TL;DR: Arika is a genuine artist at work - we loved her for our wedding photos & videography and would happily hire her again! Detail: My wife and I hired Arika to capture our wedding and she did a PHENOMENAL job! My wife knew that she made the right choice from their first meeting together (as well as scouring through Arika's recent Instagram posts) and I knew we made the right choice during our "primer" session (couple pics ahead of the wedding). Arika is incredibly genuine and fantastic to work with. Though she often has a vision in mind, she can easily adapt to whatever kind of requests are made. Regarding her photos - they truly are works of art. The pictures from our wedding (and quasi-engagement shoot) have an air of lightness yet beautiful color that is timeless. She was also very fast in providing initial peaks at our photos and then getting our full photo-album put together. We'd received our full photo catalog in less than a month from our wedding with the video taking a little bit longer (though it was well worth the wait and still a faster timeframe than what some of our other friends had had). I would also like to give kudos to Arika's team which for us included Arika's husband and an assistant photographer - they were delightful to work with. Having Arika as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. She is responsive, fun, organized, and incredibly talented. Our photos from our engagement session at Biltmore Estate and Craggy Gardens in Asheville was a blast and the pictures are incredible. She made us feel so comfortable. We just had our wedding on April 30th and she sent us sneak peeks the following day. We are so excited to see the full gallery, but she gave us a ton of photos to gush over in the meantime. We also ended up having AJP do videography as well and we're so excited to see that as well! Arika is an angel and we highly recommend her!

Arika is one of our go-to photographers that we always recommend because not only are her photos beautiful, but she is fun to be around on a wedding day-- which is exactly what you want in a wedding photographer! We always encourage our couples to select someone who can help set the tone for the day and when Arika is at a wedding we just know our couples are going to have a great time. As a wedding planner, I can truly appreciate a photographer who can set the couple's minds at ease because it helps our jobs that much easier as well! We all just want to make the day as successful as possible for our couples and I think that she does such a beautiful job in that-- both in front of and behind the camera.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing and talented Arika is. Her photography is gorgeous and she was so good at helping us pose and she made the experience so enjoyable with her fun, easygoing personality. During our reception, we asked her to take a group photo that turned into about 15 different group photos and she handled the chaos like the champ that she is. She got us sneak peak photos the morning after our wedding and of course they are amazing and I cannot wait to see all the photos soon. I can’t wait to use Arika again in the future for professional family photos.
