Sam is such an incredible person that our wedding guests kept asking if she was our best friend. Like, sure - our new best friend, but we met her interviewing photographers! Sam was easy to talk to from beginning to end and made being in front of the lens as stress-free as possible. We were drawn to her work because her photos were so full of life, they almost felt like they were videos, full of momentum and emotion. She captures this beautiful balance of playful and moody and has a unique eye for chasing natural light as well as people's natural emotions! We had a super fun engagement shoot with her before the wedding and honestly, the day of the wedding felt just as breezy. Even the portraits moved quickly and efficiently and she had everyone genuinely laughing. We can't wait to work with Sam again - hopefully, we really will be friends for life now!

We knew we wanted to work with Sam from the second we got off our first call. Her work is beautiful and so is she! Especially after we first met for our connection session, we felt so comfortable knowing that Sam would be handling our photos and, moreover, helping us navigate the flow of the entire day. She is an expert time manager and people person. She advised us on our entire timeline (even laid out scenarios for different hair and makeup locations/timing) to the end of the party to make sure we captured the moments that were most important to us. We are a very laid back couple and appreciated having someone so calm, cool and collected to lead us through family and wedding party photos. And after that, capturing the wildness that was the dance floor! Our family and friends have been so complimentary about Sam's personality and work since we've shared some teasers. We would recommend her to any and every couple for their wedding!

Working with Sam was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. As soon as we spoke, I knew she was a perfect match for us. Not only is she incredibly talented (but that's obvious, I mean look at her photos), but Sam is a gem of a human and was an absolute joy to work with. Photography is easily one of the more important wedding day vendors to secure, so it was one of the first vendors we sought after. When my now husband showed me Sam’s page, I was blown away. The stories she tells in her photos, the LIGHTING, and her overall talent is just striking. From the moment we connected with Sam, we felt like we were talking with a friend - who made us feel safe, heard, and understood. Her experience shows not just in her photos, but in her advice of how to set up the day for pictures. leading up to our wedding, Sam created a website portal for us where we could fill out our picture needs/questionnaire, and be provided with best tips/tricks/and other important details. This was a really smart and lovely feature to working with Sam that no other vendor of ours had. When our big day arrived, Sam was prompt, positive, and ready to rock. We had a lot of family shots we wanted capture before the reception and she got them all and then some. In fact, many of my friends and family members made it a point to tell me how wonderful Sam was, how comfortable she made them feel, and how kind she was. That meant everything to us. And similarly, my husband and I felt at ease with Sam - she guided on us on how to pose and look our best. When I walked to my first look, Sam held my hand and gave me the best pep talk - resulting in me to break into happy tears and truly feel like I was safe and ready to do this. After our big day, we received almost 100 teaser photos, which definitely held us over to the two months later where we received over 1,400 beautiful pictures. We cannot get enough of them and are constantly being complimented on them. We would recommend Sam to any future couple in a heart beat and are so thankful that she was a part of our day.

Don't even hesitate to reach out and book, Sam is the INCREDIBLE. I knew from the first time I saw Sam's work that I wanted her to be our photographer and I knew from our first conversation that she was the one. She is so cool and easy to work with and made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. All of our photos perfectly captured our family and friends as if they were memories themselves - completely real and stunning. We feel so lucky to have our wedding captured so perfectly. In addition to how amazing our photos came out and how much we loved working with Sam, I've gotten countless compliments from our guests about how much they loved Sam. Thank you Sam, we adore you!!

Sam is amazing! We do not consider ourselves photogenic at all and feel very awkward with posed pictures. Sam made everything effortless. She is so detail-oriented and made sure we had a set timeline to share with everyone. Sam was a pleasure to work with and calmed our nerves. She blended in easily throughout the party and was everywhere! Anytime a group was trying to take a picture, she was there to capture it. And then we got the teaser pictures --- they're AMAZING! We couldn't have hoped for more and all of our friends and family are obsessed.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I'm having trouble putting into words how awesome Sam is, not only as a photographer but as a person. She made us feel so comfortable from the moment she got there and she felt actually felt apart of the day, like I couldn't have done it without her there. Not to mention, she partied with us and brought such a vibe that every one of our guests commented on how cool she was. I just got our full album back and there really aren't words for how perfect it is. She truly captured the happiness and love in the most epic way. HIRE SAM!!!!!!

