Management here is also terrible (Chris) on how they handle things and or the lack there of, actually. Their turnover rate is insane which makes sense on why they’re doing nothing about Kait or issues that we had. She was our 5th or 6th coordinator in the first 6 months of planning. The venue is a hidden gem, nestled in the golf community at Craig Ranch. It is spacious and beautiful, with choices for weddings of all sizes. Planning a large wedding, our options were somewhat limited to find a place that had adequate space. Aristide Mckinney not only has two large ballrooms, but an absolutely beautiful chapel that will hold a large crowd. Touring Aristide was a breeze because all of the rooms are set up already, with samples of what your wedding would look like. It was easy to envision our bride and groom and guests enjoying themselves at this venue. If you're looking for an all-inclusive option, Aristide Mckinney and Laura do it all!

Sydnee took care of us as our event coordinator and was so accommodating the entire time. She helped with all of our questions and was always quick with responding to our emails or text messages. Our day of coordinator, Kiana helped make the day run so smoothly which we really appreciated. As I was getting ready, I didn’t have to worry about any of the vendors, decorations, or timing because of how well organized she was and it brought so much relief on a day that is usually hectic. Lastly, but certainly not least, our DJ Aiden was really the star of the show for us and our guests! We got paired up with Aiden through the venue because of his vibe and he provided such a great energy! We got to have a meeting with him about specific songs we wanted and cues and he nailed everything we were looking for from my entrance into the ceremony to the very last song with our guests. He got everyone on the dance floor, it was never empty the entire night. We can’t thank this amazing staff enough!!

Inclusive packaging offers and not having to shop around for all our vendors and have been so happy with the services included. Emily our wedding planner has been absolutely FABULOUS, helping me navigate all the decisions from start to finish. All the vendors we used through them (florals, bakery, catering, Suits, photography) have been very easy to work with and I’m really excited to see the finished product in a few weeks. Would highly recommend booking with Walter Weddings if you want an easy wedding planning process!

Josh. They were all very professional, kind, understanding, flexible and accommodating. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback from all my guests and they all said it was the best wedding they've been to. The food was delicious as well and everything was happy. I got the open bar and buffet menu for about 225 guests and it was very affordable and reasonable compared to many other venues I've seen in the DFW metroplex. I would recommend this venue to all. It is a one stop shop and it really made me less stressed than many bride friends I've seen in my adult life.

Through this very challenging time with the wedding being canceled by the groom it was amazing that we were able to still recoup some of the food and services for my daughters masters degree party that we had on Saturday. Amanda was very caring and went out of her way to keep in touch and I can only say that the service that she gave us was over and above. She is an amazing employee and I enjoyed working with her. I am in the hospitality industry and have been in for over 40 years and she is a jewel. I also wanna to share that the food was amazing and almost 80 guest attended and kept replying who is your caterer and I could only share with them it was Walters Estates. Your vendors are amazing also Lizzie bees produced the most beautiful flower arrangements and I could only imagine the job that she and her team would have performed for my daughters wedding if it would have not been canceled. Also Jenny Lane‘s bakery she was amazing to work with and produced a beautiful cake that fit the theme for her graduation along with the dessert bar. And the cake was some of the best I have tasted. Thank you again for everything and I will follow up soon.

th us every step of the way. We received great service and attention to our wishes. All of the preparations leading up to the wedding went well. We even got an opportunity to take our engagement photos at the Mansfield location since our other plans did not work. The estate was nice and clean. The bridal suite was a bit warm in temperature but everything else was on point. The staff was very attentive. There was a mix up with the venue scheduling a wedding rehearsal of another couple during our reserved time. This was quite unnerving and frustrating. They did do all they could to make sure everything else was on point. We did feel accommodated and were treated with care and respect. All of the guest enjoyed themselves and our wedding was beautiful and elegant. The venue was a very important element of the outcome.

s but Joshua and the Aristide vendors did an amazing job with their guidance every step of the way. They were all super attentive to all the questions we had and just made us feel very taken care of going into our wedding. Even our planner loved working with Joshua as he helped make her job much easier! The best thing I can say is that there is no need to feel stressed during planning when you have great people taking care of you.

