Throughout the process, Arielle was very responsive (if anything, I was failing at being prompt in my answers) and was very understanding of our seemingly crunched timeline and endless family portraits (we had way over her recommended amount). Our day was cold, windy, rainy, and gloomy but Arielle made it work and she assured us that the pictures would turn out amazing and she was not lying. When we received our pictures we were just floored. The images she was able to produce and the moments that were captured were stunning. We just sat there in awe of her talent reliving one of the most important days of our lives looking at moments that we ourselves even forgot about in the blur of it all. We are grateful for Arielle and Nathan and cannot express how much we appreciate their work. We recommend them to anyone looking to capture this special day, amazing little moments in such a unique and beautiful way.

umerous photographers online, I was immediately drawn to the emotion that Arielle captured in her photographs and every single photo was simply beautiful. Everything seemed so natural and yet gorgeous and artistic at the same time. Also, since we were getting married on a beach and everything was going to be outdoors, we needed someone who was confident working with natural light from the photos on her website. She did our engagement photos as well, which we also took on the beach, and we loved them. The day of the wedding, both Arielle and Nathan were fabulous to work with, very professional, and I was also amazed at how quickly we got through the formal photos after the ceremony. Arielle's ability to get a great photo of everyone with only 1-2 shots was unbelievable. And finally, we were stunned, in the best way possible, when we got our photos back. We love them - the emotion, the lighting, the photos on the beach of the two of us just before sunset, - every photo is beautiful. Her style is also incredibly unique, which is something we didn't see with other photographers when we were trying to choose a photographer and I couldn't be happier with our photos.

ew then that if I were to get married that she was the photographer I wanted; her aesthetic is a mix of dreamy and cinematic and is exactly what I wanted. I also loved that she wasn't too focused on the typical set-up shots you see, but was more interested in candids and truly capturing the day. Unfortunately, when I finally got engaged and we decided on a date and location, Arielle was already booked. But, as our luck turned out, within a week of my reaching out and learning she was booked, Arielle reached out again saying she was now available for my date. Call it what you will, but I think it was serendipity. We hired Arielle after a phone call and I cannot stress enough how wonderful she was to work with. She was in contact with us leading up to the wedding, was responsive to answering any and all of my questions (and in a timely manner), and offered to help with the day of timeline. She also put up with and even encouraged some of my ideas and requests, which I personally appreciated. When the big day finally came, she and Nathan were an absolute delight to work with and everyone from my parents (who are notoriously hard to please) to the bridal party to guests commented on how great they were. They made sure we were where we needed to be (as well as the rest of our family and bridal party) and were unobtrusive with getting shots throughout the day. Now that we've received our photos, I am in complete awe at how wonderful our day (and the photos!) turned out. The pictures truly tell the story of our day and I just cannot get over how wonderful everyone looks and I love that they caught some moments I had already forgotten about or didn't realize had happened. I cannot emphasize enough how great Arielle and Nathan are and wish we could get married again and again if only to work with them and get more fantastic photos! I've had numerous people comment that these are the best wedding photos they've seen and I cannot say enough good things about Arielle and Nathan. Do yourself a favor and hire Arielle for your wedding! I promise you will not regret it.

She completely understood our vision and communicated consistently leading up to the wedding day. Arielle and Nathan arrived the afternoon before the wedding, we were able to walk through the shot list and pick out locations to shoot. The day of they were incredibly professional...the wedding was in the evening and they started capturing the day around 11 a.m. and shot well into the reception. I just received the edited photos and I am in total and utter awe! I am so happy we went with Arielle to capture our wedding day and I would book her a thousand times over if I could. of Arielle’s and Nathan’s photos I fell in love with the way they took photos and how they looked. It just felt natural in a sense. They also have a true Midwestern work ethic. As an example, we went to a site in Chicago - the honeycomb which is a beautiful spot. In order to get the perfect picture Nathan took out all the chairs (there were 50+ chairs) that were in the honeycomb and put them back after we were done. This is small - but really shows the length they were willing to go to make sure that the picture was right. We couldn’t be more pleased with how the pictures turned out. Some of the pictures at the Rookery (Chicago building) were incredible and the way they were able to capture some of the minor nuances. They are an amazing team.

We took photos in several indoor and outdoor locations and they captured beautiful photos in each spot. I talked on the phone with Arielle twice before meeting her on my wedding day, but I wasn't nervous at all. She provided the guidance we needed as newbies. I knew I would be in good hands and would have nothing to worry about. Arielle and Nathan are true professionals and artists. Their calm demeanor made my husband and I feel immediately at ease and comfortable during our first look. I truly enjoyed the day from start to finish and I know a big part of that is because of Arielle and Nathan. They were able to capture all the details, the mood and feel of our wedding . The price is more than fair - especially considering the number of photos and quality you get. When we first met her for the engagement photo shoot, in Grand Rapids, we realized that we had picked the perfect photographer. She made us feel comfortable and even my husband, who is super uncomfortable in front of the camera, enjoyed the shoot and the pictures she took. The day of the wedding, Arielle and her husband were on time and started taking pictures right away. The two of them were super easy to deal with and were like friends at our wedding. They got the best shots without being in the way of our guests or bothering anyone. They had great ideas for the location of our wedding portraits and were so much fun to work with. When I now look at the pictures, I can feel my wedding day again. The two of them were able to capture our emotions and created truly artistic & beautiful wedding pictures. They picked up on all the little details of our wedding and captured them beautifully. Many of our guests took the time to tell us that our wedding pictures were beautiful and looked like they were straight out of a Bridal Magazine. I would recommend the two of them to ANYONE and would rebook them without hesitation. We feel so lucky to have found them and are so grateful for the work they did.

