the emotional undercurrent of every event, and their photos show it.
I love that every single shot captures a feeling and makes you feel like you're SEEING the moment, rather than just a picture of it. Putting the responsibility of telling the visual story for one of the biggest days of your life into someone else's hands is scary—but when my husband and I met Rick and Steph, our worries vanished. Within 15 minutes of meeting them & seeing their excitement about their work and genuine love for photography, we had no doubt that our big day would be more than safe in their hands... and now, with our wedding pictures in hand, we couldn't be more thankful we chose this talented couple to be our wedding photographers.
Both Steph and Rick were wonderful to work with. They were lots of fun and professional. We wanted a photo journalistic style of images that would pop. They did a great job of c...
apturing little aspects and wide images. We got some amazing images back and rather quickly too. Having two photographers was also great because they could catch the same moment from two different angles. They were very easy to work with and I fully recommend them.
