ve a built-in backup plan! Sure enough, it rained through almost our entire reception, but we were able to still be outside and under cover in the arena, where we ended up doing everything from the ceremony to dinner to dancing. We wish we could have used the venue as originally planned (with the ceremony under the beautiful oak tree and dancing on the patio in front of the new outdoor fireplace) but I was so happy to not have to move things completely inside, which we would have had to do at other venues.
On top of that, Julia and her husband were great to work with throughout the whole process, they provided and offered a lot of what we needed from tables and chairs to decor, the bridal suite and groom’s suite were wonderful comfortable places to get ready, and the horses added just the right fairytale touch.