We looked for a wedding photographer for a very long time. We knew we didn’t want a bunch of posed pictures that tend to look awkward and … well, posed. We wanted someone who could document the magic and love of this day in a real and artistic way, and we hit the absolute jackpot with Sam. We never felt weird or awkward while taking pictures, there was never the moment of “what do I do with my hands” that anyone who’s had their picture taken ever knows all too well. We just had a blast and goofed around and Sam turned that into absolute gold. We’ve been going through our pictures for about a month now still trying to pare them down (every last one of them is truly stunning) and everytime I look through them I get to relive the day all over again in the most beautiful way. Sam perfectly captured the beauty, silliness, joy, and love in a way that truly jumps out of the pictures she takes. To top it off, she's just about the raddest person to ever live, and you will have the absolute best time with her. And then she will gift you the most gorgeous pictures you could have imagined. Where do I start - I don't think words can express just how grateful I am that Sam photographed my wedding. I just got my album back and I am in AWE of how beautifully and how perfectly she captured the essence of the day. Every time I look at the photos I find a new favorite. I tried to pick out just a few to share, and I narrowed it down to a mere 247. Sam is just such an artist - her vision and the way she captures these special moments is truly something else. When I first started wedding planning, I was scrolling through Instagram when I saw a picture of a bride and her grandmother that immediately caught my eye - you could just FEEL the emotion and happiness radiating from the picture. Thankfully Arius Photography was tagged because I reached out and they were available, making it the easiest (and best) decision I could've made. Working with Sam was truly a pleasure. From the very beginning, we connected and she understood exactly what I was looking for. She shared her vision of the day and also provided guidance and advice beyond just photography; Sam has a wedding playbook that has absolutely everything you need to know when planning a wedding. From vendor recommendations to what shapewear works best to the perfect wedding timeline, the wealth of information she brings to the table is just astounding. Day of, Sam and her assistant, Gabriel, were amazing. We got married when mercury was in retrograde so that came with a few hiccups. Sam was able to make everyone feel at ease and Gabriel somehow managed to locate and organize all the groomsmen when no one knew where they were. We received so many comments and compliments from our friends and family about how great Sam and Gabriel were and how easygoing and fun it was to take pictures at our wedding. We are a group that HATES posing for formal photos and Sam made it painless (and even let me take my shoes off when my feet were killing me). Overall, our wedding day was a breeze and we have beautiful photos we will cherish forever all thanks to Sam and her incredible talent. --- TLDR: Hire Sam to capture your wedding day. It will be the best decision you make and you will not regret it.

Where to start with Sam...she an absolutely incredible human on top of being an amazing photographer! Sam was a joy to work with throughout the whole process. She went out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable on our wedding day. She takes the most beautiful natural photos and captures moments that we will cherish forever. The photos are the most gorgeous photos we have ever seen!

It’s impossible to sum up in one review just how much Sam’s presence meant to our wedding… but I’ll try. From our very first call, through our connection session, to the wedding day and beyond, Sam’s skill, presence, and infectious energy constantly reaffirmed that hiring her for our wedding was one of the best decisions we could have made. We’re not the type of couple that wanted a lot of posed, standard photos, and Sam’s style was exactly what we were looking for. Plus she offered her expert advice and guidance. Sam helped us navigate the uncertainty of planning a wedding before and during a pandemic, came to our neighborhood in Brooklyn to capture photos of us at home (and in our favorite bar!) and of course created countless gorgeous documentary-style photos of our wedding day. We will always have these amazing photos to look back on and remember how special our day was, and how special Sam made us feel.

Sam and her assistant Gabe made for such a smooth and memorable day. Sam is like a wedding coordinator herself with her knowledge of weddings, photos, venue, and relationships. I honestly think our wedding went so well partially because she was there. Im obsessed with every picture she took and all that she is in general!