Her pictures were exactly what we were looking for. She has such a vision for what she does - when showing the photos to my coworkers, one remarked that "not many photographers are able to capture both formal and casual shots, and to do so well at it." I could not agree more. Aside from the amazing quality of work she produces (which I could go on and on about - just look at her website and you'll see what I mean) I also want to say that she was just generally amazing to work with. We really wanted someone that we could trust to do a good job without a lot of prompting or directing from us. Arielle handled this perfectly. She and Nathan found some really beautiful places at our wedding location to take pictures at and made some great suggestions that we hadn't really thought of during the wedding planning. And that's the thing - there are so many things to worry about on your big day, and your photographer should not be one of them. also, her prices are EXTREMELY competitive. Every other photographer I looked at charged extra for a second shooter or for the length of time that Arielle ended up being there with us. For what you get, her pricing is truly unbeatable. Could not recommend her highly enough!

nch so I was torn between the moody/dramatic shots of ATP and the light & airy of some others. I shared these concerns with her and she did a great job of giving me both (even while staying true to her style)! ATP captured all of the important "moments" and blended in perfectly with our guests. During the ceremony & reception, I feel like I never saw them! We've been to some weddings where the photographers are obnoxiously "in your face"... Arielle & Nathan were the exact opposite. ATP let me know it would be 4-6 weeks before I saw the final images and they delivered within that time frame. The images were mailed to my home in nice packaging on a flash drive. I posted the watermark versions on Facebook and our friends & family LOVED them. Overall, we are very satisfied with Arielle Teft Photography and would recommend them to others. Because I think every review should comment on areas of improvement, I would offer the following: - I was a plus size bride and I think that is challenging for some photographers. ATP did a great job of editing through what I'm sure were 100's of terrible pictures. During the bridal portrait session I think some direction on body positioning could have improved some shots. In general though, I received MANY flattering images. - I could see a difference between the photographs Nathan took & the ones Arielle took. Arielle has the edge when it comes to photography, but Nathan's presence / calm / direction were very much appreciated, and both of them got some amazing shots. Together they make a great pair, and would recommend having the second shooter.

There's something so magical and fairy-like about the way she photographs. We met Arielle about a month before the big day at a casual coffee shop in Grand Rapids. She was so helpful and thoughtful about helping us plan our schedule for photographs on the day of. Arielle and her partner were with us the day of our wedding for a full 12 hours, and honestly, most of the day I didn't even see them! They did such a great job of blending into the background of the event. My entire bridal party kept complimenting how great they were -- they did such a good job at managing our large bridal party of 19 people. Overall, I'm so pleased that we found Arielle. Her and her partner take amazingly beautiful photographs, and I'm so happy she was available to shoot our wedding day. Thank you, Arielle!

edding vendor. I liked the happy, traditional style of many photographers, but something about Arielle's photography kept me returning to her page over and over again. She showcased some really unique dramatic pictures on her website, and I just hadn't seen that anywhere else. So, being super type A - I wanted to meet my top 2 photographers. I met Arielle for tea & the other group for lunch. She was to-the-point, genuine, and I found out we shared a love for travel & good tea! I told her -'Hey this is my vision...could you do this?' and her response was 'Yes!' I just wanted to confirm that she could take both dramatic & fun, silly pictures. She showed me some examples of both, and I was all set to put the deposit down. The other group felt like every other photographer I had spoken to on the phone (but in person): - overly smiley (but it didn't feel genuine), cheesy, and spending the majority of the time telling me how THEY normally do it, not listening to what I had in mind. During our emails back and forth leading up to the wedding, Arielle was professional, and willing to hear me out when I sent her questions/my ridiculous Pinterest boards. What I like about Arielle is that she is a good business woman in addition to being an artist - if she knew she wasn't going to be able to fulfill a request (because I can guarantee I sent huge requests), she stated it up front. That was huge for me, because I'm one of those brides that got very caught up in the planning, and it helped me to set realistic expectations. On wedding day, she was right on time at the salon & her second shooter/husband-Nathan, was as well with my husband while he got ready. Our morning prior to the ceremony was just shy of a disaster because our salon seriously messed up, but Arielle remained calm & focused during the whole thing, and still got many great shots when there was a significantly reduced opportunity to do so - that shows some serious talent on her end. Her attitude helped me feel like everything was going to be "ok", even though on the inside I wanted to cry. (so THANKS Arielle!!) From then on the schedule went smoothly, and she & Nathan were SO much fun to have with us along the way. They are also one of the cutest couples ever, so there's that. They just have a great energy that I feel like only a husband & wife team could have. Nathan came on the party bus with us & got lots of fun shots while Arielle got the gorgeous romantic ones at our various picture locations. So they really helped to make the wedding day awesome. We got our pictures back soon after (I think like 3 weeks which is standard), and I was just so pleased. They had everything I had hoped for - dramatic, fun, ridiculous. She really nailed it. In summary, when you're booking a photographer, be aware of your personality, how you react under stress (because weddings are stressful), your style, & vice versa for them. Have realistic and/or adaptable expectations. Ask all your questions up front. That way, both you and your vendors will both be happy. Now that you've read my review, why haven't you booked Arielle already?
