Based in Milwaukee, WI, Ari Rosenthal Photography specializes in wedding photography. They are available for destination weddings and this studio also offers high-quality services for couples with most budgets. Ari's team is dedicated to helping couples enjoy this momentous occasion, and providing them with everlasting memories. Founded in 2004 by the owner Ari Rosenthal, this company has eight experienced photographers for couples to choose from. Before couples decide to book with Ari and his team, they are encouraged to meet with their preferred photographer. Here they will meet with Ari or the photographer they wish to work with and discuss their needs and vision for the day. Couples will also be shown examples of the studio’s previous work, so they know what they can expect. This team understands how important a photographer is to a wedding, and wants to make sure that they are a suitable fit for their clients’ dream. The team shares a style that is a mix of photojournalism and portraiture. This allows them to capture a wide variety of shots for the wedding couple to select from. Couples can expect artistic portraits of the wedding party, as well as candid shots showing the emotion and excitement of the occasion. Some members of the team also like to mix it up by adding a splash of fashion photography to showcase the wedding ensembles. These photographers work exclusively with digital equipment to provide unlimited images and ensure that they can capture each special moment of the occasion. Couples can request a second photographer to assist throughout the day. This studio provides reprint rights to their clients, allowing them to view and select their favorite images before printing. Couples can expect to have a complete gallery of images on flash drive or via high speed download within three weeks of their wedding. This studio can also offer prints and create a wedding album.

t of probably ten emails I sent in my search for a photographer. His prices are very competitive and easy to understand. He has several photographers you can choose from - we selected Mouna. She was an absolute dream. We met with her via Zoom twice before our big day, to make sure we were all on the same page. She put our mind at ease from the start. On the wedding day, she arrived early to scout out the area ( we got married at a park) and she ended up finding an amazing little pond down the road that we snuck away to for bride/groom photos. Those photos are my absolute favorite! Mouna went above and beyond to make conditions and background for our photos perfect. She was so good at directing everyone where to go: who was in the next picture, and who was out- making the family portraits and wedding party pictures go extremely smooth and quick. He made sure that in every photo all of the women were holding their flowers in the same direction and that the men all had their jackets either buttoned or opened. He made sure that everything that would annoy us later was fixed before the shot was taken. Chris sent us sneak peek photos fairly quickly and then our entire portfolio was sent to us within two weeks. We very very happy with our choice of photographer!

We talked a week before (he was so awesome about following up) so I could give him the run down for that weekend and the situation. My parents are divorced so I let him know the situation and what to expect and he was incredible. So many different personalities to work with (even the bridesmaids were a handful), and I was a bit much that day because it was so hot outside and I had bugs up my dress but he definitely knew what he was doing.
The pictures came out so beautiful and I am so glad I listened and didn’t let the potential bridezilla completely come out. he was incredibly friendly and kept everyone at ease throughout the day. Also, she worked with our shuttle driver to coordinate locations and off-site stops for pictures, without me having to do or say anything - which was a HUGE relief. Her suggestions for off-site bridal party pictures were spot on and 100% in line with the vibe my husband and I were looking for, and completely original and unique. She's a very talented photographer and we were very pleased with our pictures.
The only negatives I could say are that some of the pictures weren't level and especially for the indoor shots with the church alter and steps behind us, was fairly obvious the image was lopsided - HOWEVER, she wasn't working with a tripod for those and pictures are easily edited, so I definitely don't see it as a big deal at all.
Our shots were creative and unique to our personalities and far from generic - which we love!
Working with Ari for the administrative parts was also very smooth and easy. We were really happy with the response turnaround times, as well as how quickly we got our pictures after the wedding.
Overall a really fantastic experience and I'd highly recommend!

My husband is a greater introvert than I am and it's hard to get him to open up to strangers. My husband and I noticed right away how easy it was to speak with Art, and how Art got my husband to open up fairly easily! ss town, searching for parking, etc.). If you are looking for someone to shoot a very, very low key event or a wedding without many moving parts or complications, working with him will probably work. Anything higher stress than that I would recommend working with someone else.
Before the event, Chris seemed meticulous. He met with us twice and asked detailed questions about our family trees, and we explained who the really important guests were, aka the guests we wanted lots of photos with.
Looking at the pics, it seems like Chris either didn't hear the majority of our requests or he heard them and was too overwhelmed to handle them.
During our meetings he stressed a few really important photos, like one with the groom's parents and the bride and groom, one with the bride's parents, photos of the elderly relatives whose presence we'd really want to cherish...also his personal favorite of the bridesmaids all looking one way and the bride, in focus, looking at the camera. Somehow, he failed at nearly all of those photos, either not snapping quality pics of relatives, or delivering versions of the photos that were just unusable. And those were the ones he was passionate about.