We have received our teaser photos from Sam and they are absolutely beautiful; they encompass our entire vibe and vision from our wedding day. Frankly, the pictures could be ordinary, and we would have paid double just to have Sam by our side. The calming, chill and confidence aura Sam exudes inevitably calmed, chilled and boosted our confidence on a day when we needed it most. She drove two hours each way in a mask to be there for us. We cannot rate her, praise her or recommend her any higher and look forward to our completed album and all works she produces in the future.

Sam was the perfect photographer for our wedding. We were drawn to her style and personal approach towards photography. We wanted the photos to capture the vibe and intimate moments of the day more than having staged photos of ourselves and the guests -- though we got a bunch of those too :) . Sam made us feel very comfortable right away even though we were coming from out of town and weren't able to do an engagement session before the wedding date. Working with Sam was really easy from the beginning through to the end product. Our photos came out great; a year later we still look at them every day! Sam and Gabe MADE our wedding. Sam is beyond talented, professional, funny, patient, creative, and knows her venues inside and out. She handled my family like no one else could have, and make my husband and I feel extremely comfortable in front of her camera. Sam is worth every penny of her price - our photos are stunning; I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day, and she captured that. There is no one like Sam June. We know this because (it felt like) we talked to every photographer on the planet before finding her. We fell in love with her warm, genuine spirit from our very first call! She took the time to get to know us and our story while simultaneously instilling confidence that she truly knew her stuff. We were bummed to find out that she was already booked on our date but decided to move our wedding to another weekend just so we could work with her. We were super nervous for our engagement photos, which Sam June lovingly calls “connection sessions”, but there was nothing to be worried about! She kept us moving and laughing the entire time and surprising us with her creativity. If you just let go and trust her, your photos will be both beautiful and interesting. On our wedding day, she was an absolute rockstar — wrangling our families for obligatory family portraits with ease, getting along with everyone, keeping the timeline humming along. Not only is she professional and organized, she’s an absolute joy to be around. Saying goodbye to her at the end of our wedding really felt like we were saying goodbye to an old friend. When we got our wedding photos back, we were completely blown away. Sam June is truly an artist. We feel incredibly lucky to have such beautiful images captured by her. If you want romantic, nature forward, beautifully edited photos that capture the magic of your wedding, she’s your girl.

Can I give 10 stars? I've been putting off writing this review because I knew I'd get emotional writing it. There are not enough good things I can say about Sam. She is SO MUCH MORE than just a photographer. From my very first Skype call, Sam made me feel completely comfortable. She just has a way about her that makes you feel like everything is going to be okay no matter what. She worked with us to create a schedule that took advantage of every minute of her time so we could get as many photos as possible. She is so chill and down to earth, she got along with everyone, and she was actually fun to have around all day. She even danced with us and our friends on the dance floor at the end of the night. We just received our preview photos this week, and I was floored by the photos Sam was able to capture. She works with the natural light and captures the beauty in every moment. She isn't about posed photos, but instead finds real emotion. I can't imagine what our wedding day would have been without her.

I can't say enough good things about Samantha June. From the moment we met her during our Connection Session, we knew she was more than an outstanding photographer - she's an incredible and warm-hearted person who is a delight to be around. She has an unbelievable eye for light and made simply stunning photographs for us. On the wedding day itself, she did more than just take amazing photos - she calmed nerves, pinned boutonnieres when groomsmen needed help, made my Grandma feel special, organized group portraits with humor and grace, and brought warmth and love to every interaction. Where do I even start? I left a review on another wedding website for Samantha, but had to make sure I covered them all so that anyone searching for a photographer on any website can read how incredible she is! I cannot say enough good things about Samantha, and before anyone continues with reading my review, go ahead and set up an appointment to meet with her (and then book her!!). My fiancé and I just finished taking our connection session photos with her last week and our hearts are literally bursting with love and appreciation for her and her work. When my fiancé and I were first looking for our wedding photographer we knew we wanted someone with a totally different look. Someone that was capturing real moments, someone who was creative, someone who was not just doing a job, but was sharing in the moment with you. After our first meeting with Samantha we knew she was the perfect fit. She is warm, kind, energetic, and clearly seriously cares about making you feel comfortable. Her eye for light and for capturing beautiful moments is something I’ve never seen before, especially in wedding photography. We booked our connection session shortly after meeting with her and every interaction leading up to the connection session was filled with excitement and kindness. My fiancé can be very anxious and nervous, and Samantha put him completely at ease from the start of our connection session. Every smile, every laugh, every look was REAL and genuine and heartfelt. She doesn’t tell you to pose or where to look in a non-natural way, instead she has you whisper to your partner little things that will elicit genuine smiles and laughs, she makes little suggestions that bring you closer to your partner. I JUST CAN’T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS. You’re going to want Samantha to share your special day with you, and you’re going to want her to capture all the moments you would never even think of. With all that being said, book her!!! I am now just counting down the days to our wedding and to the magic she’ll create that day!