(Gaby Diaz), the manager, is amazing and was so helpful the entire way through. They also work with a lot of great vendors that they recommend to you. Aristide McKinney Venue family, you all assured that my husband and I had a peaceful, beautiful, and unforgettable wedding. We are so grateful! Thank you!

the wedding. While Gaby was pleasant and I believe meant well, she was not available or present for 3 of the 4 scheduled visits to the venue. She was either non-responsive or slow to respond to emails, texts, and in returning phone calls throughout the whole process. In each case, she was always apologetic, stating she was in a meeting or had another pressing matter. Additional amenities were offered and documented in emails, but all were not adhered to. Our confidence in Aristide was affected when she didn’t follow through on things that were promised. Through it all, we had an amazing and fun wedding celebration. The food was great and we and our guests danced the night away.

as the harder problems. The venue has 2 ballrooms and we utilized the larger ballroom to accommodate our 150 guest. My husband and I planned our own wedding and Gaby was our point of contact. We learned and understood that Gaby had the responsibility of multiple appointments other than us, but she was always able to make things happen. Obviously, there are things that may not go as planned, but no matter what we had to adjust, Gabby took care of everything. Overall, we made the right choice in choosing this venue!

She worked with us throughout the entire process and we were able to postpone the original wedding date by a year (with no financial penalty) so that we could have the full celebration we had hoped for. The staff at Aristide - top notch. The amenities - we couldn't have been happier. And through it all, even over the year delay, Gaby was right there. I can't say enough about the customer service we received. It felt like dealing with family. Gaby made some great suggestions and was extremely flexible to our custom requests. I have no problem recommending Aristide McKinney (and Gaby) to anyone who wants a top-tier wedding experience. You WILL NOT be disappointed!!

Wedding Coordinator was the absolute best. She was great to deal with. She was on top of everything from A-Z. Even with last minute requests she somehow managed to make everything happen. I cannot recommend her enough. . It was my dream venue and I’m in love with it. (MN), the manager, is amazing and was so helpful the entire way through. They also work with a lot of great vendors that they recommend to you.

The natural lighting in the chapel, coupled with the multiple chandeliers are absolutely beautiful. There are two different reception areas and both are equally beautiful as well. The venue overlooks a golf course, and the outside areas are just as immaculate. If you’re looking for a venue in McKinney, you will not be disappointed.

fund. But not for the date, not for the cancelled wedding, but for all the items we paid for that were NEVER provided. We asked for a refund on drinks, which as far as we know, were not ordered or bought. On top of that, THEY COULD HAVE USED IT FOR ANOTHER WEDDING. It’s not like drinks expire after a week. We asked a refund for the upgraded lighting, the upgraded linen, cocktail tables, literally everything that was not provided and came at ZERO expense to them. Even more so, as mentioned above, they could still use this for future weddings. It’s not like they had to go in with a hammer and break all the lights and buy them again. They. Refused. To. Refund. For perspective, the added venue hour (never happened), colored wash lighting, linen upgrade, and premium beer & wine cost $5,175. None of this was refunded. Beyond unethical, immoral, and pathetic they could not even give us this back. This was so outrageous that we considered hiring a lawyer to assist us with AT LEAST these things. They could have kept the other $19,000+ but they refused for even this. Let me say that again, may not be a lot for some people but it is a life changing amount for others. Nineteen THOUSAND plus. The funniest part of this story….after we told them we were looking into getting a lawyer, GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? The manager immediately replied back and said “I have a few dates in December and January that we can take a look at. It's safe to say that involving our legal representatives can be even more stressful.” Yes. That was copied and pasted. He really went out of the way to say that involving legal representatives can be more “stressful.” What the hell have my wife and I gone through then? Seemed pretty stressful for me. It’s hilarious how the instant we said “lawyer” ALL OF A SUDDEN A DATE OPENED UP FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR. I told him that if they were willing to pay to hire our vendors back then we would accept. We had no money left after they took our tens of thousands. Note, these are the same vendors they forced us to cancel because they “could not offer postponement.” Please take another guess as to their response…. There was none. He straight up did not reply back for 6 days and then said “wifi and internet is bad” as his response and nothing else. Take this time to read some other reviews about their bad communication, please. There is an insane amount of detail I had to gloss over and this review is still extremely long. Like how we started working with a Barbara, who then left Aristide and no one told us, then we worked with Fernanda, then Gaby, then Daniel, then back to Gaby. The other reviews can attest as to why. Regardless, communication alone was horrid. Again, I know this won’t change the minds of anyone now and we are literally just mosquitoes buzzing around the Aristide business. They took our money and we are powerless to ever do anything about it. I am a man, but I am here to say that even men dream of their perfect wedding. I dreamed of this day my whole life. I know my wife did as well. We were so happy. And yet, every mention of just the word “wedding” this last year leaves us feeling nothing but negative emotions. We never had a wedding at Aristide McKinney, we only had a nightmare that we will never forget.
