Mary, Lucy and the rest of Arioso Strings are a 10/10 and a "must have" for your wedding day! They were so incredibly easy to work with, especially through the process of postponing our wedding. Both Mary and Lucy were extremely responsive and were so accommodating and willing to take the time to talk through exactly how to bring your wedding vision to life. Of course, the music they played during our ceremony and cocktail hour was absolutely beautiful and it was one of the pieces of our wedding I was looking forward to the most. Boy did they deliver :) Our guests continue to comment on how beautiful our ceremony was and huge part of that is credited to Arioso Strings. THANK YOU!

The ceremony music was beautiful, and Mary Block was easy to work with as far as creating a list of songs for the ceremony itself, and the prelude to the ceremony. A great variety of songs, from the traditional to the unexpected – my (now) husband was very excited he could sneak in Zelda’s Lullaby from the Ocarina of Time and several other guests commented on the pleasing variety that worked really well together.

I would highly recommend! We used them for our ceremony music and they sounded beautiful! My husband and I were able to enjoy a private first dance after the guests left, which was so special. They were easy to work with and had samples of their music on their website to help with your music selections. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about them, and I am so glad that they were a part of our wedding!

Mary Block and her team performed beautifully at our ceremony and during the cocktail hour. Our guests loved every song they played. Mary was also very accommodating with finding music they had not played before for some of our songs. Such beautiful music!

My husband and I hired Arioso Strings to play the ceremony music for our wedding in March and loved working with them! Arioso Strings worked with us to create and compose a custom music piece for our exit that was the fight song from our undergraduate alma mater. They have an extensive music list that you can choose from in addition to the custom piece we requested. I would highly recommend hiring Arioso Strings!

Our daughter was married at Fearrington Village in Pittsboro, NC on 3/4/17. Arioso Strings was on Fearrington's preferred list of music vendors and upon our first contact with Mary Block via phone and email, we could definitely understand why! Mary is incredibly clear and organized in her explaining of the contract and the various ceremony music that they are able to provide. She was very patient and supportive to us wedding planning/music newbies!! We contracted for her quartet of musicians and they were simply perfect in presentation and musical talent! She offers a wide variety of song selections from classical to modern and various combinations/numbers of musicians to suit any individual/venue needs. The entire wedding party, family and friends remarked on how perfect and wonderful their music was for the occasion. Out of all the memories that stick out in my head from our wedding day, listed at the top is the ceremony music provided by Mary and Ariosto Strings. Craig and Luciano were the duo who performed and customized our playlist. Wow! Absolutely beautiful performance! In addition, Mary was incredibly sweet and wonderful to work with... so if you are looking for ceremony music for the wedding of your dreams, look no further!

I absolutely loved working with Mary and Arioso Strings. They allowed us to completely customize our music (and even let me change my mind several times!). I added some songs that weren't in their repertoire originally, and they even played for my husband's sister who sang during the ceremony. They were perfect!

Wow! What an amazing performance for our ceremony and cocktail hour! I had friends asking if they could tip the musicians because they were so amazing (we, of course, took care of that). They were personable and easy to work with both during the planning process and on the big day. I am so pleased that we spent the extra money for live music for part of our special day, and even more thrilled that we decided to go with Arioso Strings!

We had the violin a cello duo for our ceremony and it was beautiful! I highly recommend them!

Mary and the Arioso Strings team are a joy to work with. From the start, Mary was great at lending a gentle hand on any ideas we threw at her. We ended up selecting the duo (violin and jazz guitar) for our small art gallery ceremony. Craig and Ed did a beautiful job. We had a special request for the duo, Cosmic Love by Florence + the Machine. I was a little nervous knowing they would not have played it (live) before, but once i heard the song start to kick off our processional it was just amazing! They performed such a lovely rendition! The duo from Arioso created the exact feel we were going for with our wedding. A decision well made.

Mary Block of Arioso Strings is amazing. I was so pleased with her and her musicians. I wanted to walk down the aisle to a song that the musicians had never played and Mary assured that they would be able to get the sheet music and everything would work out fine - which it did. It took me a few weeks and several emails/phone conversations with Mary to decide to go with Arioso and I am so glad I did. I selected a piano, violin and cello trio (which is not standard, but Mary let me do it). The trio sounded awesome! The ceremony had a few spots that didn't go as planned and the musicians adjusted seamlessly. I highly recommend Arioso for any bride that wants to have a classy, memorable and personalized wedding ceremony.

Beautiful ceremony music!

Arioso Strings was so easy to work with. They are a little on the pricy side, but it was totally worth it! They were on time and on point. We used these for our ceremony music (2 classical guitarist) and I would highly recommend them!

Arioso Strings did a wonderful job playing before and during the ceremony. We hired the string quartet and selected the songs for our ceremony and were very happy with their talents and service!! They did an awesome job, very professional!

So I paid for a quartet and got a trio, not due to the musicians fault. Due to the rain and having to move the ceremony inside a tiny building that barely fit everyone. I don't remember much of the music, but I believe it was good. I was too busy freaking out about rain and everyone fitting into my tiny church. I would recommend them. But don't pay extra for a quartet. The trio did a wonderful job!

As the bride I think I interacted with our ceremony musicians the least. However, everyone told me how they played music at exactly the right volume and everything they played was clearly chosen to sound right for their instruments. They do a awesome job with classical music and are very talented musicians. They also make the process of selecting the music and telling them what you want really easy with online forms and samples of almost everything they can do online.

These musicians were the most affordable & very easy to work with (we went with a duo which was perfect). We wanted a few extra music pieces that they didn't have but they worked with us to play them for us. We worked with Mary and she was so sweet and so helpful. She had great suggestions and was very organized. So glad we chose to use them! The music was so beautiful and exactly what we wanted for our day.

Arioso played at our ceremony and during the cocktail hour of our reception. They played beautifully. My mom coordinated everything with them and I know she found Mary very easy and pleasant to work with.

We hired the classical guitar duo and were extremely happy with their performance. The music truly made the atmosphere. We accidentally chose music from the single classical guitar list, but our musicians were able to adapt our selections into duets. We were very thankful as we had already had our programs printed with those selections and had spent a good bit of time making those selections. We will definitely recommend!

They were fabulous to work with. I had no idea what music to pick for my ceremony. They were very kind and helpful. They really went above and beyond. They were on time and played beautifully! Highly reccomend them!