Let me tell you a little about Samantha June, owner of Arius Photography. Sam is no ordinary wedding photographer, which is the precise reason we hired her. Sam’s photography is, in a word, stunning. She finds the extraordinary in the ordinary. She furrows her brow and scans the area to find just the right light she needs. When she finds it, she gently coaxes you to just relax, breathe, and just stand there while she makes art. She might tell you to bring your hand down, or to quietly whisper a word into your partner’s ear. You may not understand what she’s up to… so you have to let go of your need to control and trust that she knows what she’s doing –she does. Sam is far and away the absolute BEST decision my husband and I made (other than marrying each other, of course). What drew us to her work was her portfolio of striking, non-traditional wedding photography. One photo in particular, a bride and groom swimming in the dark of night and shot from above, is what sold us. We looked at this photo and it took our collective breath away. You see, Sam is more than just a photographer. She is an artist. A storyteller. She really connects with her couples and the result is magical. From our very first contact with Sam, Tom (future hubby) and I instantly felt the click. She was warm, funny, and responded so enthusiastically to our vision. As the wedding drew closer, she spoke with us frequently about our day – what we wanted, what we didn’t want, and everything we had no idea about. Sam advised us every step of the way – and she was spot-on about everything, from the timing of when to do family portraits to the importance of being alone together immediately after the ceremony. Our wedding didn’t go exactly as planned. We booked at a ski resort and had planned to have our guests take the ski lift to the top for the ceremony. A thunderstorm an hour before quashed that idea, and we were a little devastated. Sam rolled with it, and we took advantage of the rain and the incredible light that often follows a summer storm. A moment I will always remember about my wedding is right after the ceremony: We had asked a dear friend to sing as we left the podium, hand in hand, married. Tom and I snuck behind a curtain, out of view of our guests, and sat there listening as we held onto each other. The emotion of the day was just overwhelming – the sadness about having to relocate the ceremony indoors coupled with the joy of having just been married a minute ago. We sat there, holding onto each other, tears streaming down our faces. Sam never left our side. The rest of the world slowly faded away. All we heard was our friend singing to us and the quiet, whirring clicks of Sam’s camera. If you want an artist who will capture the authenticity of your day – thunderstorms, tears and all: you’ve found her. It’s important to note that Sam will OF COURSE take all of the standard family portraits you want: she will arrange people, she will play by the rules, and she will compose lovely portraiture that your grandmother can put in a frame. She speaks to your guests kindly, respectfully, and with enough authority to (very nicely) get your uncle to put down his beer for two seconds. She’s everywhere throughout the night – all of our friends told us afterward how she never stopped moving. Never stopped shooting. From the first time we spoke with her on Facetime, to meeting her for our connection session and working with her for our wedding this weekend, we have continued to be amazed and wowed by her work and overall presence. Samantha is by far the best wedding photographer there is - I put top dollar on that statement! She photographed my cousin's wedding and I was astounded at the photos. I loved how she took these amazing, candid photos with this phenomenal lighting, but never noticed her! She was never in anyone's face and I needed that for my wedding since my husband hates photography. SO. I met with Sam, expressed with her my concerns and she said he is going to love me by the end of your wedding. WELL, let me tell you, EVERYONE loved Sam. All of our guests came up to me saying our photographer was amazing, so charismatic, wasn't annoying / in your face, etc. The bridal and groomsmen parties loved her as well - our portrait shots were efficient and fast, and then she made us take the fun, candid shots which we loved. She was extremely patient throughout the entire process and LISTENED - she wanted to make sure our day went perfectly and it did. She just put up a teaser and honestly it brought me to tears - I can't wait to see the full album. Do yourself a favor and book Sam!! She is incredible!!!!

