Arizona Ballroom Champions

studios that could help us up our dance game for our wedding. We saw the great reviews for ABC and were also super impressed with how their website guided us through the process of setting up lessons. So we dove head first into this Tempe based dance studio. Their studio is on the southeast corner of Baseline and McClintock in Tempe. The studio is quite spacious (the equivalent of two full size basketball courts). So even on busy nights when they have alot of people taking lessons, there's plenty of space for those wanting private instruction as we did. The first instructor we worked with was Johnny. Johnny was a blast to work with and got us started off with some basic dance styles from across the wide spectrum of ballroom dancing. After working with him once a week for a couple of months, Johnny then handed us off to a couple of additional instructors who worked with us one a week for 4 months to perfect our first dance at the wedding. They let us pick the song and then they crafted a beautiful 2 minute dance routine for us that we spent the remaining months perfecting. They worked with us patiently and tirelessly each session and tweaked our routine as needed, but did so in a way that kept us comfortable. At the last pre-wedding lesson, we did a recital in front of the entire studio. We were nervous, but it was excellent preparation for the big day. By the time our moment arrived on our wedding day, we nailed it. We also used some of the moves from our initial lessons with Johnny for other dances. We are so grateful for the incredibly kind, enthusiastic, and hard working staff at ABC. They did an amazing job of helping us make our first dance better than we could've imagined. Even if you've got two left feet, ABC can make you into a champ.
