Arika was absolutely wonderful for our engagement photos and day-of wedding photos. She was professional and efficient and knew exactly where and how to get the best shots. She was...
also incredibly fun to be around during our sessions and has a great attitude that made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. And our photos have turned out amazing. We would definitely recommend hiring Arika!
TL;DR: Arika is a genuine artist at work - we loved her for our wedding photos & videography and would happily hire her again!

ding and she did a PHENOMENAL job! My wife knew that she made the right choice from their first meeting together (as well as scouring through Arika's recent Instagram posts) and I knew we made the right choice during our "primer" session (couple pics ahead of the wedding). Arika is incredibly genuine and fantastic to work with. Though she often has a vision in mind, she can easily adapt to whatever kind of requests are made. Regarding her photos - they truly are works of art. The pictures from our wedding (and quasi-engagement shoot) have an air of lightness yet beautiful color that is timeless. She was also very fast in providing initial peaks at our photos and then getting our full photo-album put together. We'd received our full photo catalog in less than a month from our wedding with the video taking a little bit longer (though it was well worth the wait and still a faster timeframe than what some of our other friends had had).
I would also like to give kudos to Arika's team which for us included Arika's husband and an assistant photographer - they were delightful to work with.
Should we have any additional photography needs, we will be reaching out to Arika - if you're still reading this, I think you should too.
Having Arika as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. She is responsive, fun, organized, and incredibly talented. Our photos from our en...
gagement session at Biltmore Estate and Craggy Gardens in Asheville was a blast and the pictures are incredible. She made us feel so comfortable. We just had our wedding on April 30th and she sent us sneak peeks the following day. We are so excited to see the full gallery, but she gave us a ton of photos to gush over in the meantime. We also ended up having AJP do videography as well and we're so excited to see that as well! Arika is an angel and we highly recommend her!
Arika is one of our go-to photographers that we always recommend because not only are her photos beautiful, but she is fun to be around on a wedding day-- which is exactly what you...
want in a wedding photographer! We always encourage our couples to select someone who can help set the tone for the day and when Arika is at a wedding we just know our couples are going to have a great time. As a wedding planner, I can truly appreciate a photographer who can set the couple's minds at ease because it helps our jobs that much easier as well! We all just want to make the day as successful as possible for our couples and I think that she does such a beautiful job in that-- both in front of and behind the camera.
There are not enough words to describe how amazing and talented Arika is. Her photography is gorgeous and she was so good at helping us pose and she made the experience so enjoyabl...
e with her fun, easygoing personality. During our reception, we asked her to take a group photo that turned into about 15 different group photos and she handled the chaos like the champ that she is. She got us sneak peak photos the morning after our wedding and of course they are amazing and I cannot wait to see all the photos soon. I can’t wait to use Arika again in the future for professional family photos.
Arika was exceptional! Seriously no other way to put it! She helped organize and direct us all day and took unreal photos!! 10/10 would hire!
Arika was SO much fun to work with. We had several reschedules over the course of a year and a half and she was super accommodating and understanding. She was also really supportiv...
e through other vendor issues we had in the process - acting as a shoulder to lean on. She wasn’t just a photographer for us! We would recommend her to everyone in need of a wedding / newborn / anything you need a photographer for. In fact, we already have! Thank you Arika for not only being an amazing photographer, but for bringing my vision to life! We’ll be coming back for every life event that requires a photographer, 100%!!
Arika was absolutely incredible to work with. From the start, she was kind helpful and so willing to go above and beyond to help my now husband and I. Since I was a COVID bride, th...
ere was a lot of last minute decisions, moving around schedules and what not, she was responsive and helpful when it came to changing dates. Luckily, Arika and her husband were able to photograph my wedding, and all the pictures turned out beautiful. She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera and had a blast doing it. I highly recommend Arika for any and all weddings!
Our daughter was looking for a particular style for her wedding pictures and Arika was PERFECT! And once you meet her, you feel like you have a new family member! Our daughter Sa...
m's bridal portraits were breathtaking and FUN! Arika is professional, on time and flexible - I was amazed at all the wedding and reception pictures that she and her team took. Captured the sweet moments, captured the fun and humor of the bride and groom. So patient and nice !
Wedding pictures are one of the MOST important vendors - this is the person capturing your special event for your lifelong memories. Arika was the perfect choice! Thank you for being a part of Sam and Martin's wedding!
Arika is incredible. Both my husband and I were a little nervous about our engagement pictures, but she made it so easy and comfortable, and our pictures are amazing. Arika had us ...
laughing the entire time, and by the time our wedding rolled around she seemed more like a friend than a vendor. She captured all of our favorite moments of our wedding day so beautifully, and got us all of our pictures back SO quickly. All of our friends and family can’t get over how amazing our pictures are, and we are so grateful to have found her to document our wedding day!
I met Arika on a rainy day at Biltmore Estate. After my husband proposed to me, and got up from his knee, he said “If you turn around you’ll see our photographer.” From that point ...
forward I knew she would be our photographer for life. Behind the scenes her and Dustin had been planning for months and months on how to make our engagement day perfect (to which it was despite the rain that showed up.) I have to admit I was a little timid at first to pose in front of the camera, but she made us so comfortable that it felt like second nature to smile for her. From engagement session, to bridal portraits, to our wedding she was everything and more that we expected out of a photographer. Being the bride, I had wedding day jitters, so I forgot to tell Arika that I would be at the church instead of the country club, but she took every challenge that I threw her way and rolled with it. Thank you Arika for all that you did for me and Dustin. We love you and your cute little family!!
Arika and I hit it off beyond belief when we first met, and every session felt more like meeting up with my friend. From engagement photos, to bridals, to the big day, we loved wor...
king with Arika every step of the way. She was more help than anyone; from helping us plan the day of timeline, to calming my nerves when hurricane Florence postponed us, Arika was flexible, professional, and made me feel that she cared about our day going as amazing as possible as much as we did. I also can't speak enough that while most photographers in the busy season take months and months to get you your photos back, Arika got us our photos back in 2 week and I cannot be more in LOVE with how they turned out nor the amount she delivered! Lastly you will not find a better gallery set up than hers! Arika was the best vendor we hired and the best decision we made choosing her!
Arika was an absolute dream to work with! We met during our engagement photos and we instantly clicked. She was so fun to be around and we were comfortable with her, even though we...
both are camera shy. As soon as we saw our engagement photos we knew that we needed her to photograph our wedding! I loved having her at our wedding because it felt like having a friend follow us around. Our photos were SO breathtaking. I would recommend her to any bride—seriously, book her! She’s amazing.

from the start and we never stopped laughing. Her husband joined her for the wedding and he was great as well, even bringing me my lipstick just before the ceremony. We would love to work with her again!