Samantha is the absolute best in every way! She is extremely thorough with communication prior to the wedding. The day of, she was such a lovely presence. She interacted so well with everyone, and was effortless in moderating situations. It's so easy to feel comfortable around her, and she helped to create special moments between me and my husband where we could escape here and there to soak in the day. We got our wedding photos back and we couldn't be happier. Every shot is perfect. We've showed our family and friends and everyone has said they're the best wedding photos they've seen. If I could give Samantha June (Arius photography) ten stars I would! Five stars is simply not enough for all that Samantha did for us on our wedding day. Before meeting her, looking through her portfolios and website - I knew she was the style of photographer I was looking for. She is very detailed, organized, and clearly talented. Not only are her photos absolutely gorgeous and capture real moments (not overly staged or cheesy), but she also makes you feel SO comfortable when she is taking your photo. She clearly has been doing this forever and has many tricks up her sleeve to make you laugh, feel in the moment, or just feel confident when photographing you. Samantha is super friendly, a "girl's girl", and so much more than just a photographer. My wedding day had many different things "not go as planned" and without Samantha there, things would have gone from bad to worse. She took charge of our wedding day exactly when I needed her the most and I couldn't be more grateful. Our shuttle service was over an hour late dropping off half of our guests for our ceremony. Samantha let our other guests know (that were waiting) that the shuttle was running behind and kept them updated with information as it came without anyone asking her to. She reassured them it was no one fault. Not only was our ceremony almost an hour and half late throwing off our whole wedding day schedule but the day-of wedding coordinator at our venue was not a coordinator at all. My wedding schedule was falling apart in front of my eyes and Samantha was there to help keep the schedule on track. She told the Djs when to start our introductions, the caterer when to cut our cake, and even helped to bustle my wedding dress when my bridesmaids had trouble with it. When it was nearing the time when Samantha was scheduled to leave, I was afraid we wouldn't have time to get pictures of us cutting the cake with all the other things still on our schedule. Samantha looked at me and said "Don't worry, I never leave a wedding before the cake cutting." That made me feel so much better that with all the chaos, Samantha knew the most important events were still going to be captured. After our wedding, so many people told me how great our photographer was as they saw her helping with countless other things throughout our wedding. She is a rockstar and that's why I say she is so much more than just a photographer. If you are looking for candid, real, and beautiful photos that make you feel all the feels -Samantha is your girl! If you are not that comfortable in front of a camera, she knows how to lighten the mood and make you feel confident. If things happen to not go as planned at your wedding, she takes control and makes you feel at ease. She has been doing this forever and has perfected her craft and it shows! She is a unicorn of a photographer and this review is not enough to thank her for everything she has done for our wedding. TEN STARS!

I was lucky enough to find Arius Photography through my makeup artist and let me tell you, Sam June is the real deal. I knew leading up to my wedding that a photographer was something that I was willing to be a little “crazy” over...pictures last forever and tell a whole story in one image, so I knew I needed to be picky. I scrolled through countless websites and reviews but always kept coming back to Arius…something about their photos kept calling to me so I knew I needed to pull the trigger and boy am I glad I did. Sam was extremely pleasant to deal with in the weeks leading up to my wedding day and when we finally spoke on the phone I knew it was a match made in heaven. Just through hearing her voice I immediately felt so calm and relaxed and I could tell she understood mine and my fiancé’s vibe. The day of the wedding Sam and her second shooter showed up promptly and got right down to business capturing all the small but important details without disrupting anything that was going on. She was so present, without being present, which is exactly what you want in a photographer. When my fiancé and I were doing our couples shoot Sam knew exactly what to do to make us feel at ease and what to say to capture the most natural reactions from us. Our photos are beyond breathtaking. I cried while scrolling through each and every one because I felt like I was relieving my wedding day all while seeing things I never got to see the day of. The photos truly surpassed my expectations and Sam June is to thank for that.

Sam & Dave are a wife and husband team so the chemistry between them and their passion is highlighted and shown throughout their work. It was an instant hit and I myself in the creative industry so I was VERY picky when looking for an artist with an creative eye, detailed oriented, a clear vision that speaker to me. Sam June caught my attention and thats why we picked them plus I hired birdhouse wedding which they used as their videographer and I teared up watching their video. The amount of photos we received and work that was put in we were thrilled and please be patient if it goes just a week over the deadline they are truly crafted professionals that give 110%. Very organized when we received our photos. My advice to future bride and groom which is not Sam and Dave fault is I wish we took photos of some spots I wanted to shoot in BUT because of the sunlight/ time of the day there was places we couldn't because o the lighting it wouldn't shoot well. So give yourself some options and direction of places you would like to shoot in. My guest called them ninjas and they really caught a lot of expressions and candids. Best, Janet + Dave

We found Sam and Dave online while as I was scanning through the seemingly endless collections of photographers on endless wedding websites. All of the pictures looked the same to me. When I found Arius Photography I was immediately struck by the unique quality of their photos. Anyone can stand you up next to your wedding party and take a pretty picture. Sam and Dave have a way of finding the most magnificent, natural light to make you look etherial. Their use of light and color are artistic and creative. They are masters of the candid picture, which is exactly the style we were looking for. Their pictures are one of a kind, works of art, so different from the cookie cutter pictures of many other wedding photographers. Our pictures were so stunning they were described as “magazine worthy” by more than one of our friends. What you can't see online is how much support and guidance they will give you leading up to, and on your big day. As soon as we met them for a preliminary meeting my husband and I both felt instantly at ease with their professionalism and extensive experience, but mostly, we just really liked them as people. They are super-easy going, fun and relaxed. Having that kind of energy around us on our wedding day was a life saver. We had so much fun hanging out with them during our “connection session” that I knew they would get along wonderfully with our kooky rag-tag wedding party. I had Sam in the house with me and the bridal party, she brought such a calming presence and fit in seamlessly with all the rowdy women. While I was stressing out about the impending rain threatening to ruin my outdoor wedding, Sam was keeping me updated by showing me the weather radar images on her phone, making timing decisions about the first look portraits when I lost the capacity to think rationally, and managed, with all this craziness going on to take a wonderful series of photos. Dave was with the groom’s party and fit in like an old friend. They are unobtrusive when necessary but able to take the lead when the situation calls for it. They are super organized, consummate professionals, and they are wonderful people to boot. We could not be happier with the pictures they gave us but more importantly with the experience they helped us have on the most important day of our lives.

Astoundingly, monumentally, blown away by the beautifully talented Sam June! Arius was the very first vendor we booked and by far one of the best decisions we made in the entire wedding planning process. Her initial email was prompt, sincere and informative; she immediately felt like a dear friend who we were super stoked to include in our celebration. Her sage advice on timelines, other vendors and best use of light was invaluable and truly made the whole organizational process a breeze. She was always available with quick responses to any questions we had leading up to the big day, and our phone chat right before left me feeling completely at ease. The day of Sam (and her super lovely assistant) arrived with her substantial creative force and exquisite kindness and proceeded to dive right into her expertly practiced craft, making stunning images of the most special day in our lives thus far. It means more than I could begin to express having such a talented creative there to document these cherished moments, especially since a combination of adrenalyn and boundless joy can kick in bride brain (she warned me it’s a thing!) and make memories a bit hazy! We will treasure every image we receive, get to relive the day every time we look at them and have perfect heirlooms to pass on to future generations in our family. Arius Photography was recommended by a mutual friend. Upon checking out their photography online I was blown away by the gorgeous, professional, non-cheesy, candid seeming photos. I mostly communicated with Samantha June who was a dream to work with. She is so organized and on top of everything. We first met Sam and Dave for our connection session (aka engagement photos) and we were completely put at ease during this casual and fun photo shoot. They are super easy going and friendly and doing the shoot felt like we were just hanging out while posing for photos. The entire time Sam and Dave keep up this adorable banter with one another. We were truly made to feel comfortable being photographed, so when our wedding day came the photo session was completely stress free because not only were were already familiar with Sam and Dave's style of working, but since Sam was so organized about everything, the day of photography went so smooth it was amazing. They were even more than happy to work with our videographer, Color Room Films, so both could get the footage they wanted. Sam and Dave did a wonderful job of truly capturing the feeling of our wedding day. Once our digital album was ready to view we spent so much time just reliving the day with our friends and family. These aren't your typical wedding photos and the turnaround time to get the photos after the wedding was nearly three months, but it was worth every minute of the wait! The amount of work and artistry that goes into these photos, not only during the actual shoot, but afterwards making sure each and every photo looks perfect was apparent in each and every one. Everyone loved the photos! Their style is so unique and beautiful, we will cherish these photos forever. Best of all it is obvious that Sam and Dave love what they do and love working with their clients, you won't find a sweeter couple to work with and I would definitly recommend entrusting Arius Photography to preserve your wedding day memories.

We really loved working with Sam and Dave for our recent wedding. They were very responsive to any questions and worked with our schedules to come into the city and do an engagement session with us. During our engagement session and wedding photos, they made us feel so comfortable and were very encouraging. No awkward, cheesy photos here! Before the wedding day, they had a really helpful checklist to make sure they captured all of the different family photos we wanted, which we really appreciated. During the day, they stuck to the checklist and were really good at organizing everyone and getting everyone in line, so that we didn't have to worry about it. We ended up with so many amazing photos from our big day thanks to Sam and Dave. My husband and I used Arius to shoot our wedding video at our Hunter Mountain Wedding. As an art teacher and photographer myself, photo and video was very important to me and I wanted to make sure I had very talented and creative videographers to capture our big day. I am so thankful I found Arius Photography! Sam and Dave were fantastic to work with and were very unobtrusive the whole day. They worked seamlessly with our photographers and blended into the day, capturing moments that sometimes photography can't do justice on it's own. They were extremely professional but also made us feel completely comfortable with their personalities. Their style of editing was exactly what I was looking for. My husband and I began looking for photographers a few months after we got engaged. A friend recommended we check out Arius Photography's website, so we did. And we were hooked. Their use of light and depth is incredible. They capture the little things that mean so much to everyone in such a romantic way it makes you feel like you're reliving the best day of your life every time you see the photos. Sam and Dave were one of the first vendors I booked and it was the best decision we made. From the beginning, Sam was like talking to an old girlfriend, she made me feel comfortable and at ease about the whole process. She answered every question I threw her way during the whole process and even suggested some tips that made our day even better. I knew the whole time that we weren't just clients to them, that they really cared about us and about capturing our day in the best possible way. They never tried to up-sell us, they totally worked with our budget and customized our package to fit US. There wasn't "one size fits all" options with them. Even though we opted to not do engagement photos because it wasn't what we wanted, they insisted that we meet beforehand to make sure the day of we were comfortable. We met them for drinks and had the best time! They instantly make you feel at ease because they are genuinely awesome people to be around. The day of the wedding, I was so happy to see Sam because I felt like one of my friends had just arrived. Not to mention, I knew she was going to capture some amazing moments. They went above and beyond on our wedding day. It poured all day, didn't stop once, and they still got some of the most amazing shots outside. They drove us all around the property and turned the rain into something to be desired, because they created magical images, using it to our advantage. They captured shots and moments that your standard photographer doesn't catch. They shoot from angles that aren't generic and the finished product is breathtaking. Also, the whole time you are having fun with them! At one point Sam and I were dancing together while waiting for our group to get together for a picture. Feeling at ease with your wedding photographer is so important because it really shows in the pictures. Nothing is forced and the results are so natural and beautiful. I have gotten so many compliments on my wedding photographs, not just from family and girlfriends, but from so many of my male friends! Lets be honest, men usually don't have an opinion on wedding photographs, but so many have asked for Sam and Dave's contact info for their own weddings!
